It's unacceptable to wait that long hungry, only to be completely forgotten. When the entree arrived after a long wait, it was raw, not even al dente, and tasteless. 21/04/2026: In a time when food quality is increasingly declining and every pizzeria or restaurant I've ever patronized is significantly downgrading their products, "Il Rugantino" has maintained top-quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. I'd particularly like to mention the pizza, which has such a tender dough and such a delicious crust that it makes any other place's pizzas look like the fake ones they use in Hollywood movies that actors pretend to eat. Pasquale is a highly respected man and an honorary Frank Sinatra!

26/12/2025: I went to Christmas lunch with my family, knowing the place and its good reputation well. Unfortunately, I can't say as many positive things this time, especially considering the standard we've grown accustomed to. The set menu was €60, a paltry sum that didn't match the quality offered. A rich and varied appetizer that ended up being tasteless due to the different flavors plated on the same plate, not to mention the citrus-flavored roast turkey, which was actually a low-quality cold cut with a tiny piece of orange for decoration. The bocconcino... the worst I've ever eaten, yet the mozzarella is good, a must-try in our area. The pancetta and cheese were subpar. The pacchero alla pescatrice was washed-out and bland. The lasagna was the only dish that stood out, good and delicate. The owner of the restaurant was sitting with us for lunch... so I think he's fully aware of what he's been doing for his guests... especially because when it came to the bill, he didn't even ask us how we'd eaten. It was truly a lunch to forget, and I'm not kidding, for that price, we certainly would have eaten better at a farmhouse...

The quality of the food is undeniably high: the use of carefully selected, top-quality ingredients is clearly evident.

05/07/2025: Friendly staff. Hidden prices, no menu. Unpleasant surprise, very expensive bill 80 euros in Naples with 2 first courses of porcini mushrooms, appetizer of 3 canapés with aubergines at the price (from the receipt) of 14 euros, 1 buffalo mozzarella, half a litre of house wine, served in a carafe. All the dishes offered were off the menu, justifying that the opening for lunch was extraordinary linked to an event, which is why there was no menu available.
