14/07/2026: Whenever we can, we love to go there, both in summer and winter, and we've always eaten very well. I love the tuna steak, which is truly exceptional. The staff is kind and helpful.

Inform yourself beforehand about the contents of the dishes to avoid unpleasant surprises, like the chef's imaginative interpretation of traditional seafood dishes!
It doesn't matter that the owner admits his mistake. Leaving without having consumed anything, but paying for the inconvenience, doesn't change my mind, even after the apology I received.
He should probably only serve pizza.
I absolutely do not recommend him!

As a rule, wherever he goes, you bring your own drinks and bread or breadsticks. In the case above, I repeat that the table next to you, you even explained Catalan lobster to her (OBVIOUSLY DONE THE CHEF'S WAY), only ate the main course, and I didn't even get the appetizer.
Anyway, congratulations!!
Your waiter, who took our order, not only wasn't offended by anyone, but claimed that he, the poor guy, had nothing to do with it. That he's just a waiter. But since he's the first person to contact, it's only right that he fixes what happened, assuming he's capable, mind you. It's not my habit or politeness to offend workers.
So I left 50 euros for not having consumed anything even though I asked for the bill.
He's better at responding than improving.
Oh...PS, even for your business, receipts are important!!! See you next time.

01/09/2025: Every time I stop by, I can't resist: the bread is delicious, fragrant, and freshly baked; it always seems homemade. The desserts are truly tempting, especially the Nutella donut and the spirulina rolls, which have become my favorite indulgence. You can taste the passion and care they put into making everything. Plus, the staff is always kind and smiling, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. It's become my go-to place when I want to treat myself!

La Bottega del Forno Bassi is a very welcoming bakery, with plenty of fresh, fragrant bread. The staff is friendly and always smiling. I found excellent products, both sweet and savory, all of them top-quality.

26/06/2026: A well-maintained osteria, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere and attentive and courteous service. The dishes offered are delicious and authentic, typical of a wine bar. The crostini with liver pâté and orange sauce are excellent, as are the tartare di fascina served with classic sauces. The homemade desserts are excellent. The wine list is decent.
03/06/2026: The place is cozy, the food is mediocre, and the portions are very small. The service, if you need it, is very friendly, while the lady was very rude.
The same lady is always at the cash register... And since it's not the first time she's made a mistake in her calculations, the prices have skyrocketed this time too.
We were aware of a €3 surcharge per person during musical evenings, but the lady adds €3 for each dish, entree, and drink you order... After playing this game with everyone in the group, I pointed it out to her when it was my turn... And since I caught her in the act, she had to give everyone their money back.
But what really astounds me is that when I pointed it out, she was so brazen and annoyed that she gave me my money back, didn't apologize, and didn't call the others, considering it could have been a mistake.
I pointed this out to the group, and on their way back they got a refund for their "distraction."
To err is human, but to persevere is diabolical.... Watch out, guys.
Oh... I forgot, no receipt... 😉

06/09/2025: Poor celiacs!!! They use the association's logo, making people hope they'll find gluten-free options. Maybe some people come here specifically because they're in the area for lunch. What do they offer? Salad and fries... No comment. Don't justify yourselves by saying it's the end of the season because there are plenty of people around, and if your window is plastered with AIC stickers, you should always ensure you have acceptable options available.

Excellent, sophisticated, and beautifully presented drinks.
The only suggestion, with such carefully crafted drinks, is that the snacks deserve more attention.
20/08/2025: The cone itself wasn't palatable, and the gelato flavors were monotonous and lacking in distinctiveness. Furthermore, the texture was too icy, further compromising the flavor. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it, at least based on my experience.
