As soon as you enter you can smell aromas linked to the Marche tradition, which we also found in the menu.
Excellent and really good dishes, the friendly and helpful owner was able to advise us as we were undecided about the choice given on the menu.
A valid discovery for a lunch or dinner in the center of Matelica in a warm environment that makes you feel a bit at home. Highly recommended, we can't wait to go back

The landlady is a splendid person, who knows how to put you at ease and who knows how to use her skills to make you feel like a member of the family and not just a "simple" guest. Every time we eat at Casa Grimaldi it is a unique experience!

15/12/2024: Let me start by saying that I was there a few years ago, it's great on the terrace even in summer, otherwise after 8pm it's hot there too.
But it's not possible inside precisely because the exposed ovens throw boiling air into the room (I'm referring to a few years ago, I don't know if anything has changed now).
The pizzas are good, but not excellent for my taste which is subjective anyway.
The waiters were very kind and polite
But based on my overall experience I can't go beyond 3 stars

18/01/2025: Very nice place, especially the breakfast area. With a very nice retro style. The pastas are excellent. The swivel with raisins is fantastic. But there are also bread, pizzas.....the girls are nice and friendly.

25/01/2025: Found by chance during a visit to a household appliance outlet in Cerreto d'Esi. Restaurant recommended by Google Maps. We ate very well in a cinema-themed environment next to the Matelica theatre. Very nice, I recommend it.
18/01/2025: Good dishes offered with friendliness and fast service. The place impresses with its choice of cinema-focused decor. Perhaps overall the environment was a little cold both due to the external winter temperatures and the structure of the spaces themselves, with large vaults and large rooms.

10/01/2025: Finally! It's been a long time since I tasted a pizza this good and so light to digest! I have a very delicate stomach and it hasn't happened in a long time that I really didn't feel any discomfort or heaviness both during and after the meal.
The dough rose for 72 hours according to the friendly owner Angelo.
Honest prices and very nice place, made of stone.
Update: I've been there other times and it never bothered me, really good and delicious pizza!

15/11/2024: A very good and very digestible pizza by the slice. I had lunch there, tables and chairs were available on a sunny day and we could eat outside. The amazing white one is excellent.
Finished lunch with excellent coffee and bitters. The owners are very nice.

29/12/2024: Poor quality sushi, gungan and uramaki are bombs of inedible rice, almost no dish respects the photos on the menu and the chef takes permission to change the ingredients, I had ordered uramaki with strawberries but they arrived with mango because the strawberries were finished, bah
