21/06/2026: Celiac Alert This restaurant promotes itself as gluten-free, but people with celiac disease should be aware that there appears to be very little attention paid to cross-contamination during table service. The problem is not the kitchen itself, but the way food is handled once it leaves the kitchen and in the bar. During my visit, I observed dishes being served without proper care to avoid contamination, including a lack of attention to handling plates, glasses, cups, making a coffee and other tableware with clean hands. For someone with celiac disease, this is not a minor detail; it is a serious health concern. I have been coming to this place for years and it used to be one of my trusted choices. Unfortunately, it has completely lost the level of care and awareness regarding cross contamination that once set it apart. A gluten-free menu alone is not enough if basic safety procedures are not consistently followed. I am sorry to say this, but this is a serious health issue. Handling my cup after touching a piada with bare hands shows a complete lack of awareness of cross-contamination risks for people with celiac disease.
