12/10/2025: A very nice Japanese restaurant, with modern and charming decor. The service is excellent and extremely friendly! The food, especially the sushi, is simply wow! Extremely good and made with great attention to detail! Dogs are also welcome.

21/09/2025: My husband had meat and really enjoyed it, I had the fried mixed fish, which I found rather bland and don't like the head still attached...but that's just my thing. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and right on the water.

19/09/2025: The pizzas and Caprese salad were very good. Excellent value for money. I would eat there again in a heartbeat. It's wonderful to stroll along the lake. What annoyed me personally was the constant lurking around, clearing away everything that was no longer needed or empty, but I was still eating. One star less for that.

04/08/2025: Note: The restaurant is dated and in the middle of traffic. That said, we had dinner for two with a friend on the terrace, which was beautifully presented and set. The waitress, very helpful and polite, even brought us mosquito spray, which was much appreciated. After a classic aperitif, we chose from the seafood menu. Tuna tartare, salmon tartare, tuna steak, mixed fried fish. Tiramisu and crème brûlée. Fresh Pinot Noir, two red wines (corretto), and two limoncellos. Excellent quality, especially the tartares, which were truly delicious, but nothing to complain about with the dishes presented. Price: EUR 180. Probably a high price for Ponte Tresa, but justified by the good quality. A tip? Don't charge EUR 5 for a limoncello, but offer it to your guests; it would make a better impression. Furthermore, the restaurant was desolately empty: it's true that it's early August and many are on vacation, but a price adjustment could positively influence a new clientele. Well done anyway.

If you love Japanese cuisine but have lost your enthusiasm for the usual all you can eat, the PONTE ROSSO restaurant in Ponte Tresa (Italy) is definitely worth a visit. This is exactly why I chose it: here you eat real, high-quality sushi, prepared with artisanal care and served in generous portions, all at an absolutely balanced price. The classic rolls are already a guarantee in themselves: excellent freshness, precise cuts, well-balanced ingredients, no excess rice, but only authentic taste and first-rate raw materials. But the real surprise comes when you get off the beaten track. Driven by curiosity, I decided to let myself be carried away by the proposal of hot cuisine and raw fish: a revelation. Dishes such as meat skewers (chicken and beef) - with a complex but harmonious aromatic profile - and a selection of raw fish prepared at the counter in family style, tell a story made of attention, research and passion. Everything plays in balance between well-calibrated contrasts: between crunchy textures and umami delicacies, between flavor, sweetness and acidity, in a dance of flavors that is never banal. Perfect portions, simple but well-finished plating, and honest prices. At a time when many places are content to “copy”, Ponte Rosso continues to stand out for its authenticity and constant quality. The service? Smart, present, never intrusive. Quick at the right times, but always with a smile. 24/09/2025: Really not great! Noisy, terrible food and we had to wait 1h40 for two pieces of piccata alla Milanese without a side dish. The sushi is a little better but there are also better sushi restaurants in the area... only the octopus with potatoes was really good.
