31/05/2026: Awful experience, the food was already late, the waitresses asked us for our orders five times and even got them wrong. The piadinas were terrible.
They arrived all disheveled, messy... a mess.
When paying, they even wanted to deduct €10 from my change, as if I wouldn't notice, and they even got angry after I asked for the €10 I was owed.
25/05/2026: A group of 11 people stopped for piadinas. We expected better quality, but the problem arose when we got the bill. After everyone had paid their share, we were told we were missing a twelfth. To avoid arguments, we paid, but upon closer inspection, we realized they'd added a piadina and a cover charge.
When we asked for a refund, the owner started making a fuss.
I advise anyone who decides to go: check the receipt carefully, and if you pay in cash, make sure they keep it up and correctly record the amounts paid.
In any case, we'll never return.

12/06/2026: Instead of ending up like the usual Turin bakeries just for Instagram stories, go here for breakfast. Excellent puff pastry, especially the custard filling you can fill your croissant with, is worth the stop. Good coffee and cappuccino. No lines and fair prices.
30/05/2026: We had breakfast this morning with:
- 1 coffee
- 1 barley coffee
- 1 0.5L water
Which, after a wait of about 30 minutes, finally arrived for a total of €9.50.
I still can't believe it.

12/07/2026: Unfortunately, it was bad...
We had an aperitivo with Aperol Spritz (good) and Campari Spritz (not good, very watered down). The staff was friendly but not up to par. The two cocktails were accompanied by tramezzini from the morning, or perhaps the day before, cut into pieces, old and unsightly. The tuna was dark brown. The bread was very dry, the salami rancid. Practically everything was left there. The cocktail was half-eaten.
I understand that anyone can have a bad day, but I would never have served food like that. It's a shame because the place itself is actually quite nice.
Maybe we'll give it a second chance later.
19/04/2026: I asked for a short, cold macchiato.
They made me a long, hot macchiato in a glass (an unattractive, underweight lady who then left after "serving" me).

07/09/2025: Albergo tranquillo, camere pulite e personale accogliente. Un piacevole weekend con la famiglia. Posizionato sul lungomare di Fano-Sassonia. Vicinissimi bar, ristoranti, gelaterie ecc...
Colazione a buffet, dolce - salato in base ai gusti. Cornetti caldi appena sfornati
30/08/2025: My wife and I stayed for a week from August 17th to 24th, 2025.
The hotel was seafront with an excellent view from the balcony.
The breakfast was adequate, with a very good croissant. This was a great thing, as I've rarely found cappuccino or coffee made fresh, rather than from the machines, which, besides being bad, sometimes even require you to wait in line. Instead, here, the girls would come by and ask what you wanted, which was very welcome. They would also come back a second time to ask if you wanted anything else.
The rooms were always clean, as was the entire hotel.
My wife, unfortunately, had a health problem, and Mrs. Tania immediately took action to help us, which was very much appreciated. I thank all the staff at the Hotel Sassonia, who were always smiling, and I must say, that's not something everyone can do.
It's definitely an excellent option for those who want to travel by train, as the train station is very close by, just a short walk.
Then Fano has remained in our hearts and we will definitely return, definitely to the Hotel Sassonia.
Highly recommended...

And I forgot, they also had a concept with the beach in front of it, an excellent establishment with a pool too, which was very welcome.

08/08/2025: Very nice restaurant with a good location, but the food is a shame. The mixed fried fish was poorly assorted and full of bones. Not recommended.
27/06/2025: I only tried the mixed seafood, the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The waiters were incredibly friendly and highly professional. Roberto was top notch.

08/07/2025: Nuestra primera impresión del restaurante fue entrar al comedor al aire libre detrás del restaurante. El ruido del tráfico se desvanecía y los exuberantes jardines de arbustos y las cortinas de techo creaban la atmósfera de un cenador en una finca rural donde podían reunirse familias numerosas. El personal fue amable y atento al explicarnos el menú y hacer ajustes para que nuestras comidas fueran exactamente lo que queríamos. Los ingredientes eran frescos y locales, la preparación era sabrosa e inventiva, y la presentación era excelente. Toda la experiencia fue relajada y relajante. Fue una comida memorable.
