24/09/2025: Pleasant in the evening despite the lack of view due to the fact that it was dark, the dishes are good. However, there was a long wait between courses, we left before dessert because of the wait in the cold even though we were the last table. The knives were not suitable for shellfish, you had to attack with your fingers but there were no finger bowls.

24/11/2025: A lot of restaurants in Monterosso were closed when we went and this is one of the only ones that’s open that’s at least 4/5 so we gave it a shot.
Staff were super friendly and kind. Food was good but the seafood spaghetti was on the salty side. The fried mixed seafood was on point though! Not salty at all, crispy, well cooked inside! The two dishes balanced each other out.
Their tiramisu was to die for!!! Would go back there just for that.
They were pet friendly and kid friendly too. They had a baby chair for our daughter.

27/10/2025: Ely has been our "pizza night" place for years and we really enjoy it. Occasionally we have other things and this year we had one of their pasta daily specials, a ravioli perhaps with truffle and burrata (sorry it was 1 1/2 months ago)……omg, it was so amazing. Though it is no longer on the menu, we also appreciated them making the mussels in white wine and lemon.

31/01/2026: Everything was Special. Fresh, made to order and tastefull. Service impeccable. Good quality of food. Nice ambiance. I loved when the cook (owner) scream « Calamari Ciak » when its ready. La scarpetta makes it more delicious. I recommand this restaurant when in Monterrosso.❣️❣️

08/10/2025: We went here our first night after a very stressful day of travel.The food was just Okay. My husband who is not fussy thought it was kinda a tourist trap. Maybe my least favorite meal In Monterosso. There are so many options available so don’t bother.

26/07/2025: Ristorante pizzeria in una via un po fuori dal centro di monterosso con un menù a base di pesce e qualche altro piatto ed è pure pizzeria.
Ho mangiato una insalata di polipo eccezionale gustosa e abbondante accompagnata da una vellutata di patate buonissima.
Poi trofie con pesto e patate veramente buone.
Peccato per le cozze ripiene da cui mi aspettavo di più in quanto si sentiva solo il ripieno molto abbondante e le cozze così sono sparite. Peccato perché avrei dato volentieri il punteggio più alto

22/07/2025: Muy buena comida Recomiendo la pasta pesto - sin embargo, tenga en cuenta que el hombre de pie fuera del restaurante con sus gatos tratando de que las mujeres vayan a su lugar diciéndoles que puede cocinar para ellos. Realmente no me sentí el más seguro. . Fue un poco incómodo porque se quedó al lado de la cena al aire libre todo el tiempo.

13/10/2025: I had booked Friday 10/10 for Sunday 12/10 for a day in Monterosso. The owner or someone on his behalf told me, "Don't worry, we're in low season and there's no crowds." I'll leave my last name and cell phone number. On Sunday 12/10 we arrived for lunch and, to our disbelief, there was a note on the restaurant door saying they were closed due to a technical problem. It's okay that a problem could arise, but if you have reservations and you know you can't keep them with the contact details, it might be better to call to let them know what happened. Or, it's only the customer's obligation to call if they cancel. I'm sorry, but the problem was finding a place in other restaurants since we're in low season and there's no crowds. If we wanted to have lunch, we settled for a bit of focaccia and ate standing up.
24/09/2025: Very disappointing. Exactly 6 ravioli on the plate; we didn't taste the truffle. Not a bad dish, but €55 for 2 people and leaving on an empty stomach... I absolutely do not recommend it.

14/05/2025: Normalerweise bewerte ich nur Restaurants in denen wir gute Erfahrungen gemacht haben, um die Leistung von Küche und Service wertzuschätzen. In diesem Fall muss ich leider eine Ausnahme machen, weil es bisher die schlechteste Erfahrung gewesen ist, die wir je gemacht haben.
Monterosso ist natürlich ein Ort, in dem viele Touristen unterwegs sind und einen freien Tisch zum Essen suchen, deshalb scheint sich das Personal und ebenso die Küche nicht um einen Gast zu bemühen, auf Stammgäste ist das Konzept ja auch nicht ausgelegt und die Trinkgelder sind auch gesichert, da sie gleich mit auf der Rechnung stehen, wir aber gerne bei gutem Essen und freundlichem Personal noch zusätzlich Trinkgeld geben. Der Kellner wirkte völlig lustlos, hat uns mit einer Geste einen Tisch zugewiesen, auf unsere Begrüßung gar nicht reagiert. Auf eine freundliche Bitte, uns Salz zu bringen, wurde zwar signalisiert, dass man es uns bringt, das war es dann aber leider auch. Mein Mann ist nach 10 Minuten selbst nach drinnen ins Lokal gegangen und hat eine Kellnerin um Salz gebeten, die ihm einen Salzstreuer gegeben hat, da war das geschmacklose Tagliata Manzone leider schon kalt, schade.

03/05/2025: Ottima pizza, ottimo locale e ottimo servizio. Ho trovato i colori stupendi dell’interno del locale, il personale molto cordiale e gentile. Se passo da Monterosso tornerò a mangiare qui.
28/04/2025: Perfetto per una serata informale in un locale gradevolissimo. Cucina con chef eccellente e personale gentilissimo e simpatico. Cibo ottimo.
