I recommend it for traditional cuisine.
05/08/2025: It's been a long time since I've been here, and I was delighted to return to La Fagurida during a stay at Lake Como.
The place is magnificent.
The menu is very tempting and the dishes are very well prepared.
We went there two evenings.
The first we had the rabbit and tagliata. Perfect!
The second evening we tried the polenta uncia, delicious with the stewed beef and the fish of the day. We finished with the delicious crème caramel.
A very nice wine selection.
Charming service.

21/07/2025: MUHTEŞEM COMO GÖLÜ Deniz ürünlü makarna ve pizza söyledik. Makarna çok lezzetliydi. Pizzamızın altı biraz fazla yanmıştı yerken fark ettik ve hemen şikayetimizi dile getirdik. Restoran sahibi hem özür diledi hem de hemen yenisini yapalım dedi. Fakat biz istemedik. Böyle olunca Limonçello ve tatlı ikram edip gönlümüzü aldılar. Nezaketli yaklaşımlarından dolayı çok mutlu olduk..
15/07/2025: This was our eighth year at this romantic and well-maintained restaurant overlooking Lake Como. The owners take great care to welcome guests and make them feel pampered. The staff is truly wonderful. The lady who served our table was extremely attentive, explaining every single dish to us and always ready to accommodate our every need. You won't find such a waitstaff... The location is fantastic; you can enjoy the view in total relaxation and tranquility, as well as having the privacy for a romantic evening.
We chose the Darsena menu for €70 per person, absolutely well spent! Everything was excellent! High-quality ingredients and exquisite presentation.
Highly recommended!

La Terrazza

08/08/2025: There's no arguing about taste, but if you really want a good meal, visit La Locanda Tremezzo, a three-minute walk away. and this pasta carbonara (as well as the entire menu) is unparalleled.
04/08/2025: Nice atmosphere and views for dinner, but otherwise the whole experience is outdated and gimmicky - like fine dining in the 90s. The food itself was not remarkable, very hit or miss. Not entirely bad but we expected more given Gualtiero Marchesi’s legendary reputation. Several dishes were bland and lacked any depth of flavour, and some served lukewarm. If this were in any other location than Grand Hotel Tremezzo, there would be no appeal. Go for the setting more than the food, and only if you can get a table on the edge.

07/08/2025: The food was very good, but above all the service was very good. A rare thing in Italy.
05/08/2025: Had one of the worst meals here.
An absolute tourist trap with mediocre food. The zucchiniflower was overly battered, ok in taste. My pasta was on the al-dente side but somehow watery in taste.
The service was ok, but somehow intrusive and did not make you feel like a guest, but like a product.
Italian restaurants have usually a great value to money ratio, this place does not offer this. We paid more than 130 euro for one starter, and two main dishes (incl. one glass of red wine and some water).
I will never come back.... although the view is nice...but do yourself a favor, buy some local wine and just park next to it on the hill and enjoy the view.

09/04/2024: Un dîner parfait, si reposant après une longue route. Buffet d’antipasti où on a envie de tout prendre tellement tout est bon. Truite du lac grillée aux légumes braisés. Vin blanc italien léger. L’endroit surplombant le lac offre par ailleurs une vue magique!
