24/05/2025: This was the best restaurant we went to when we stayed in Monterosso. It started off with amazing views that lead into an awesome experience from meeting the owner & chef. The food was OUTSTANDING. I had the florentine steak & my wife had the Pesto pasta. Both were incredible and then we finished the night off with the chocolate soufflé.
We called a taxi to go up but they took us back down, excellent service and highly recommend!
21/05/2025: Best service I’ve had in Italy. Owner picked us up from monterosso. The best views of cinque terra and great food. A must do here!

21/07/2025: Cozy, amazing food and a lovely waiter who made the experience even better.
21/07/2025: We booked this restaurant in the afternoon for the evening. When we arrived (on time), it seemed like they were expecting us and immediately seated us at our table. They even brought a bowl of water for the dog right away. The service was top notch!
A wide selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses, both meat and fish. We ordered both appetizers and first and second courses of fish and were very satisfied. I didn't have time to take photos of the dishes because they were so inviting.
It was a shame about the desserts, however, which were rather disappointing and way too expensive (€10). The wine selection was also good, but in my opinion it should be expanded given the excellent menu offered.
The bill was a bit higher than we expected.
Overall, however, we were satisfied with the evening.

22/05/2025: Pedí el Pansoti con salsa de pesto de albahaca que estaba delicioso, podría haber lamido el plato! Me sirvieron rápidamente y no tuve que esperar mucho tiempo para mi comida. El servicio era genial teniendo en cuenta que estaban luchando con las multitudes de excursión de un día. ¡Comería de nuevo!
13/05/2025: Vine a Italia de vacaciones con mi familia de América y cené aquí. La calidad de la comida era muy buena, especialmente la de los dos camareros, Roberto y Jiji. Nos trataron muy amablemente. Espero volver el año que viene. Le deseo todo lo mejor para su estancia en Ristorante Eli. ❣️❣️

15/07/2025: We are here two nights, the food is very good and there were soany options on the menu we needed to return a second time. Service was attentive without being over the top.
The Porcini mushroom rice dish (for 2 people) was just brilliant.
The wine is reasonably priced.
Plenty of food restaurants to try in Monterosso but this is definitely worth a visit.
13/07/2025: Pretty average experience. Food was OK, ordered the lasagna and beef tagliata. Not very good service. However, the atmosphere is nice. Plenty of seating, no need to reserve in advance.

15/06/2025: La cena de esta noche fue una experiencia realmente decepcionante que arruinó nuestra percepción de la hospitalidad italiana. El personal fue increíblemente grosero, e incluso nos sentimos humillados cuando se rompió un vidrio en mis manos. La respuesta arrogante y defensiva del camarero, diciéndonos que no era su problema, era inaceptable. Aconsejo encarecidamente a otros que eviten este restaurante a menos que disfrute de reglas de menú extrañas y un servicio deficiente.
La comida tampoco era tan especial como se anunciaba y sobreprecio.

14/07/2025: Amazing food and a must visit in Cinque Terre. Great waiters that know the menu and can beautifully described all the food and which ingredients where locally caught just in the sea and which were sourced from Italy. Amazing food
11/07/2025: We tried getting a table at the restaurants in the main street in the town but all were full and we happen to stumble upon this restaurant and it ended up being our favorite in Monterosso! The food was so delicious that after our first meal we ordered a second time. Portions were great and the waiter was excellent with his recommendations.

28/04/2025: Perfetto per una serata informale in un locale gradevolissimo. Cucina con chef eccellente e personale gentilissimo e simpatico. Cibo ottimo.

18/05/2025: Fuimos aquí por el tiramisú senza glutine. Se servía en el recipiente de plástico en el que se compraba. Sabía bien. Mi marido tenía el pastel de limón. Esto era todo lo que teníamos y nos cobraron un cargo de cobertura de 4 € en la parte superior de la factura. Esto fue muy decepcionante.

