12/01/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in due, un antipasto, due primi e un secondo. Pagato tanto per avere pesce non fresco ma surgelato. Purtroppo esperienza deludente.
09/01/2025: A fish restaurant that seats just over 20 in winter as it cannot take advantage of the external veranda. The food is decent but I wouldn't recommend the starter as it didn't convince me much. Better to focus on the varied and tasty fish first courses and the grilled meat, which is plentiful, excellent and well cooked. Very good frying. Having not drunk alcohol or taken a full meal, the price, brought up precisely by the only part of the menu that I didn't like, is slightly unjustified!

18/11/2024: Pizzeria nello stile di una volta, sul lungomare di Scilla. Ambiente rilassato e familiare, ottima accoglienza, menù ricco di proposte. Buona la pizza Margherita. Quello che mi ha convinto di più, però, è stato il rapporto qualità-prezzo: per una pizza Margherita, una birra alla spina piccola, una bottiglietta d'acqua minerale, un gelato Cucciolone e il coperto, solo 10,50 euro, scontati a 10 (v. scontrino in fotografia). Credo che da anni non spendo questa cifra per uscire a mangiare una pizza! Da tornarci

13/01/2025: One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in.
I would recommend it to anyone, tourist or local.
The place is very nice, tidy, well furnished and with a wonderful view.
It is structured on several levels, between a platform overlooking the sea and a top floor terrace overlooking the sea and all of Scilla.
Obviously the menu is almost entirely fish-based and it is all excellent.
We ordered a seafood appetizer consisting of 6 different tastings, easily divisible for 2 people.
Followed by two first courses: trofie with seafood and paccheri with swordfish with olives and capers.
All very good.
The staff is very kind and very professional.
I recommend booking about a week in advance to have the chance to occupy one of the best tables on the terrace, attached to the railing.
02/11/2024: Overall, pretty disappointing. We waited over 40 minutes for the food to arrive. They clearly had more tables than they could handle. The food itself was not bad, but it was pretty average and the portions were quite small. The salad was especially disappointing, it was literally just a bit of lettuce and they brought a bottle of olive oil to season it with. The restaurant also only had one bathroom for which there was a line the whole time we were there. At the end, they rounded down our cheque from 62 to 60 euros, which was a nice gesture.

27/12/2024: The staff speaks English, and that's where the advantages end. Most menu items are unavailable. The waiting time for the meal is excruciatingly long. The waitress constantly confuses orders and tables.
A place where you can stop by for a glass of wine and appetizers. The rest didn't work out for them today.
The only thing that saved the situation was the view and the interior.

Tutto perfetto.
Stanze pulite, nuove, accoglienti e confortevoli, con una vista da perdere il fiato.
Ristorante eccezionale.

01/01/2025: Premetto subito che è stato riconosciuto l'inconveniente con relative scuse ma quando va a monte un pranzo di Capodanno servono a poco. Ho percorso circa 180 km per arrivare al locale. Ordinato un antipasto misto, decisamente insignificante per il prezzo richiesto..... per non parlare del primo, filei al pesto di pistacchio con vongole, rimandato subito indietro insapore, scotto, senza sale, vongole messe a mo di decoro completamente fredde. Le scuse in questi casi servono a poco, il titolare avrebbe dovuto tirare le orecchie al personale di cucina per aver presentato un primo non saltato in padella con le vongole ma messe sopra completamente fredde. Non ho reclamato per la frittura pessjma di mio figlio perché mi sembrava di inferire troppo.... sarebbe il caso di rivedere qualcosa con il personale di cucina.

Abbiamo provato tre volte per giungere alla conclusione che è meglio un panino in autogrill,.

09/02/2025: I don't recommend it. All the staff spoke English except one person who served us. Food dry and underseasoned. The staff kept looking at us and making comments under their breath. The menu includes Limoncello, which was nowhere near the real thing. I don't recommend it to anyone

13/08/2024: Mare e lido stupendo. Ma il ristorante e da evitare non tanto per il cibo ma per il servizio. Ragazzi non preparati per il servizio a tavola e cucina lentissima. Mi hanno portato l'ordine dopo due ore per due fritture. Nei tavoli si lamentavano tutti.
07/08/2024: devo dire che il cibo è veramente ottimo,per non parlare del personale…dai camerieri ai parcheggiatori veramente eccezionali educati e gentilissimi,non ho trovato nessun difetto spero vivamente di ritornarci al più presto

05/10/2024: L'osteria tende a darsi un'aria da ristorante ma senza riuscirci con un risultato che non rientra in nessuna delle due categorie. Abbiamo preso 2 taglieri che non fanno onore ai salumi calabri, i primi senza infamia e senza lode.
30/09/2024: Personale poco qualificato e scarsa qualità degli ingredienti.
Dopo aver pagato il conto un cameriere ci ha chiesto se avessimo voluto un amaro.
Prima di andar via mi ha fermato e mi ha chiesto di pagare gli amari.
Quindi cercate di chiedere se la gente vuole un amaro prima di portare il conto e no far credere che li venga offerto.
