20/09/2025: A family-run trattoria, slightly difficult to reach due to the rugged dirt road that connects it to the eastern Sardinian coast. The place is charming, the service included a generous bread basket, and we were even treated to some house myrtle liqueur at the end of the meal. The fish was delicious and fresh, and the traditional dishes were excellent and well-prepared. The location is like a trattoria, but the food is a restaurant.
18/09/2025: This restaurant is right off the beach and had two sections
One is for coffee, drinks, and quick bites and the other is an actual full service restaurant. The food was great as was the service. It was really nice to have lunch with a great view of the beach.
The beach itself has a section where umbrellas and chairs could be rented for 30euros (one umbrella and two chairs). There is also a section if you bring your own equipment.
Free parking was also available right next to the beach.

The restaurant is very well-kept, and the entrance exudes elegance and order.
The owner, a very kind and polite person, welcomed us.
The cuisine is excellent, with top-quality ingredients!
The value for money is truly excellent.
From appetizer to dessert, we ate divinely.
I highly recommend their Sardinian oysters, bottarga, and everything on the menu.
I will return and highly recommend it.
05/10/2025: The restaurant is very welcoming and well-lit. The first courses and desserts were excellent, but unfortunately the second course (fried fish) wasn't even comparable to a Lidl frozen dish; it would have been worth returning.
Overall, for two people, with two bottles of water and a glass of wine, spending well over €100 seemed a bit excessive.

Agriturismo Sa Mendhula

15/09/2025: We really enjoyed it, especially the peace and quiet and the view. The breakfast is excellent with homemade products, and you can also make reservations at the restaurant in the evening. With a rental car, you can go on some great hikes from here, and there are a few beaches nearby. Very friendly hosts!
31/08/2025: An exceptional dinner at the Sa Mendhula agroturismo, recommended by our B&B host in Olbia. We trusted them and absolutely didn't regret it.
The meal was very varied, allowing us to taste many Sardinian specialties, and absolutely everything was delicious. Special mentions go to the mazza frissa, the zuppa Gallurese, the porceddu, and the seadas. All served with excellent red wine.
The setting is very charming and peaceful, and the staff is lovely.
10/10
P.S.: Don't eat too much at lunch to save room... and don't hesitate to ask them to take away what you don't finish; it would be silly to waste such good food.

04/11/2025: have never in my life experienced such poor and rude service in a restaurant. I ordered lasagna, which was completely burnt on the bottom and had no béchamel sauce at all. The coffee was good, though. I visit Sardinia often, but I will never return to this restaurant again.
12/10/2025: Overall, the food was good. The fregole were very salty, and still cost €25 per dish. The service was fast and honest.

17/09/2025: The location offers a beautiful view, but it's far from the city, so a car is necessary. The hotel is good for a weekend getaway, as there's no on-site entertainment. The breakfast was poor and identical throughout our seven-day stay. On the plus side, it was quiet and had plenty of space by the pool.
15/09/2025: Very good stay. Quiet hotel, great breakfast with a magnificent view. On the outskirts of Olbia and next to Pittulongu beach (book sunbeds with the hotel cat for a great rate and free parking). A receptionist speaks French and was lovely when we had some small problems and made calls for us in Italian. We will return to this establishment!

01/11/2025: Disappointing. As we'd say back home, this place is a case of "wanting to be something it's not." The food is quite average for the price: the fregula and chiusoni were nothing special; we had much better ones at other restaurants during our trip to Sardinia, and for a significantly lower price. Overall, everything at this restaurant has the "look" but lacks the "substance." It's pretty representative of Porto Rotondo in general: lots of "celebrity" nonsense, and in the end, nothing special.
02/10/2025: Excellent dinner featuring a remarkable amberjack ceviche and a good fish and shellfish soup. Perhaps a little too soupy, overpowering the underlying flavors. The white wine served was good, as was the myrtle dessert.

11/09/2025: This restaurant in Porto Rotondo is in a prime location (it was hard to find at night) and very quiet. It offers a well-presented menu and a decent wine list. The service is top-notch. Despite the fact that September isn't very busy in the area, neither the service nor the quality has suffered. I can't comment on the price because you're in Porto Rotondo. You wouldn't want to eat like at B.K.
Highly recommended for many reasons, but what we liked most was the attention of the waiters and the owner himself.

08/09/2025: The location is simply unique on the Costa Smeralda, a fantastic, elegant little square with a breathtaking view. Prices are average for Porto Rotondo. Excellent food with a simple, typical local menu. Oscar-winning fregola. My heartfelt compliments to the entire staff. Absolutely not to be missed. You'll experience a special evening. Well done, and sincere congratulations.

13/12/2025: We were on vacation in August of this year. There was a very long wait for service and for the meal to be served, the food was very average, the portions were small, and it was veeeery expensive for all of it.
29/09/2025: Nice place, nice decor for a beach bar. The staff wasn't attentive, and the food is incredibly inconsistent. The first time we had delicious fresh fries, and another time, for no apparent reason, we had frozen fries with lots of oil. The price was the same. So... maybe you're lucky, maybe you'll get a terribly sickening plate of awful food.

14/05/2025: I think this restaurant is pretty underrated in Sardinia ! Mario provided excellent service, was attentive and super kind! Besides the service being amazing , the food was also very good. Prices were fair and the portions were perfect .
I need to give a shout out to Roberto for the amazing passion fruit spritz !! They were so good, if we could we would’ve ordered a jug !!
Was definitely worth a stop to eat here !

09/12/2025: Let me start by saying that I'm not Sardinian, but Piedmontese, and I've been working in the nautical industry in Sardinia for over two years. Here in Sardinia, I discovered the "octopus" sandwich, and wherever I go, I like it and try it. Honestly, speaking here, this sandwich is mediocre, starting with the bread, which reminds me of McDonald's octopus, which is served in a salad instead of fried, and completely cold. It must be a management decision—tastes differ—but I won't be getting the octopus sandwich anymore and will look for a place that serves fried ones. Otherwise, everything is fine: nice, clean place, kind and friendly staff.
