18/10/2025: We discovered this restaurant on the recommendation of Cristina (from B&B Trucch)i and we were not disappointed.
For our last evening in Italy, we decided to try some completely unknown local dishes:
the BRANDACUJUN, made with potatoes, cod, and fresh parsley, absolutely melting and delicious, and the TOMINO, a very creamy sheep's milk cheese on a bed of caramelized red onions, a true delight.
All washed down with another local wine, the Pigato de... (I forgot the ending), a very smooth white wine without being sweet.
For desserts, we returned to classics, but with a twist: the pannacotta with dulce de leche and salt crystals and the chocolate mousse with cream.
In short, for anyone who thinks Italian cuisine is all about pizza and pasta, this is a great place to try something different.
11/10/2025: A very good restaurant in Ventimiglia. Located in an alley behind the market.
For us, it's the best in Ventimiglia. The atmosphere is very friendly, the service is impeccable, and the food is very, very good and creative. The menu isn't extensive, but it's adequate. There are dishes that never change, like the vongole, and then there are creations like the breaded soft-boiled egg with Talegio cream and focaccia croutons...a marvel.
We are never disappointed and love going there.
Thank you for all the great times at your restaurant, and keep delighting us.

26/08/2025: This time, I found the seafood menu a bit limited. The appetizers were excellent (I tried the tasting menu).
I was a bit disappointed by the linguine with clams and bottarga, both because of the almost nonexistent bottarga and, more importantly, because of the fragments of broken clam shells that almost caused me problems. The service was professional and the location was always charming.
Prices were above average.

12/09/2025: Well, it's a wine shop! You'll find a nice selection of good wines! Then, if you want, they have a good 20 seats where you can find really good, well-made wines. It was a great surprise. Try it.
21/08/2025: A real gem, Mirko and Sara always offer a smile and top-notch service! I recommend trying the tagliolini al consiero, superb. This place is perfect for aperitifs, lunch, or dinner. A guarantee!

02/10/2025: Run away!! They're thieves.
We went to this pizzeria for lunch with several colleagues.
The service was fine, but the problem came when it came to the bill.
For a pizza that was listed at €10, I was charged €15 at the cash register.
The worst part was that when I simply asked the elderly lady at the cash register for an explanation, she erased the screen and asked me to pay. She complained, got impatient, etc.
In the end, these good restaurant owners charged me €10 for the pizza + €3 for the mushroom supplement (it's expensive, but okay, I asked for an extra) and, more importantly, €2 to replace the tomato sauce with crème fraîche (😂 that's a lot for a spoonful of cream).
I should have asked you to subtract the tomato sauce 😂
Out of the five of us, three had this kind of disappointment when it came to the bill.
So, dear madam, instead of getting annoyed, take the time to better train your staff and have the decency to simply warn the customer when ordering. You will save a lot of time.
19/09/2025: They're all childish and stepchildish; if you're in line to pay, they'll let the guy behind you go because he's their friend. The much-vaunted pizza isn't what I'm satisfied with. The only positive thing is the very kind and fast staff.

13/10/2025: We stopped at Geppy’s Bistrot for lunch while passing through Ventimiglia, and I’m really glad we did. It’s just a short walk from the train station, but once you're inside, it feels calm, modern, and quietly elegant — a bit of a hidden gem.
The lunch menu was small but thoughtful. I had a ravioli dish that was fresh and beautifully balanced — not heavy, but still full of flavour. Portions weren’t huge, but just right for a midday meal, especially if you’re continuing your day afterwards. Everything felt well-prepared and seasonal, and the plating had that nice attention to detail without being overdone.
Service was friendly but discreet, and we appreciated how relaxed the atmosphere was — not rushed, not loud, just a comfortable pace. It’s the kind of place where you can actually enjoy your food and maybe linger a bit with a coffee or glass of wine.
If you’re in Ventimiglia and want something better than a quick bite but not overly formal, I’d absolutely recommend it for lunch. It’s a quiet, quality break from the bustle of travel.

01/07/2025: Helt grusomt , atmosfæren var elendig, pizzaen var Vassen ,smakløs og våt. Betjening kunne mest trolig ikke engelsk og kommuniserte dårlig. Vi fikk mer oppmerksomhet av myggen enn servitørene. Anbefales ikke.

08/06/2025: Totalmente fantástico: la comida, el ambiente y los camareros eran todos de primera categoría y valen más que el precio cobrado por una experiencia inolvidable. No estoy seguro de por qué cualquier huésped encontraría algún defecto con el restaurante, pero hemos cenado en algunos de los mejores resorts del mundo y La Terazza del Hotel Splendido es una delicia epicúrea con un servicio atento, cortés y amable. Es un elegante menú clásico de Liguria con elegancia y estilo del viejo mundo.

Alguien o bastante a menudo más de uno pedirá el plato fenomenal Conejo — ¿Hizo que las almejas Vongole hoy se ejecutaran perfectamente permitiendo que las almejas sean la estrella del plato
Siempre es divertido ver a los clientes tener allí primero probar y luego compartir que con otros este es uno de esos lugares donde sus papilas gustativas son muy felices
