05/12/2024: Cozy atmosphere, the very friendly and kind staff presented us with the different dishes. Very good dishes. They paid a lot of attention to people with celiac disease. The entire menu was also available gluten-free, including the handcrafted desserts. Excellent quality/price ratio. Superlative restaurant, highly recommended!

25/11/2024: Io e la mia famiglia eravamo diretti a Teramo quando, a metà strada, abbiamo deciso di fermarci a pranzo in qualche ristorante del teramano. Non conoscendo la zona, per scegliere ci siamo affidati a tripadvisor. Da subito mi avevano colpito le ottime recensioni offerte da altri avventori al ristorante “la tacchinella” e quindi abbiamo intrapreso la strada collinare per Canzano, una deliziosa cittadina dal carattere medievale. La location, situata proprio all’ingresso del centro storico, ricorda una cantina in pietra e la saletta dove eravamo accomodati era tranquilla e riservata. Il cibo é eccezionale: abbiamo preso fettuccine con funghi e tartufi; due grigliate miste e mezzo chilo di tagliata di manzo di una qualità superba. Un grazie particolare ai ragazzi che ci hanno servito, cioè Davide, Francesca e Antonietta che sono stati molto disponibili, competenti ed educati. Il conto, per rapporto qualità-prezzo, é stato più che giusto, avendo noi pagato 35 euro a testa avendo mangiato due antipasti, 4 primi, 4 secondi e 2 dolci il tutto superbo. Consiglio vivamente questo locale,che può insegnare molto agli altri come fare buona ristorazione.

We tasted a very good wine of their production and clearly bought a nice bottle! Highly recommended, we will absolutely be back! (Spectacular saffron maltagliati, sausage and truffle)

18/11/2024: Good food, with professional and courteous staff. I would have expected a little more in the cacio e pepe, but overall good. The gnocchi in the starter were excellent and superlative together with the sauces, one with peppers and the other with pumpkin. Average prices.

27/11/2024: Midweek lunch (Wednesday). The starters were good and in the right quantity. The first courses are tasty and with portions that are not exaggerated but not even outrageously gourmet. The second one I was able to make the slipper with was tasty! 😁 The variety of bread products is excellent. For dessert we had the truly excellent dry biscuits. Place with a view of the surrounding hills, tables with good tablecloths, pleasant and non-invasive service. In conclusion a delicious meal. The prices are normal, 2 of us spent €90 including the bottle of wine.

17/12/2024: I have returned, for the umpteenth time, to this restaurant and I must confirm with great pleasure what I have already written previously. The very pleasant atmosphere of the place and the cordial welcome of the two owner brothers prepare you for a lunch that will certainly be remembered for the quality of the dishes (all from the gastronomic tradition of Central Abruzzo but with a skilful mix of innovations by Tina and Marcella who work in the kitchen under the watchful eye of Mamma Lucia (a living monument of catering in the city of Sulmona). If we then add the type of room service carried out by Marco and Giacomo with their collaborator Emilio, absolutely flawless due to the consolidated precision and courtesy, we understand why eating in the Ristorante da Gino is always a very pleasant experience and why the restaurant is a sure point of reference in the gastronomic panorama of the city of Sulmona.

06/12/2024: Family-run place where professionalism, competence, friendliness and friendliness in the service are included in the price and where the customer feels pampered. When I'm in Sulmona it's an obligatory "stop": it's always nice to go back!!! The cuisine is excellent, it's a shame it's closed in the evening for dinner. Better to book.

27/12/2024: Il locale è piccolo (prenotate!) e molto accogliente. Piatti e prodotti della tradizione locale, cucinati benissimo con un buon assortimento e attenzione alle esigenze alimentari di tutti. In tre abbiamo preso una zuppa (cazzarellitte), chitarra al ragù, polenta con cime di rapa, scamorza e due porzioni di patate arrosto coltivate a pochi km. Tutto meraviglioso, anche la simpatia e le chiacchiere con chi ci ha servito. Con acqua, un calice di vino e due caffè abbiamo speso in tutto 62 euro. Consigliatissimo, anche perché il paese di Rocca Pia e la vicina Piana delle 5 miglia sono davvero suggestive.

09/12/2024: Torno sempre con piacere in questo ristorante fuori dal tempo nella parte antica e napoleonica del paese. Serata dedicata alla carne arrostita con tante verdure di contorno dopo lo stuzzichino iniziale. Tutto buono e ben servito con un rosato fresco a 14 gradi ! Ottimi i dolci della casa e giusto il prezzo. Location segnata dal tempo ma non priva di fascino retrò!

13/11/2024: For work I organize, once a year, a very large event, which attracts many people from all over Italy to Pescara. I have been collaborating with Casa Flaiano for 2 years now and I will never stop. All my guests ask me to eat at their place, and if they have already been there they want to come back! The food is exquisite (also for vegetarians/vegans and celiacs), the wine list is infinite and curated, the atmosphere of the place is enveloping and comfortable. Riccardo and Rossella have a professionalism, skill and courtesy that are unmatched. There is no request that they cannot satisfy and always perfectly. Attention to detail, dedication, kindness, professionalism and lots and lots of good food. I recommend Casa Flaiano with all my heart!
