11/03/2026: The restaurant was more than nice. I didn't like the sauce on my bruschetta with porcini mushrooms, so they replaced them, but I'd forgotten I'd ordered tagliatelle with porcini, and it was the same sauce, so... I didn't like that either. How embarrassing! And they changed that one too. I don't know of a restaurant that would have done that... Absolutely fantastic!

07/03/2026: Completely satisfied! We stumbled upon Trattoria La Piattino by chance. But it was a pleasant surprise. 10 overall: Food, hospitality, wide selection, tasteful decor! The owner and waiter were very kind, and the food was delicious. It will be our regular stop every time we come to Zafferana! ❤️

08/02/2026: Positive experience, the dishes carefully prepared by the chef... everything delicious, high quality... but I'm sorry to say, but the service is not up to par... first of all, the maître d', unprofessional in many ways, was on his cell phone while I wanted to ask a question as if nothing had happened, the dirty table was cleaned only at the end, the waiter who while we were still eating took care of clearing and clearing away... the service must be on par with the kitchen, otherwise everything falls apart. I repeat, the dishes were divinely good.

22/02/2026: I hadn't been there in years, but it's still a firm favourite for the food, the friendliness, and the reasonable prices. I took friends there and they were very satisfied. The dishes are generous and delicious. The pork shank is highly recommended and one of the best dishes in my opinion.

09/01/2026: Terrible service. We were offered a verbal menu without any information about the prices. Trusting the service (after years of coming), we were literally shocked by the bill: €220 for appetizers (the diminutive is a must given the extremely modest portions), that is, 22 small plates of appetizers (I even doubt the actual number) for €10 each. Madness. Not even at the best seafood restaurants. Moral of the story: a bill of about €50 per person for 12 diners (including 3 children who only had a plate of penne with sauce each), of which €27 was just for the appetizer. Madness! Just as madness will be returning to this place. Don't get ripped off and ask for a menu with the relevant prices.

We especially appreciated the clear explanation of how the New Year's Eve lunch would unfold, given that it was a special day and was organized differently than usual. This made everything more relaxing and enjoyable, without any surprises. The location is splendid, with meticulous attention to detail and equipped with every comfort, ideal for enjoying a meal in complete tranquility. You can sense great attention to both the ambiance and the well-being of the guests. As a customer, I fully understand the commitment and sacrifices of those who choose to work during the holidays, and for this reason, the service we received was even more appreciated. A restaurant that demonstrates professionalism, organization, and great humanity. Congratulations, we will definitely be back! 🌟

We were here for dinner and the experience was impeccable from start to finish. ​Here's what impressed us most: ​The Pizza: Simply delicious. The dough is incredibly light, easy to digest, and has a perfect crust. You can tell from a mile away that they use fresh, top-quality ingredients: from the flavorful tomatoes to the highest-quality mozzarella. ​Friendliness: Rarely do you find such a cheerful and knowledgeable staff. They welcomed us with a smile and were attentive to our every need throughout the evening, without ever being intrusive.
