09/08/2025: I tried this restaurant while passing through Tuscany and was very pleasantly surprised. The waitress was very accommodating and took the time to translate the menu into English for us. The food was authentically delicious Italian and, at around €15 for a portion of pasta, a meat dish, and a salad, it was really good value. After the meal, we were offered an espresso, which was also very good. The atmosphere was very cozy and familiar, and you could tell that the restaurant is truly local and homely. All in all, it's definitely worth a visit. :)

31/07/2025: ⭐ Ristorante Il Pescatore – A Hidden Gem in Cala Gonone ⭐
This place is an absolute standout—possibly the best restaurant in Cala Gonone and certainly one of the most memorable meals we had in Sardinia.
Run by a local fisherman’s family, Il Pescatore offers both authentic charm and top-notch seafood. The service is warm and attentive; you immediately feel like a welcome guest rather than just another tourist.
We had the pasta with lobster (lobsters are made alive) in tomato sauce, and it was simply fantastic—perfectly cooked pasta, sweet tender lobster, and a rich sauce full of flavor. The spaghetti alle vongole (cooked in sea water!) was, without exaggeration, among the best in Sardinia—briny, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The grilled jumbo shrimp, shrimp and lobster combo, and oysters were all incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared.
The wine list is rich and thoughtful, with excellent regional options to complement the seafood.
The setting is a dream—overlooking the sea, with a spectacular view that adds magic to the whole experience. It’s the kind of place that feels underrated, perhaps because it’s so unassuming, but it deserves far more recognition.
📝 Tip: Reservations are a must. We waited about 30 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it.

10/07/2025: I already knew Le Vapore de Torno, but this restaurant is also a wonderful discovery! A small lunch menu for €18 includes a primo piatto and a secondo piatto, water and coffee included. Impeccable service, pleasant setting, and a small view of the lake. A place to remember!
28/06/2025: The Vapore restaurant is part of the Hotel of the same name and is located in the small village of Torno, on the road that connects Como to Bellagio.
The restaurant has a beautiful and romantic outdoor garden at lake level.
Unfortunately, when we were here, it had just rained that same morning and so we were unable to eat outside.
The interior of the restaurant is very well-kept and we spent a pleasant Sunday lunch here.
The menu offers mainly fish-based dishes, which are served in a refined manner and well-presented.
