24/08/2025: The wait was a bit long, but we appreciated that the four courses (2 pizzas + 2 main courses) arrived together, so kudos to the management. The desserts were more than satisfying. Service was good, but a bit rushed at the end of the meal to allow time for the tables to be set up for the second sitting. Beautiful, quiet, and private location.

23/08/2025: Almost on Lake Lugano. The promenade is in between. 2 euros for a cover charge. Service was very attentive, though. The Quattro Stagionne pizza was very good!

04/08/2025: Note: The restaurant is dated and in the middle of traffic. That said, we had dinner for two with a friend on the terrace, which was beautifully presented and set. The waitress, very helpful and polite, even brought us mosquito spray, which was much appreciated. After a classic aperitif, we chose from the seafood menu. Tuna tartare, salmon tartare, tuna steak, mixed fried fish. Tiramisu and crème brûlée. Fresh Pinot Noir, two red wines (corretto), and two limoncellos. Excellent quality, especially the tartares, which were truly delicious, but nothing to complain about with the dishes presented. Price: EUR 180. Probably a high price for Ponte Tresa, but justified by the good quality. A tip? Don't charge EUR 5 for a limoncello, but offer it to your guests; it would make a better impression. Furthermore, the restaurant was desolately empty: it's true that it's early August and many are on vacation, but a price adjustment could positively influence a new clientele. Well done anyway.

This is exactly why I chose it: here you eat real, high-quality sushi, prepared with artisanal care and served in generous portions, all at an absolutely balanced price. The classic rolls are already a guarantee in themselves: excellent freshness, precise cuts, well-balanced ingredients, no excess rice, but only authentic taste and first-rate raw materials. But the real surprise comes when you get off the beaten track. Driven by curiosity, I decided to let myself be carried away by the proposal of hot cuisine and raw fish: a revelation. Dishes such as meat skewers (chicken and beef) - with a complex but harmonious aromatic profile - and a selection of raw fish prepared at the counter in family style, tell a story made of attention, research and passion. Everything plays in balance between well-calibrated contrasts: between crunchy textures and umami delicacies, between flavor, sweetness and acidity, in a dance of flavors that is never banal. Perfect portions, simple but well-finished plating, and honest prices. At a time when many places are content to “copy”, Ponte Rosso continues to stand out for its authenticity and constant quality. The service? Smart, present, never intrusive. Quick at the right times, but always with a smile. 14/06/2025: This is a restaurant that I have been going to for several years and every time I am really satisfied. When friends or relatives come to visit me, I always take them here because it is my favorite choice! The sashimi is very fresh and the sushi is the best I have ever eaten. All the other dishes are also exquisite, they are not far behind. In addition, the restaurant offers really convenient parking.

21/07/2025: I've loved sashimi and sushi since before they became a trend. All-you-can-eat restaurants are ultimately all very similar, and the mechanics are equally similar. One thing in particular amazed me here. The abundance...the dishes are dishes! Not tiny portions brought slowly. Here, you risk getting the quantities wrong if you think of the usual restaurants. A rich buffet and truly a pleasure to go to. And of course, everything is truly excellent. 10/10 Please don't waste food.
