13/12/2024: E' il ristorante dello stesso hotel dove abbiamo soggiornato. Cucina principalmente di pesce ..... favolosa. Locale con vista magnifica sul promontorio di Castelsardo. Personale cordialissimo, sommelier simpatico ed altamente competente. ....e per finire uno strepitoso mirto fatto in casa. Costi sicuramente non cari comparati alla qualità.

26/10/2024: I really recommend this place with all my heart. Coming to Italy (Sicily) I wanted to eat good pasta. I managed to do it only after a week of searching from Olbia to Stintino and Nuoro. The place doesn't look very inviting. There is a bar downstairs where there are always a lot of locals, they stand in front of the entrance and generally it does not encourage people to enter. However, the bar is downstairs and the restaurant is on the first floor. We ordered quite a lot and got it quite quickly. The place is small and the terrace was closed, so behind the curtain you can hear dishes being fried and prepared freshly... Contact with the person serving is quite difficult if you don't know Italian, but we managed. The food is really tasty and recommendable. Delicious pasta, whether penne or spaghetti, very good "broth" and very tasty pizzas. We were 4 people, everyone had at least 2 courses, plus drinks, a liter of wine and dessert, and the bill was around €90. Truly the best food during our stay in Sardinia. And while thanking and complimenting the food to the person serving, we were introduced to the "kitchen crew". A place worth recommending, with a real Italian homely soul, where the focus is on quality and taste, not the number of customers. I RECOMMEND IT WITH WHOLE HEART!!!
19/10/2024: Wonderful food on a great roof terrace with very friendly service. We ate here 4 times during our vacation and I have to say, the ratio between price and quality of food is just right! No matter whether it was pasta dishes, desserts, meaty or fishy dishes, it was always reasonably priced and extremely tasty

01/11/2024: We went for lunch at the end of October on a beautiful sunny day. The restaurant is located in an area well served by parking and close to the rocks on which the live action Disney Little Mermaid was filmed. We ate outside with a view of the sea (unfortunately "filtered by the not too clean/transparent plastic of the gazebo). Authentic restaurant, which offers home-made cuisine without too many frills. Little form but a lot of substance. Excellent fregola and good service Price slightly high in my opinion, but probably average for Castelsardo. I would go back.

13/04/2025: Heureuse découverte personnel souriant , serviable et très professionnel. Une cuisine excellente et très savoureuse à un prix plus que raisonnable. Nous avons prix en entrée une assiette de moule et ensuite un poisson frais préparé avec soin , un vrai délice. Pour un prix plus que correct avec le Digestif offert par la maison. Le meilleur qualité / prix de castelsardo. On reviendra c’est sur.
04/04/2025: Locale storico di Castelsardo, tavolo con vista meravigliosa sul castello. Spaghetti alle vongole un po' asciutti, tuttavia buoni. Ravioli ripieni di pesce e melanzane con carciofi buoni. Conto giusto.

18/03/2025: Expectations were high, and the reviews are good, I can't explain it. A tiny trio of appetizers Spaghetti with clams with 5 clams counted, . Excessive prices. Maybe they think they're in Costa Smeralda.
31/12/2024: Reading the positive reviews, expectations were high, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment... starter acceptable €15, first course absolutely not, paccheri (overcooked) with calamari €22 (I wonder where they were...) price absolutely out of the market, for me it's no.

01/10/2024: This is our third week in Sardinia - we haven't eaten so badly in the whole three weeks - it's really a shame - vegetables are tough and oily like rubber - it was a lesson for us not to read the reviews beforehand!! Of course I can also rate the rest - the fish or little fish was a complete disaster - 20 € is, as others have already mentioned, a pure rip-off - insufficient taste and that's what a fish restaurant is called!!!!

01/01/2025: Nightmare New Year's Eve lunch. The staff and the place were poorly maintained and clean, long waiting times for the dishes. After serving the seafood morsels, flavored with the smell of spoiled fish, we asked them to block the first courses and bring us the bill and there, the waiter approached us with arrogance, threatening to throw the first courses in our faces. Change profession.
01/01/2025: All truly terrible. 2 hours to eat just the starter, plus smelly fish. The service and food were really slow. The waiter told us "it takes a lot to make the first courses, they are all different", next time we will ask him to choose for us. We blocked the first courses and asked for the bill, the waiter, a very rude ignorant man, started shouting everything, even saying "throw the plates in his face", fortunately we are polite, civilized and intelligent people and we didn't answer. Thanks, for ruining our day, obviously we won't be returning.

