14/04/2025: In the historic center of Trani we had dinner in this little restaurant with stone vaults and well-kept and elegant tables. The welcome was thoughtful and attentive. The small tastings offered by the chef, simple and tasty, were very welcome. The raw material is fresh and expertly treated. The dishes we tasted were above our expectations. The spaghettone with garlic, oil, chilli and cicadas is as memorable as the appetizer with cod. My mother asked for fruit, a dish not on the menu and they were available to please her with a well-presented and varied mix of fresh fruit. Excellent list of Apulian wines recommended with wisdom. Prices in line with the good quality restaurants in Trani. Highly recommended

22/04/2025: Il Monastero è un ristorante eccellente dove il pesce è protagonista assoluto, sempre fresco e cucinato con grande cura. L’accoglienza è calorosa, lo staff gentile e attento, e l’atmosfera davvero piacevole. Ogni piatto è una delizia, dai crudi ai primi: una vera esperienza di gusto. Consigliatissimo!

21/04/2025: We had lunch looking at the reviews, nothing to say about the location directly at the marina or the very kind and helpful staff. But the only flaw, perhaps the most important for a restaurant where you go purely to eat, the dishes were without flavour, in fact something perhaps too salty.

06/05/2025: Restaurant to avoid, no smiles throughout the evening, neither the waitress nor the owner know what a smile is. There were 4 of us. The lamb chops were dry and overcooked, presented without seeing anything in the photo. The waitress opened the bottle of wine and left it on the table without serving. She hooked me with a chair that she moved without apologizing, she didn't smile once despite the repeated thanks we offered her each time she came with the dishes. We gave our meat to a dog that turned out to be the owner's dog who liked the meat all cooked and dry. If you like bread and olive oil, it's fine, they were the only things that were edible. I do not recommend this restaurant at all, there are much better and more welcoming ones than this one.

12/04/2025: Ristorante posizionato sul porto di Trani. Dalla veranda si osserva un panorama stupendo . Pietanze squisite. Pesce freschissimo e ottima la manifattura della cucina. Vivande e bevande di prima categoria. Servizio al tavolo professionale . Infine un plauso non può non andare al titolare Alessandro , persona squisita e raffinata. Da non perdere!

12/04/2025: Abbiamo trascorso una piacevole serata in coppia in questo ristorante a pochi metri dal mare nella splendida cornice del porto della bella Trani. Il ristorante ci è stato suggerito dal titolare del B&B come uno dei migliori ristoranti di mare.del posto. Siamo rimasti entrambi soddisfatti sia per la qualità del pescato, (freschissimo!) sia per l'elevata professionalità della cucina che dello staff in sala. Ci ha sorpreso la rapidità con cui il personale di sala accoglieva gli avventori e la competenza con cui seguivano i commensali, anche con un avvicendamento tra camerieri diversi. Ad ogni modo, abbiamo apprezzato la loro selezione di crudi, eccellente, la parmigiana di polpo con thé matcha; due ottimi secondi a seguire, ossia l'ombrina con funghi e crema di carota, leggermente dolce ma squisita ed il rombo e carciofi confit. Pertanto se volete guastare i sapori del mare in una cornice incantevole con tanta professionalità, questo posto fa decisamente per voi. Noi ci torneremo ben volentieri.

I recommend the spaghetti with sea urchins, very good, and the catch of the day which they will expertly advise you on. Medium/high prices Highly recommended for years with a guarantee.

29/03/2025: Location carina! Ma.....personale poco qualificato! Prodotto scarso e ripetitivo. Ordinato un apericena (forse non sapevano il significato). N.2 proposte entrambe fritte. La terza da noi ordinata, che non è arrivata tra l'altro, x cui riordinata..composta da, pensaste un po'..ancora fritto!più due paninetti con una parvenza di prosciutto capocollo. Non siamo ancora al conto ...ne vedremo delle belle👌 Da non ritornare più assolutamente.

22/01/2025: The terrace is certainly enchanting overlooking the Port of Trani, but the interior rooms are of an epochal refinement in a maritime style, characteristic to say the least, the welcome is superlative and the food is exquisite, fresh fish and particular Apulian wines. Definitely coming back.

04/01/2025: Eh...no...qui le parole non bastano. Non bastano perché bisogna recarsi personalmente per capire, ammirare ed essere rapiti dalla "magia" di questa location che personalmente adoro. È tutto elegante e raffinato, sognante e "magico". Tutto squisito, ottimi menù con accostamenti di vini. Servizio puntuale e preciso, personale attento, altamente qualificato che spiega minuziosamente le varie pietanze. Ottima la pulizia in ogni dove. Ristorante stellare (come pochi) che, a mio modesto avviso, non ha bisogno di migliorarsi perché è perfetto così com' è. C' è solo bisogno che continui sempre così. Ad maiora semper🤩
