21/02/2026: Not everyone knows how to serve the public, and even less so is offering a classy and authentic experience at fair prices. You can find all of this at this place. I stopped by from Livorno for an aperitivo with my new dog. I was greeted by a courteous and attentive young man. I wanted a nice glass of local wine and something to eat with the aperitivo. The platter exceeded my expectations, as did the wine. I've rarely been 100% satisfied with every aspect of a place. The staff is professional but never cold—quite the opposite. The food is high-quality and homemade. I'll make the most of my stay to visit them often and be pampered. Go, you won't regret it!

06/02/2026: Intrigued by the place we'd been seeing from the street for a while, we decided to book a table for aperitif last night. We fell in love with Michele at first sight—he was so nice and kind!!! The aperitif was plentiful and made with truly quality ingredients. The recommended wine was top-notch. The maritozzo with hazelnut cream was excellent and large! The mother-in-law was also very good at getting me to eat vegetables that I never even touch! Michele shares his place with his mother-in-law and his wife, who is also very nice and kind! It feels like being at home with friends! The place is cute, clean, and yes, even the bathroom is really nice!!!! It feels like a garden!🪴 The price is more than fair! The idea of ​​being able to buy what you eat is also great! We'll be back soon!!

24/02/2026: My husband and I recommend Villa Poggio Verde to everyone. Loretta, Orietta, and their wonderful father, Franco, treated us with the care and love reserved for family, combining professionalism and helpfulness. We will never stop thanking them, as will all our guests, who, even six months later, still thank us for the experience and the food.

The food is truly delicious, and the organization and professionalism are excellent. We had a great time with Franco, Loretta, and Ombretta, who were incredibly kind. They accommodated all our requests and were with us throughout the day, ensuring every detail was perfect. We received many compliments from our guests about the quality of the food, the quantity, and the beauty of the location. We highly recommend Villa Poggio Verde to all future spouses.

17/10/2025: Beautiful campsite by a large pond with a peninsula in the lake where you can also camp. Beautiful location, friendly operators, and clean restrooms. One minor drawback: there's only one sink in the restroom, which resembles a kitchen sink. Highly recommended.

14/10/2025: October 13th. Friendly welcome Absolute relaxation. You just have to find the entrance. Don't worry, the path is clearly marked at the end. The campsite is located around a nice pond. Quiet. Electricity. Water. Very clean toilets. Shower: 50 cents for 3 minutes, which is more than enough (outside dispenser).

30/12/2025: We stumbled upon this grill restaurant by chance, rolling south! It's located a short distance from the A14/Pedaso exit on State Road 16. The place is beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly; Matilde (the owner) knows her job, and you can tell, even from a distance, that she was born to do this! Smiling and attentive to everything! The food is SUPERLATIVE! The meat is exquisite and of excellent quality, as are the cured meats and the homemade bread, served hot! The charcoal-fired one is delicious! The Porchetta, also served hot, has a crispy, bubbly crust. I'm very critical of porchetta; I grew up eating the kind made in my hometown (in Abruzzo) and I prefer that... but it's just a matter of taste! For side dishes, baked potatoes and sautéed vegetables! The wine list is excellent, and there's a beer passport! Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the desserts; we were too full. 🫣 The only downside... the coffee! Macchiato and others... let's just say it's questionable... but as a dear friend told me a long time ago: "Never drink coffee where you eat well, because they'll make it terrible!" 😊 We'll definitely be back when we have the chance!

21/12/2025: Matigusta is a restaurant with a quiet, refined atmosphere, tastefully decorated, where you can truly converse and enjoy the evening without the hustle and bustle. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable, always attentive but never intrusive. We chose a tasting of raw fish, an excellent 1.4 kg cut of Italian beef, and desserts. The passion, expertise, and love for this work are evident. It's one of those places that would have nothing to envy of restaurants in a big city. Sincere compliments.

This is Nicolino, where anything is possible, where he decides the menu, except for the pizzas, where the selection is as wide as his imagination. The appetizer is a mix of everything, from cured meats to ricotta, sausage and anchovies, plus amazing stewed beans. The finale? A surprise dessert, depending on Annamaria's verve. An experience that is always new and satisfying. All this in the historic center of Altidona, where the bar and restaurant is the heart and soul.

02/09/2025: Truly unique, both the management and the ambiance. The owner is friendly and approachable, the charcuterie platter is delicious, the mushroom polenta is delicious, and the various pizzas are also excellent. Reasonable prices. The village is charming. Recommended.
