30/12/2025: We stumbled upon this grill restaurant by chance, rolling south! It's located a short distance from the A14/Pedaso exit on State Road 16. The place is beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly; Matilde (the owner) knows her job, and you can tell, even from a distance, that she was born to do this! Smiling and attentive to everything! The food is SUPERLATIVE! The meat is exquisite and of excellent quality, as are the cured meats and the homemade bread, served hot! The charcoal-fired one is delicious! The Porchetta, also served hot, has a crispy, bubbly crust. I'm very critical of porchetta; I grew up eating the kind made in my hometown (in Abruzzo) and I prefer that... but it's just a matter of taste! For side dishes, baked potatoes and sautéed vegetables! The wine list is excellent, and there's a beer passport! Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the desserts; we were too full. 🫣 The only downside... the coffee! Macchiato and others... let's just say it's questionable... but as a dear friend told me a long time ago: "Never drink coffee where you eat well, because they'll make it terrible!" 😊 We'll definitely be back when we have the chance!

21/12/2025: Matigusta is a restaurant with a quiet, refined atmosphere, tastefully decorated, where you can truly converse and enjoy the evening without the hustle and bustle. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable, always attentive but never intrusive. We chose a tasting of raw fish, an excellent 1.4 kg cut of Italian beef, and desserts. The passion, expertise, and love for this work are evident. It's one of those places that would have nothing to envy of restaurants in a big city. Sincere compliments.

11/08/2025: A flawless experience from start to finish. The sushi is incredibly fresh, made with top-quality ingredients and refined yet balanced flavor combinations. Every piece is meticulously crafted, both in presentation and taste. The service is fast, friendly, and always attentive. Takeout is also excellent, without compromising on freshness and quality. A must-visit for sushi lovers: every visit is a testament to their dedication.

16/03/2026: A colleague and I went there yesterday, March 15, 2026, after serving at the Lonate Ceppino cycling race. From the local road, it's not very noticeable, and you might mistake it for one of the many takeout pizzerias... let's say a little anonymous, but since it's a "village" place, that's fine. Once you cross the threshold, you discover that it's not what it appears to be, but beyond the ordering counter, there's a comfortable and spacious pizzeria dining room. Not too many seats, but just enough to create a nice atmosphere that leaves you space. In short, you don't find yourself jostling with the diners at the table next to you... which, in my opinion, is truly a nice and worthy thing. Now let's get to the crux of the review: Cleanliness of the place: Perfect Staff: Courteous and attentive. Cleanliness of the restrooms (WC): VERY CLEAN, well-kept, tidy, and no unpleasant odors... WELL DONE!!! Menu: Many pizzas to choose from, some of which are noteworthy. Prices: More than fair. We ordered two "BOMBAs"... the menu features a lot of ingredients, so we wanted to test the veracity of the claims. TEST PASSED WITHOUT FULLY. Delicious pizza, perfectly cooked, not burned, not greasy, EASY TO DIGEST, beyond all expectations... sausage, peppers, onion, Zola, and spicy salami, along with so much more, made one think it would be a difficult after-lunch experience, but not so. Everything was perfect. The price of the "Bomba" is €11 and it's truly worth it. We had a truly wonderful time. In total, for two, with two Bombas, one water, one 66cl beer, and two coffees, €32.00 = If you happen to be in the area and don't know where to stop for refreshments, I highly recommend this "timid" pizzeria. Don't be fooled by the outside view; the best and the best awaits you as soon as you cross the threshold. At least, that's been my experience.

02/01/2026: OMG. This was the best place we have been to. Food was delicious. Delicious is not near the beauty of the taste. The waiter was out of this world. We asked for a menu. He said, "My name is "menu" He knew everytihng that was available. We would like to La Spezia again just to have lunch at this cafe. 10,000 stars!

24/10/2025: I asked myself, "Why stop at a service station?" I exited at Pedaso Parked at the church 1:30 PM Honestly, it takes courage to enter from the outside, but as soon as you step through the door, you'll find a welcoming and spotlessly clean environment. Impeccable service, just the right amount of friendliness, no intrusiveness. We had two first courses, a mixed appetizer, and desserts, two adults and a child. Amazing mussels, truly rich and flavorful seafood ragu. Crostini with burrata and anchovies. I'll dream about them tonight. Side note: The bathroom is also super clean and spacious.

08/02/2026: A great pizzeria, and not just in the city center. A wide variety of pizzas, including the option to choose your dough. The basement location is very charming. Space is a bit limited. Service is friendly and quick. In the summer, you can also dine outside in a small area just outside the restaurant.

15/01/2026: A very nice place in the center of Aperto San Giorgio. We tried this place for the first time with friends who live in the area. We were very impressed by the well-kept and picturesque location. We had pizza for dinner, which has many variations on the menu, from classic to more sophisticated. The beer selection is also excellent. The price is reasonable. Recommended!

02/12/2025: Imagine yourself at home, an unfiltered family dinner. This is Nicolino, where anything is possible, where he decides the menu, except for the pizzas, where the selection is as wide as his imagination. The appetizer is a mix of everything, from cured meats to ricotta, sausage and anchovies, plus amazing stewed beans. The finale? A surprise dessert, depending on Annamaria's verve. An experience that is always new and satisfying. All this in the historic center of Altidona, where the bar and restaurant is the heart and soul.

02/09/2025: Truly unique, both the management and the ambiance. The owner is friendly and approachable, the charcuterie platter is delicious, the mushroom polenta is delicious, and the various pizzas are also excellent. Reasonable prices. The village is charming. Recommended.

18/03/2026: Traditional cuisine, a few dishes (but not that few) but excellently prepared! The atmosphere is a bit vintage, but the traditional feel isn't out of place. Highly recommended!!
