06/07/2025: "I was very disappointed with my experience at Trattoria Caprese in Busto Arsizio. The atmosphere was nice, but the service was slow and the food did not live up to expectations. We ordered an entrée of eggplant parmigiana which was not very tasty, but to start we were fine; a plate of pasta with clams and a plate of seafood. In addition to the wait (they basically served pizza and pasta carbonara first at the next table even though the diners had arrived later), we received two dishes that did not smell of clams!!! A guy immediately approached us asking if there was a problem and apologizing offered us a plate of pasta with tomato sauce as an alternative, pointing out that it would take more time to prepare!!!! ... but if we wanted seafood!!!! so doing the math: from 1.50pm when we sat down, to 2.45pm they brought us the pasta... should we have waited any longer? I would say no! We got up, calmly paid €21 for what we “tasted”, aubergine (one for two!!!) water and cover charge! While the boy was very rude probably because he felt offended by our gesture! Overall, it was not a good experience and we certainly will not return!!

01/07/2025: Dinner 2 mothers and 2 1 and a half year old girls. We take 2 pizzas, they 1 pasta with sauce for 2. We then took 1 beer, 1 glass of prosecco, 1 tiramisu for 2 and, at the waiter's suggestion, 2 scoops of strawberry ice cream for the little ones. We spent €85 and above all in the receipt NO PRICE REPORTED. I will not return again.

03/08/2025: Truly excellent pizza, one of the best I've ever had. You can choose between the crispy thin crust, like I like it, or the softer regular thickness. Average prices. I'll definitely be back.

16/08/2025: I had a cappuccino and a chocolate brioche...the cappuccino was creamy and the brioche was quite rich in cream...the place also has an outdoor seating area. Payment by debit card is recommended.

04/05/2025: Negative experience at this place. The bartender should consider changing jobs, since being in contact with customers does not seem to be her strong point. Fortunately, the motto written on the mirror behind her suggests a very profound life attitude, which evidently does not suit her. It all started with the order: in addition to a cappuccino and a croissant, I clearly asked for a glass of sparkling water. After less than half a minute, he asks me how I preferred the water... okay, but when I went to pay, instead of taking the money politely, he left me the change without saying a word, without saying goodbye. I pointed out what was written on the mirror behind her, and she responded with a fake grin, similar to that of a 3 euro coin. Now I understand why the bar next door was full and this one wasn't. Dear manager, if you care about your business, I advise you to pay attention to the staff you employ.

14/08/2025: Excellent place, much appreciated family dinner, they made us feel at home, excellent welcome and good service, with the place full the wait was adequate.. to apologize they offered us an amaro.. to be appreciated 🔝

10/08/2025: Great restaurant with amazing food right in the city center. The service was friendly, although communication was a bit challenging since the staff didn’t speak much English. That’s understandable, as Busto Arsizio is a smaller city and likely doesn’t get many international visitors. Regardless, I highly recommend this place if you're staying in town — definitely worth a visit!

21/08/2025: I've known this place since I was a child and, until yesterday, it was always nice to go back. I decided to take my mom for her birthday. The air conditioning was on full blast (I recommend a sweater even in the summer) and we ordered a first course, a second course and 2 side dishes. Dishes that are neither infamous nor glorious, unfortunately, have expired a lot. My mom ordered "sautéed potatoes" as a side dish, which everyone knows more or less how to make. Here we are bad. Not good. Fried and over-fried in oil that perhaps had been there for days because the taste was unpleasant. We mentioned this to the waitress (a bit stout with glasses) and her response was "you won't like them, ma'am, others like them" stating that the potatoes are prepared this way and the oil was fresh. First of all, a waitress absolutely does not respond to a customer in this rude way, she apologizes and takes the dish away and secondly, this arrogance is causing a place that has been there for years to decline. Obviously they put the potatoes in the bill because if someone wants to be, I don't say classy which is too much, but at least apologize or not charge. I've been going there for 44 years, I'm sorry.

21/01/2025: Nel percorso verso la Multimedica di Castellanza, ci imbattiamo in questa pasticceria / caffetteria in una piazzola accanto ad un comodo parcheggio. Devo confessarvi che siamo stati attirati da un signore che usciva felice con un cabaret di paste e ci siamo lasciati contagiare provando a fare colazione. Devo dire: ottima! Ottimi i cappucci ed ottime le brioche. Parcheggio davanti. Cosa chiedere di più?

11/08/2025: I was there last night and unfortunately I found that it is no longer like before, my husband had food poisoning, he had fish from the buffet with flies on the food and nothing fresh, dry cakes, inedible watermelon, ditto the cured meats, it was supposed to be a Pugliese menu but there was very little Pugliese, disappointing they have lost the enthusiasm of before, worse than a canteen with all due respect to the canteens for workers, don't go it is a waste of money, once there was quality now it is a disgrace all advertising

16/08/2025: I'm updating my review after about a year: I'll just advise the owners that serving food to customers, especially when it comes to fish, carries a very high responsibility for their health... I'll definitely never go back. Old review: Well, I went to dinner at Kisen after a long time, more or less when it wasn't yet AYCE, with a bit of apprehension, I'd say. Instead, I found the ingredients to be good quality, although in line with current AYCE restaurants, which are aligned with their price. There were 10 of us at a nice, spacious table, comfortable enough to stand up and move around. The staff is professional and polite, which is never a given in this type of restaurant. We had a bit of everything, from traditional Japanese dishes to fusion, even though I personally don't like it, to Chinese. Obviously, the flavor of the dishes is very similar to other AYCE restaurants, although I think Kisen has its own distinct flavor. The fish was good but not exceptional, but in line with the price you pay. Needless to say, I was pleased with the switch from a la carte to AYCE. I don't really like the very modern atmosphere, but that's how it is these days. A good alternative in the area.

20/05/2025: I order pizza and French fries to go, and in the car I go to get a potato chip, I find them black and soft, I take them back obviously and the lady tells me they are fresh pattlate (I have been working in Italian kitchens for 30 years) Never again!!!! The pizza was not bad

04/05/2025: I'm sorry but I really can't help but give a very negative review. We gave this place two chances and both times very bad experience. First time a few months ago: takeaway pizzas, I take pizza with mushrooms. The pizza arrives with literally EIGHT PIECES (I counted them) of mushrooms. In practice it was a daisy on which some mushroom had accidentally fallen. Oh well, a bad evening can happen. We decide to give it a second chance last night, always takeaway pizzas. I take a Franciscan (mushrooms and raw meat) specifically to see if the mushrooms had increased in the meantime: nothing to do, EIGHT LITTLE PIECES. Evidently their recipe for pizza with mushrooms does not include mushrooms. But if it had only been this: fries with a color between brown and black (see photo), the other pizzas had the most incredible shapes (see photo). The apotheosis was finding the sachets of mayonnaise and ketchup INSIDE the box of chips, mixed among the food. From the series: hello hygiene. I don't usually give negative reviews because I respect and understand the difficulty sometimes of managing a business for the public (I do it too) but in the face of such a massacre, even repeated, it is impossible to remain silent. Probably, given the positive reviews of many others, the problem only occurs with takeaway. Obviously, they will never see me again. Good luck to whoever comes. Greetings

26/02/2025: Be careful when you go to the cashier, tonight he wanted to make me pay 30 for a sandwich, chips, beer when I asked why so much? The waitress said that she didn't even know how it was possible, so the cashier added 10 euros more on its own 😂😂 Terrible fool.
