23/08/2024: We ate here six times in 14 days. The place is absolutely fantastic and the best we have tried along this side of Lake Como. Tasty food, reasonable portions, good wine and wonderful service. We will definitely be back

04/08/2024: A gem on Lago di Como: delicious food, including local specialities, in cozy restaurant tucked away in this little town. Lovely, set-back and shaded terrace with lake view. Above all: the owners, Linda & Mirko, are super friendly & passionate about what they do. Including for catering events! Linda planned a big celebration for me this summer on the Lake and I couldn’t have been happier: her attention to detail, the quality of the food and service, the personal touches, and all this always with a smile . Highly recommended!
14/07/2024: It's now customary for me, the location is fabulous, the food exquisite, the staff (from the owners to the service staff) always ready and available to satisfy every customer request, excellent choice of wines. Having lunch on the terrace overlooking the lake is enchanting. The prices are more than sustainable and the quality of the products served is commendable! I can't help but go back for the umpteenth time! A special applause to Linda and Mirko. See you soon

07/08/2024: Nice place, overlooking the sea of the port.
Friendly waiters.
But for the food and prices I wouldn't go back.
We spent €82 for:
- 1 starter of 3 mini tartares which were hot! Not really good;
- 1 fish first course, good;
- 1 fried fish with pieces of fish full of bones, 4 squid rings thrown in, 3 prawns, not even a small fish. Really poor and above all burnt, so much so that it was all bitter.
The waiting times were really long but there were problems with continuous blackouts in the area and so I want to think that they were due to that.
Furthermore, at the time of the check it took a very long time because there was a discussion with some foreign tourists who simply asked the classic question "is everything okay?" they dared to reply that they had suffered from the heat and had not liked the food very much. The attitude was truly unwelcoming, polite or professional.
Dear Patrizia, I am correcting my review to respond to you: you have never mentioned the blackout as the cause of the inconvenience. Also because I don't see the correlation in the temperature of the tartare or in the "richness" of the mixed fried food. For the prices you offer we expect much more, I'm sorry. I would have preferred you to tell me to come back another time, for example. It would definitely have been more professional and I would have gladly returned.
I conclude by just telling you that I am very respectful of the work you do, so much so that if you look I normally only write positive reviews, negative only when really necessary. Like her, I earn the money that I'm lucky enough to be able to spend out for dinner and wasting it on an experience like this really annoys me.
07/08/2024: The most unfortunate thing I have ever experienced
The staff and especially the room manager are horrible.
They had a problem with the light that the light went out every two times three (more than 20 times in an hour and a half)
We had to have dinner at 30 degrees with unbearable heat and listening to a very noisy generator that turned off every five minutes
Meal.
The tuna and shrimp tartar are good but the portion is ridiculous for €25
The popets fried balls are very bad, fried croquette dry and of poor quality, there are better frozen ones
The mediocre lobster pasta is good but I have had better, and I am 100% sure that the lobster was frozen, tasteless and dry
I paid the bill of €213.00 expecting some detail from him after dining in horribly hot weather, but nothing at all. I told them that the normal thing would be to apologize and have a detail with the clients, either inviting them to something like a dessert or a discount in account for being in a restaurant that is supposed to be good and getting a very low quality service while being hot.
The person in the room disrespected me by insulting me and laughing. I left so as not to have serious problems of any other kind. Luckily, behind me other people came to pay and I could hear them saying that I had the reaction. They told the metro to have respect since they thought the same

You may have problems but you have to know how to live up to it and this restaurant is very arrogant
