15/09/2025: There are few places where I eat well when I go down to Reggio and the surrounding area. Especially where there's continuity and the food is consistently good, La Sosta is one of them. Where you sit down, order, and know everything will be fine. We ordered two appetizers and two sandwiches, and everything was excellent. Add to that the fantastic service, the unique atmosphere, and good music, and you have the perfect recipe.

18/09/2025: Very friendly staff lady. Prices were good and enjoyed the typical food from this area. Would pass by again! Wouldn’t recommend the tiramisu as this wasn’t homemade. I’d suggest to go for another dish.

01/10/2025: We dressed up and wanted to go out for a delicious meal. The restaurant looked really inviting. We were seated straight away. At first we weren't thirsty and they gave us a bottle of water which we didn't want, which earned us a disparaging look. Then a new waiter came and gave us another bottle of water which we once again emphasized we didn't want. Annoyed, he walked away. The third waiter took our order for pizza with bresaola and salad with buffalo. There were noticeably a lot of waiters in this restaurant, everyone was doing something different and that unfortunately ruined our peace of mind. The pizza itself was delicious, no question about it, great crust, great tomato sauce but the buffalo - I don't know, it's sooooo small you have to search for it. What a shame! I was allowed to season the salad myself. I would have loved a great dressing like orange or balsamic vinegar or honey mustard or a fruity vinaigrette or something unusual. You are served a small amuse-bouche: dough balls fried in quite a lot of fat. We didn't like it. Especially since it was served in special paper bowls, and the bread was also served in special paper bags. Why not serve it on a plate or bread basket for the sake of sustainability? A complete waste. Unfortunately, our glass wasn't clean either; a thread from the cleaning cloth or polishing cloth was still stuck to the glass, making it look very cloudy. Reasonably priced, but unfortunately rather disappointing. We had the impression that everything was hastily conjured up here, with little attention to detail. If a restaurant wants to stand out, it needs more of that, and the staff needs to be calmer.

30/09/2025: The staff is very attentive, perhaps even too attentive! They're very good and helpful, and the food is excellent, all made with top-quality ingredients.

04/07/2025: A beautiful family-run restaurant with over 70 years of history! We had a wonderful experience at Scilla — it was our first time, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Giuseppe, the son of the family business, served us with such kindness and professionalism. Five-star service all the way! The restaurant is very kid-friendly, and everything on the menu is delicious, especially the filetto allo scoglio, which we highly recommend. Thank you for the amazing experience!

03/07/2025: Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The food was poorly seasoned, and the fish was completely dry. It was the worst meal we've had in two weeks in Calabria. We prefer al dente, but the pasta from the primo was almost raw and barely chewable. The service was friendly. However, my husband had barely put down his fork and I was still eating when the plate was taken away.

21/09/2025: The restaurant is good food, nice atmosphere, young and friendly staff, good music... Elegant location with pool and garden, but the road is very difficult and challenging to reach, even impervious. Satisfied anyway.

It offers quality service, local ingredients, and specialties featuring locally sourced porcini mushrooms. It's a popular choice for special occasions thanks to its impeccable service. Excellent prices considering the quality of the ingredients used. A must-try!

24/08/2025: I went to the restaurant for a family dinner. The place is welcoming and elegant, with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. The dishes are top-notch and the fish is incredibly fresh! Recommended!

18/08/2025: An intimate, elegant, minimalist room with soothing colors. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and available to answer any questions or concerns. A very refined selection of wines, among other things. The dishes served are delicious and beautifully presented, revealing a sense of experimentation and boldness; they are undoubtedly the result of hard work and creativity. The choice of food pairings is never boring. The restaurant caters to every need, especially any intolerance. I highly recommend La Vecchia Botte. I can't wait to return!

18/08/2025: Beautiful location... you can practically dine right by the sea. The peppered mussels were excellent and plentiful, and the grilled tuna was delicious; it melted in your mouth. It's not cheap, but the price is fair for the quality. Highly recommended.

I found this place online, so I based my review on it. The waiters were truly kind and very knowledgeable. The dishes were beautifully presented (even the eye deserves its share). An explosion of flavors, everything was delicious, every dish was beautifully presented. We were pampered from the door to the door. I recommend it with a double thumbs-up. 09/06/2025: The cold cuts appetizer was really really great. The service was always impeccable. I liked the pizza a little less because I felt it wasn't very tasty but it was certainly due to the excessive saltiness of the cold cuts. Unique in some respects in the area.
