25/04/2025: Locale grande e accogliente a pochi passi dal santuario e dall'anfiteatro di Pompei.
Quanto al cibo: discreto l'antipasto misto, con nota positiva per la mozzarella.
Non particolarmente buoni gli gnocchi alla Sorresorrentina, e nemmeno i fusilli con pomodoro e melanzane. Meglio gli scialatielli al profumo di mare, sebbene un po' troppo oleosi.
Discreta la cotoletta.
Adeguato il conto.
In definitiva, cibo da mensa a prezzo da mensa.
Insomma, può andare.
23/04/2025: Il pranzo e l'esperienza più bella di tutto il viaggio. Si sa che la Campania è piena di gente accogliente, festaiola e tanto generosa e Roberto è sicuramente tra queste persone. Ci ha accolto e intrattenuto in maniera impeccabile, divertendoci e raccontandoci della sua terra. Ogni portata è stata perfetta, oltre ogni aspettativa. Tutti i prodotti sono di altissima qualità e ogni piatto è stato preparato con passione e amore, come in pochissimi posti fanno ai giorni d'oggi. Tutto è stato perfetto ma la cosa che più ci ha lasciato senza parole è stata la torta con ricotta e pera. Da anni vado a sperimentare tanti ristoranti Gourmet e posso dire che questo dolce non ha nulla da togliere (anzi è anche meglio) rispetto a molti dolci che ho assaggiato. Ripeto, fantastica esperienza a tutto tondo. Andateci assolutamente.

13/10/2024: Empresa familiar con comida increíble y excelente servicio. Comimos anchoas, flores rellenas de calabacín y ensalada caprese para empezar. Seguido de los involtini de pez espada y berenjena, los ñoquis de marisco, el risotto y la lingüina de calabacín. Cada plato era fabuloso y no podíamos haber pedido un mejor servicio. Nuestra mejor comida hasta ahora desde que hemos estado en el área de Nápoles.
06/10/2024: Wurden vom Chef des Lokals eingeladen hier zu essen, nachdem er uns seinen Parkplatz gegeben hat, damit wir die Ausgrabungen besichtigen können! Nach der Rückkehr haben wir dann in seinem Lokal gegessen: hervorragende Gerichte, sehr nettes Service, Preis/Leistung hat in etwa gestimmt, billig war es nicht!

11/05/2025: Total disappointment. We had booked in advance for Mother's Day, but that morning they called us to tell us that, due to a staff error, the place was full and there was no more room for us. Unacceptable, especially on such an important day, when you organize yourself in advance just to avoid problems. No real apology, no alternative proposal. Poor management and a lack of respect towards customers. We will not return.
09/05/2025: At Zi' Catarina they have a great selection of good food and drinks. Service a bit slow and confused. The atmosphere is good. Prices are decent. Service should improve.

07/01/2025: We spent New Year's Eve in this restaurant. The place is practically a closed veranda with sheets from which drafts pass through, my feet were frozen all evening. As for the food, the starters were decent, the first paccheri with seafood ragù, the ragù good, the paccheri overcooked (and you need some to overcook the paccheri!), the second first course, champagne risotto was tasteless completely without salt and above all without Champagne!
The second course was a good sea bream fillet but the potatoes on top were raw.
Good but frozen apple pie, but the thing that really left me stunned were the lentils, the large ones from discount stores, dry, mushy, completely without salt, unpresentable and inedible, in fact everyone left them.
On a positive note, the service, the girls are kind and polite
I don't think we will return to this restaurant again
01/01/2025: A delightful New Year's Eve in Pompeii How can we not leave an excellent review for this place, where we were truly welcomed like family members without neglecting professionalism, accompanied by good music as soon as we arrived Antonio, one of the owners, immediately welcomed us like family members, the super active staff, but the jewel in the crown was Gianluca the Chef, also one of the owners who delighted and pampered us with his splendid and tasty fish-based cuisine, all fresh, cooked to perfection but with flavors above many other places in Pompeii, highly recommended. Well done guys, I can only recommend everyone to taste your delicacies. THE TOP of cuisine, hospitality, cleanliness, elegance and professionalism. Well done. Well done..

29/08/2024: Visité aquí en mi primer día de un viaje de una semana, regresé 3 veces más esa semana. El servicio es muy rápido y la señora mayor que parece ser el propietario es muy amable y encantador. La comida es realmente a un precio razonable y absolutamente delicioso. El entorno del patio es precioso y después de una semana no encontré ningún lugar tan encantador para sentarme y disfrutar de una comida y unas copas.

11/03/2025: I would like to point out that for some strange reason the review was published about two years later.
We went to Hortus for a quick lunch yesterday. The welcome is top notch, they are all friendly and nice, as well as professional, but what went over the top is the quality and flavor of the food: as in an ancient Neapolitan tavern, you can find almost forgotten flavours, excellent Campania products, both produced and from the land, and dishes prepared in an impeccable way. In addition to what you can see in the photo, we tasted the "broccoli and sausage" pasta (I don't remember the name they gave it)... sublime.

05/06/2025: Pleasant environment in the shade, hidden from the strong sun.
We were welcomed by a nicely groomed waiter. He took care of us throughout our visit. He was interested in whether we liked the food, he was polite, helpful and communicative.
The food was very tasty, I recommend visiting this restaurant.

13/05/2025: My partner and I went to the Ristorante Turistico di Pompei after visiting the archaeological excavations. The decision to stop was influenced by the availability of a paid parking lot nearby and the courtesy of the staff at the entrance, who offered us a 10% discount on the receipt to eat in the restaurant.
However, the culinary experience was not the best. In particular, I was disappointed by the excessively high price compared to what was offered. Not having seen the menu before ordering, we relied on the waiter's advice.
The aperitif we ordered included 2 Coca Cola, a focaccia and a mix of cold cuts and cheeses. The price seemed disproportionate to me compared to the quality and quantity of the food and drinks. I did not find adequate value for the price paid.
Considering the strategic position of the restaurant, frequented mainly by tourists, I expected a more competitive and transparent offer in terms of prices.
12/05/2025: Best place if you want to grab a quick bite and visit the archeological site.
If the weather is nice it is advisable to sit in the “garden”.
Food is good, toilets clean, staff friendly and funny….
