22/02/2026: I'm sorry to leave this review because I don't usually do so, but unfortunately the experience wasn't positive. I understand it was a Sunday lunch, but for this very reason, it would have been necessary to organize things differently: people kept arriving (even without reservations) even when it was clear they were already having trouble managing the available tables. Perhaps it would have been more appropriate to stop more people coming in to ensure adequate service for those already seated. We arrived at 1:20 PM; the appetizer arrived at 1:50 PM, and the main course at 3:00 PM. 1 hour and 10 minutes late. Truly excessive. However, I must say that the waiters did their best, and we were even sorry to have to hurry because it was clear they were trying to manage a complicated situation. The spaghetti with clams was the only dish we enjoyed. The swordfish was a very, very small portion, while the seafood tagliatelle was poorly blended: it was obvious that the fish had been cooked quickly without any real creaming due to the delay. I hope it was just a bad day for the service, but I'm sorry to say the quality isn't the best.

22/02/2026: I'm writing this review while waiting an hour and twenty minutes for our first course, from when our appetizers arrived, which themselves arrived 45 minutes later. If you're reading this, I'm probably already starving; pray for my soul.

27/10/2025: On the seafront, a casual eatery run by young people eager to impress. With just a few tables, Osteria Pani e Pesci in Fano is the perfect restaurant for those who want to enjoy fresh fish and raw seafood in a shabby chic setting overlooking the sea. The somewhat slow service between courses (the portions are a bit small) makes up for it with excellent workmanship and beautifully presented ingredients. The prices are a bit excessive, not for the quality but for the quantity. I would still recommend it.

19/10/2025: A truly unique location on the Sassonia seafront in Fano! The owner is very knowledgeable and professional in recommending menu items. The dishes are tasty and delicious. There's a wide selection of wines and very fair prices considering the quality of the food and the careful pairing of ingredients! I highly recommend trying it.

26/11/2025: A truly pleasant experience, a very nice and well-kept place, an extensive menu with excellent, digestible pizza, but above all extremely attentive, kind and professional service, absolutely recommended!!

22/09/2025: A restaurant with a large garden and parking lot, beautifully designed and well-suited for large gatherings given the spacious space. The kitchen is open late. The pizza is thin, as is often the case in these parts, not Neapolitan. Prices are average, with some dishes slightly above average. Cover charge €2.50.

13/01/2026: I've been to this place before and had a great time. I went back this evening and the experience wasn't the best. The great appetizer and the truffle ravioli were very good. The tagliata arrived cold, most likely because they cooked it and left it there waiting to be brought to the table. We also wanted to order something else, and at 10:00 PM they told us the kitchen had already been cleaned. When we went to pay, they almost forced us to pay by card, and honestly, this attitude really bothered me.

27/01/2026: I waited a few days before posting this review to try to be as objective as possible. Let's start with the positives: the place is truly beautiful, perched on a green hill. I hate to write about everything else, but it's a disaster! Worst place I've been to in recent years. Non-existent service from someone who has nothing to do with the restaurant business and is definitely working in a different profession. No menu was presented to us, portions were ridiculous (the appetizers were presented for 6 people... absurd, 2 or 3 of us ate there, and we were really short... we had to reorder) and exorbitant prices, way out of line!!! Never again... Luckily, there are plenty of alternatives!

27/01/2026: Beautiful location in the characteristic olive oil mill on the top of a hill with a sea view and a garden. Available to seat a table of 11, 4 children (aged 5 to 10) and 7 adults, thrilled after visiting the Bali museum and seeing the olive oil mill machinery. From there on, it was a disaster... no information on the cost, the quantity of food was too small. We ordered platters for 6 again, plus another for 6, considering the children. It was also a shame that the starters were good: radicchio gnocchi, pumpkin ravioli, a bit lacking, and chicken skewers breaded with breadcrumbs, just about anything. They didn't even offer tagliatelle, which was available at other tables... a taste of oil was out of the question. Being in an olive oil mill... at least... I wouldn't recommend it. A SHAME.

31/12/2025: We had dinner there for New Year's Eve, à la carte. Everything was excellent: authentic cuisine, quick and very friendly service, and really reasonable prices. I recommend it!

27/12/2025: Biblical times, after half an hour we still hadn't had the chance to order and we had to leave

04/03/2026: It was summer, heavy smoke in the entire entrance hall due to the wood-fired oven, which has some extraction problems... you can't breathe the smoke, and it's harmful to your health. Very normal pizza, quite sweet for a pizza. Tiramisu rated 0. If there was a chef behind the kitchen, they would know very well that to make Italian tiramisu, you need fresh eggs, sugar, and fresh mascarpone/brandy and cocoa. But here you smell UHT long-life milk and an industrial substitute for mascarpone that I don't understand what it is, whether condensed milk or who knows what. What does it take to put a chef or a person who knows how to make a good dessert like tiramisu????!!!! Nothing, but much easier to sell a poor product that lasts who knows how to last for the same price as a quality one. Very nice place if only they had a different way of managing the restaurant. Good waiters.

23/10/2025: Loud music was coming from the kitchen, and in the dining room, other loud music was playing, and a television was playing. The young waitress seemed very unmotivated; she was busy on her cell phone, and the cappuccino was cold. Not recommended.
