01/05/2026: The food at Villa la Collinetta is fabulous! We celebrated our wedding on May 18, 2024, and despite the rain, the staff was exceptional in preparing the decorations and the appetizers in the outdoor area. Our guests were all delighted with both the food and the organization. If there were an opportunity for a sixth star, I would give it for the great attention the kitchen pays to allergies and intolerances. Highly recommended, also for the quality/price ratio! Everything was perfect!

26/12/2025: I went to Christmas lunch with my family, knowing the place and its good reputation well. Unfortunately, I can't say as many positive things this time, especially considering the standard we've grown accustomed to. The set menu was €60, a paltry sum that didn't match the quality offered. A rich and varied appetizer that ended up being tasteless due to the different flavors plated on the same plate, not to mention the citrus-flavored roast turkey, which was actually a low-quality cold cut with a tiny piece of orange for decoration. The bocconcino... the worst I've ever eaten, yet the mozzarella is good, a must-try in our area. The pancetta and cheese were subpar. The pacchero alla pescatrice was washed-out and bland. The lasagna was the only dish that stood out, good and delicate. The owner of the restaurant was sitting with us for lunch... so I think he's fully aware of what he's been doing for his guests... especially because when it came to the bill, he didn't even ask us how we'd eaten. It was truly a lunch to forget, and I'm not kidding, for that price, we certainly would have eaten better at a farmhouse...

30/03/2026: A delightful culinary experience with the daily menu. Dishes reminiscent of our traditional cuisine, using quality ingredients. Behind every dish, you can sense the passion of the person who prepared it. A charming and informal place... cleanliness reigns supreme, even in the restrooms. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. Compliments for everything. Highly recommended 👍👌

We had lunch today, four of us, in a warm and comfortable room where we enjoyed delicious pasta and tender meat. The prices matched the food and service. Compliments to all the staff. 08/05/2026: Vovo Pacomio is already a firm favourite in Caserta, popular for events and evenings as well as aperitifs and dinners. The spaces are meticulously maintained, with welcoming interiors and a wonderful internal garden. The atmosphere is warm, the furnishings are meticulously designed, and the food is delicious! We also experienced it in a different way, choosing it for our wedding, and it exceeded every expectation. Organizing a wedding for more than 100 people requires impeccable management, guaranteed by the professionalism of the Setaro family. Special compliments to Michael for his genuine customer service and availability.

Unpleasant surprise, very expensive bill 80 euros in Naples with 2 first courses of porcini mushrooms, appetizer of 3 canapés with aubergines at the price (from the receipt) of 14 euros, 1 buffalo mozzarella, half a litre of house wine, served in a carafe. All the dishes offered were off the menu, justifying that the opening for lunch was extraordinary linked to an event, which is why there was no menu available.

21/04/2026: In a time when food quality is increasingly declining and every pizzeria or restaurant I've ever patronized is significantly downgrading their products, "Il Rugantino" has maintained top-quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. I'd particularly like to mention the pizza, which has such a tender dough and such a delicious crust that it makes any other place's pizzas look like the fake ones they use in Hollywood movies that actors pretend to eat. Pasquale is a highly respected man and an honorary Frank Sinatra!

29/05/2026: Overall this place is an easy crowd pleaser. You can order anything on their menu and you can rest assured knowing that it's going to be delicious. They sat our party of 6 inside. The outside seating seems to be more used at night, when the sun isn't so aggressive. They were very helpful, and even speak a decent amount of English for those of us who can't speak Italian. The chianti braised beef, a new item on their menu, was everyone's favorite, so I must recommend it. It was so good I had to order the lamb next, which was also cooked perfectly. It's Italy, so of course the pasta and pizza were delicious as well. This is a must go location.
