25/03/2024: Very nice place. Everyone very kind. I don't understand the choice to offer fish dishes in the center of Bologna, overall however good dishes, nothing exceptional. Preferable place for drinks in my opinion.

01/03/2024: I ask if they make wholemeal pizzas and the waiter tells me no and then makes a joke to someone at the table that wholemeal pizza makes no sense because it's like raw beer! His job is not to comment on customer requests since he doesn't even know the medical reasons why certain requests are made. Absolutely unprofessional, plus the environment is squalid.

25/02/2024: I attended their "Murder Dinner". We had great fun; the actors are particularly engaging, friendly and professional. However, the fixed menu was to my liking. Staff at the Zia Catarì restaurant were friendly and helpful. Truly a pleasant evening. To be repeated if they had to reorganize.

05/05/2024: Fantastic staff, really too expensive for a good but not great offer, I don't think I will return. Cozy, small, romantic, particular place. But the staff…. Exceptional!♥️ I'm sorry not to return due to their skill and friendliness.

20/10/2023: This is not your typical hotel restaurant. First class service and menu selections. The wine list is vast and the staff very helpful. We enjoyed dinner here twice during our stay and it was consistently excellent. We highly recommend this location for dinner. Enjoy !

06/01/2024: We went for a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner, we didn't know the place so for us it was a leap in the dark but instead it was a pleasant discovery we ate à la carte everything was excellent at midnight they offered us a prosecco panettone pandoro dried fruit cotechino and lentils fireworks. . What can I say...thanks for the pleasant evening, as soon as I return to Bologna I will come and eat with you.

30/12/2023: Very nice pasta with lobster and tagliatelle bolognese! The staff can be improved a bit, but still nice The boss is really great person! The location is excellent, especially if you are coming from somewhere with the train, feeling tired, to stop by and enjoy your food!

06/04/2024: A classic restaurant, with Bolognese cuisine. I loved the large choice of gluten-free first courses and I really liked the tagliatelle with meat sauce I chose. Starters and desserts not unforgettable but good, especially the parmigiana and tiramisu. Service varies on the presentation of the dishes, but always friendly. I would return to try the other starters.

05/04/2024: Unfortunately you can't give less than one star. To forget, shame on you, searched on TripAdvisor with good reviews and accredited on the AiC site, having a celiac with me I think I'm on the safe side by booking there. He took two Bolognese cutlets, decidedly not Bolognese-style since they were full of cream and they had forgotten the ham, two baked potatoes and a baby spinach. The quality of the food was definitely not up to the bill or even just the location of the restaurant. The thing that angered me the most and made me write this review is that, apart from the bread, the celiac food was not gluten-free, I don't know if it was contaminated or the result of wrong orders, but the boy who was with me was terrible , so much so that we risked calling an ambulance and ruined our evening. In an accredited venue this is something that shouldn't happen because it risks people's health, and for a few extra pennies I don't think it's worth it. Don't be fooled by positive reviews probably written ad hoc like I did. To be absolutely avoided, they poison people.

06/03/2024: Sono stato a pranzo con un amico e abbiamo mangito pizza. Molto buona. Peccato che il locale fosse vuoto, forse si riempie più tardi, non lo so. So che sicuramente merita una visita.

03/04/2024: We had lunch here on Easter Monday. The service was efficient and fast. Excellent homemade pasta, I recommend the tagliatelle with ragù and the cappelletti. Good wine, fresh and genuine desserts. The location is perfect, you can park well nearby and after your meal you can easily reach the center by walking. Alternatively you can immerse yourself in the green hills.

07/04/2024: Let's start by saying what a trattoria is! The trattoria is a public establishment, mainly popular, typically Italian, intended for the sale and consumption of meals on site. Some of these establishments may be renowned and sought after for the quality of the food and for the characterization of the preparations, almost always local-regional cuisine. The cheapness of the prices charged is an attraction of these places which is matched by greater simplicity in the service and furnishings, sometimes also in the quality of the raw materials, but not in the quantity of the food offered! Having said that, let's start talking about this restaurant: Upon entering it looks like a small restaurant but with the owners who welcome you it seems that you are in a familiar environment... the menu is divided into 6/7 choices of starters, 8 first courses and equally second courses! I am not very satisfied with the type of menu presented! Maybe I was expecting something more (thinking it was a real trattoria)! We decide to take only the first courses as the appetizers already in reading do not satisfy us (perhaps we were expecting purely trattoria appetizers since they should be) but when we asked for a platter of typical cold cuts and cheeses we were politely told that we could only order chemo which was written on the menu (so no chopping board). The choice of wines was beautiful and interesting, because after ordering the first courses and explaining the type of wine we wanted to drink, we were given three types of wines with (accurate) descriptions and prices. Let's go to the actual lunch: we took tagliatelle with ragù for the children which were very good, for 3 adults we took pasta with octopus and asparagus (there wasn't much choice other than Bolognese ragù) and another person took pasta with tomato sauce with buffalo ricotta... starting by saying that only 2 dishes with octopus and asparagus arrived and not 3 (forgetfulness since he hadn't marked the order but kept everything in mind), those that arrived were a little ahead of cooking, especially the one with tomato and buffalo ricotta. The other missing dish arrived after about 10 minutes (the cooking time of the pasta), but this time far behind in cooking. I always say better than al dente, but this one was way behind! It doesn't matter anyway it was eaten and paid for! In my opinion the prices were perhaps a little high if it weren't for the quality of what we ate (the bread was excellent but with €3 cover charge per person it had to be). I had high expectations given the reviews! Maybe we've had a bad day! But next time I will definitely look for a restaurant of this name!