29/01/2025: Very panoramic point, refined atmosphere. The waitress was very kind, the boy less so. That said, very good fish indeed. We took both first and second courses with some side dishes. We have been there more than once, In the first everything is truly perfect... in the others "Ni". fish always good but the dishes were not the same... the pasta was too far ahead in cooking, the scampi in the pasta were raw, we point it out and are told that they must be like this... I doubt it since on the other occasions everything was cooked to perfection . High bill but well motivated by the location, the period (August) and the dishes chosen. In conclusion: excellent restaurant, just be careful not to catch the wrong evening.
25/11/2024: Iniziamo con l'accoglienza: arriviamo con leggero anticipo rispetto ad altri amici e chiediamo alla persona che ci ha ricevuto (che poi abbiamo scoperto essere il cuoco) se potevamo attendere nella bellissima terrazza panoramica a picco sul mare ed intanto prendere un aperitivo. Avuto l'assenso, in 4 ci siamo accomodati nei due tavolini (apparecchiati da due) ed abbiamo atteso invano che qualcuno prendesse l'ordinazione. Dopo buoni 10/15 minuti è arrivato il titolare che in maniera sbrigativa ci ha fatto alzare dai tavolini perchè prenotati da altri per il pranzo, dicendoci che l'aperitivo potevamo prenderlo in piedi, visto che non vi erano altri posti a sedere. Bene, anzi male, ordiniamo ugualmente i 4 aperitivi e ci arrangiamo sedendoci in fila sul parapetto a picco sul dirupo. Arrivati gli altri amici, ci accomodiamo al tavolo, in un ambiente angusto (4 tavoli in tutto), disordinato, pieno della qualunque ed anche non tanto pulito. Separata da un corridoio corto e stretto intravediamo la cucina, altrettanto angusta e decisamente sporca, da farsi il segno dela croce. Ci guardavamo negli occhi, ma essendo tardi e non avendo la certezza di trovare ospitalità altrove ci siamo rassegnati a fermarci. Per prima cosa ci è stato portato il pane ed un cestino con pane carasau guttiaiu (passato al forno con olio e sale), che era semplicemente immangiabile perchè condito con olio chiaramente rancido e forse nemmeno d'oliva. Subito chiamato il titolare (che serviva tutti i pochi tavoli) si è meravigliato ma ha ritirato il cestino e ne ha portato un altro con il carasau, esattamante uguale al primo e quindi immangiabile. Ci siamo rassegnati a non mangiarne e subito dopo abbiamo ordinato le portate, uguali per tutti, ovvero gli antipasti consigliati della casa e due primi di pasta, pure consigliati, rappresentati da fusilli carciofi e cozze e linguine ai calamari, tartufo e stracciatella. Immediatamente dopo, segno che i cibi erano già pronti, arrivano gli antipasti. prima un piatto con tre diversi mini bocconcini (inguardabili per colore e forma) e poi un secondo piatto con altri tre. Ebbene, nessuno di questi sei mini bocconcini omepatici erano mangiabili per quanto pessimi. Ricordo solo: n. 1 tentacolo di polpo (5 cm di lunghezza) con castagne; n. 1 quadretto di tonno al caffè (forse 3/4 grammi) , n. 1 pezzettino di sgombro (forse 2 grammi) con un indefinibile ed insapore salsa verde; n. 1 mini cilindretto di porro ripieno di gorgonzola (forse 5 grammi); n. 1 fettina trasparente di roast beaf (almeno credo), con una salsetta marroncina sconosciuta e indefinibile. Due dei commensali hanno appena assaggiato 1/2 di queste porcherie ed hanno mandato indietro i piatti che, invece, il titolare ha lasciato a tavola (per farceli pagare ovviamente). Arrivano i primi piatti: prima i fusilli che non sapevano di nulla, nememno di pasta bollita, per cui, avendo io nel frattempo dimenticato che avrebbero dovuto avere le cozze, ho chiesto il formaggio per dargli un mimimo di sapore. Da subito, ho masticato bucce di carciofo piuttosto che carciofo e quindi, oltre che insapori, erano duri come il legno. Mentre mangiavo la pasta, scartando gran parte dei carciofi quancuno esclamava toh una cozza... eccone un'altra. Insomma, alla fine della fiera uno ha trovato due cozze nel piatto, un altre 3/4 io nessuna e gli altri 7/8 in tutto. Disastro totale, anche col formaggio. Poi arrivano le linguine al tartufo, presente sul piatto con 1/2 scaglie di scorzone nero e totalmente insapore. Era evidente, dunque, che il forte, innaturale aroma del tubero era dato dall'olio aromatizzato, ovvero da una sintesi puramente chimica. Risultato, incommestibili anche le linguine che forse, senza quel veleno chimico sarebbero state almeno ingeribili. Inutile dire che due dei commensali hanno appena assaggiato e lasciato il resto nel piatto. A seguire, per farla breve, tre seadas al miele (normalissime), due caffè e due mirti rossi (questi ultimi offerti dalla casa). Preciso che come vino abbiamo ordinato due bottiglie di Karmis. Il tutto per la "modica" somma di 65, 00 euro a testa, per un totale di 390 euro. Ebbene, siamo persone abituate ad andare a pranzo e cena fuori da sempre e siamo anche abituati a pagare conti anche molto più salati, ma mai nella vita mangiando porcherie come quelle che ci sono state propinate ieri. Se questa è la ristorazione che rappresenta Castelsardo ed in genere il nord-ovest della Sardegna è giusto che nessun turista metta piede sulle nostre coste e nelle nostre città.

A waiter was rude, I asked to bring something, he brought it to me and immediately ran away (I needed to ask for something else), when he returned I asked him for something else and he ran away very quickly again, I didn't time to ask something else, when he came back I asked him and as he turned his back he exclaimed at the table behind in dialect, he thought I didn't understand: they're kidding me, damn. I told him that I understand the dialect and that every time he ran away and denied it. I went to pay and he did the bill, he didn't bother to apologize or give further explanations. Very Rude. Inability to relate to the customer.
13/10/2024: Just a beer and coffee, with a glass of water. Not too expensive with a nice view of the beach. I didn't eat there so no indication on that side.