21/05/2025: Anoche tuvimos una muy mala experiencia aquí. Llamé y reservé una mesa para 6 personas para las 8 pm. La chica al teléfono dijo: "Es genial. Nos vemos entonces. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos nos dijeron que no había reserva. La chica recordó mi llamada, pero dijo que trató de llamarme para confirmar y no había respondido. Entiendo que esta podría ser la política para las reservas grandes, pero ella no me avisó en ese momento que iba a volver a llamar. Ella dijo: "¿Nos vemos a las 8 pm? Estábamos decepcionados. Comimos en otra parte. Sin embargo, volvimos más tarde y tratamos de reservar para esta noche, pero nos dijeron que no podían tomar una reserva para 6 personas. Nos ofrecimos a pagar un depósito, pero aún así dijeron que no. . obviamente, ahora no iremos. Su pérdida, pero este es un terrible servicio al cliente. Sé que son populares, pero nunca debes tratar mal a los clientes ya que son tu negocio 😒

04/05/2025: En fantastisk restaurant med en flott stemning. Vi var to par som bestilte forskjellige retter. Pasta med reker som var perfekt tilberedt. Biff som smeltet i munnen, risotto med sjømat og til sitt en klassiker pasta carbonara. Selv om restauranten fylte seg opp med gjester var det en rolig betjening som passet på at vi hadde det perfekte. Dette stede blir nok besøk igjen. Selv om det ikke hadde noe utsikt, vil jeg anbefale det et besøk.
04/05/2025: God og variert meny, god mat, men fullstendig kaos i serveringen. Vi bestilte 3 retter, fikk 2. siden de skulle stenge og ryddet lokalet mens vi satt der, så ba vi om regningen. Der ville de ha 20€ for den retten vi aldri fikk. Kelneren påsto at retten var klar til oss, men vi skjønte ikke var sant og ville ikke sitte der og spise mens de ryddet for kvelden. Den siste retten ble til slutt trukket fra regninga. Siden maten var god gikk vi dit for lunch dagen etter. Da satt vi i 40 minutter og ventet på drikke, det ble nesten komisk...mens servitørene gikk fram og tilbake forbi oss hele tida uten å bry seg. Attpåtil fikk vi regning på mere drikke enn vi hadde bestilt. Den ene servitøren skyldte på sine kollegaer, men han var ikke noe bedre sjøl!

14/05/2025: Normalerweise bewerte ich nur Restaurants in denen wir gute Erfahrungen gemacht haben, um die Leistung von Küche und Service wertzuschätzen. In diesem Fall muss ich leider eine Ausnahme machen, weil es bisher die schlechteste Erfahrung gewesen ist, die wir je gemacht haben.
Monterosso ist natürlich ein Ort, in dem viele Touristen unterwegs sind und einen freien Tisch zum Essen suchen, deshalb scheint sich das Personal und ebenso die Küche nicht um einen Gast zu bemühen, auf Stammgäste ist das Konzept ja auch nicht ausgelegt und die Trinkgelder sind auch gesichert, da sie gleich mit auf der Rechnung stehen, wir aber gerne bei gutem Essen und freundlichem Personal noch zusätzlich Trinkgeld geben. Der Kellner wirkte völlig lustlos, hat uns mit einer Geste einen Tisch zugewiesen, auf unsere Begrüßung gar nicht reagiert. Auf eine freundliche Bitte, uns Salz zu bringen, wurde zwar signalisiert, dass man es uns bringt, das war es dann aber leider auch. Mein Mann ist nach 10 Minuten selbst nach drinnen ins Lokal gegangen und hat eine Kellnerin um Salz gebeten, die ihm einen Salzstreuer gegeben hat, da war das geschmacklose Tagliata Manzone leider schon kalt, schade.
23/02/2025: Tres déçu repas composée de fruits de mers congelés , accueil austère , mauvaise ambiance , tarifs pas adéquation avec la qualité ! Je ne renouvelerai pas l'expérience
