06/05/2026: Visited for a wedding reception. It's certainly a curious place of considerable historical interest. Home to the monks whose hydraulic works reclaimed the surrounding land and made farming possible for centuries. It's also home to the accordion museum.
05/05/2026: We ended up here by chance. We didn't expect much more from it than a place to sleep and have breakfast during our trip to Tuscany.
But what a lovely place. The village is nice. The surroundings aren't particularly special, but the hotel is top-notch. Highly recommended.

23/04/2026: First time at Il Torchio pizzeria: well done! The pizza is delicious and there's a wide selection. The staff is very kind and professional, and you can see their attention to customer service and their commitment to managing the dining room.
We also liked the traditional atmosphere. We'll be back!
