19/10/2025: We are staying not far from Donna Maria and were looking for something nice for dinner. We found just what we were looking for.
The bread seems to be a house made loaf which is a pleasant change from some who just drop some rando bread in a basket on the table. This bread is good quality.
We began with beef carppacio which was delicious, especially the olive paste which provided a natural salty component.
My wife had gnocchi with lamb ragu and I enjoyed the mezzi ziti with a rich beef sauce. Both just wonderful dishes. Especially with Negroamaro to pair with.
We finished with a Crema di ricotta pugliese dessert that's a regional favorite.
It was a wonderful meal and the staff were professional and friendly.

24/09/2025: First class; we've rarely eaten so well. Friendly staff and a stunning sunset.
16/09/2025: Terrible. Spending two hours sitting at a table caused severe back and buttock pain! The benches should be covered with padded cushions! Terrible service. The grilled pieces of meat and salad were placed on the plates with a bare hand, as only one glove was used. Minimal portions and extremely high prices. A disabled person is not allowed in the restaurant, much less the bathroom, which, moreover, has very high steps that are dangerous even for able-bodied people.

24/09/2025: A bad experience. The food was pre-cooked, reheated several times, and then served. As with the risotto in the photo, it practically fell apart. The two glasses of white wine we ordered were of poor quality and had oxidized, as you can see in the photo, undoubtedly due to improper storage. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. Improve the quality of your products.
21/09/2025: I reply by saying that I go to the fishmonger's regularly and I know very well how much an octopus costs, after the first tentacle they brought me another 2 tentacles, and it doesn't seem to me that the total of three tentacles is worth 20 euros, so it doesn't seem to me that you work honestly, in fact, moreover the rudeness of the owner is unacceptable, she turned her back on me and walked away... answering me rudely... I think that a customer who requests or complains about something should be satisfied in some way or at least reassured.

25/08/2025: Nothing as promised, a place with great potential but left to itself. Don't promise things you haven't done yet! The restaurant is unusable, the apartments are dirty and poorly equipped, with dirty and malfunctioning refrigerators! For 60 people, there are two washing machines that you have to compete to use! The pool is nice but has major maintenance problems (broken railing, raised wooden flooring). You don't see anyone during the day except for an employee who does everything every now and then and on his day off he was left to his own devices. Will I go back? No, in fact I advise you not to go. Furthermore, I discovered that I paid the same amount as a family of 4 and there were two of us. Same period and no air conditioning. Stop making fun of those who work all year just to be able to enjoy a few days of vacation!!!!
21/07/2025: A few small things could be improved, but really not much. An ideal place for anyone seeking peace and convenience, freedom of movement, an excellent location, and a helpful manager. Worth a try, especially if you have a dog. Highly recommended.

24/07/2025: Onestamente non saprei da cosa partire prima, come scritto nel titolo, si può sicuramente fare meglio, nel servizio, nei tempi di attesa (la sala non era affollata ed i piatti che abbiamo ordinato non particolarmente complicati), nel prezzo. C'è da migliorare.
19/07/2025: Personale gentile e disponibile, da migliorare un po' l'organizzazione, bella l'idea di portare la lavagna col menu come anche il portare una pizza tagliata a pezzettinicon sale ed olio a mo di benvenuto.
Ottima la seppia ripiena, la pizza e il caciocavallo alla piastra. Prezzi onesti.

01/09/2024: Credo sia uno degli stabilimenti balneari meglio fornito della zona. Come clienti di un hotel convenzionato, abbiamo usufruito del servizio spiaggia. Inoltre abbiamo pranzato al ristorante, pietanze deliziose. Mensione particolare alla paposcia tre stelle e alla pepata di cozze
31/08/2024: Abbiamo usufruito dell’ombrello e dei lettini durante tutta la vacanza. In più cocktail cornetti ciambelle deliziosi.. per non parlare del ristorante pesce fantastico e pagato il giusto… ottima esperienza

Country House Azienda agricola Tavernola

13/10/2024: Cercavamo qualche locale interessante nell’entroterra di Vieste e In una sera di pioggia ci siamo ritrovati alla Tavernola. E’ stato davvero interessante !
Si tratta di una azienda agricola che propone prevalentemente i propri prodotti. La scelta è quindi alquanto ristretta, e comprende alcuni piatti diciamo “a la carte” e un percorso di degustazione di specialità del territorio.
Abbiamo assaggiato entrambi. Ad esempio il maialino arrosto, molto gustoso (ma porzione che, rispetto alle altre è risultata appena “giusta”), e appunto la degustazione, che mi sento di consigliare.
Chi la sceglie dovrebbe non prendere altro perché si tratta di 4-5 ricche portate di vari prodotti del territorio (verdure, latticini, salumi, fritti, ecc.) che noi abbiamo trovato veramente gustosi (anche se bisogna essere delle buone forchette per finire tutto).
Simpatici i proprietari e i loro cagnolini, che forse scorrazzano un po’ troppo tra i tavoli, molto affabile il cuoco col quale abbiamo conversato amabilmente e per chiudere veramente piacevoli anche gli assaggi di liquori alle erbe fatti in casa.
Prezzi moderati ma che tengono conto della ricchezza del menu.
Insomma, non limitatevi ai locali sul mare ….
