09/05/2024: Excellent restaurant. Above expectations

28/04/2024: A place of some importance, impeccable service, high quality food and a slightly above average price. But I would make a criticism for the reason of the 4 stars, I took "carpacciata" as a starter (see photo), excellent quality fish but being a bit too abundant as a starter and as a second course the seared tuna which was also excellent but presented like going to a Japanese restaurant I would have preferred a more Italian presentation like I had eaten in Puglia, furthermore I saw other diners taking other appetizers and served them like going to a Sushi in short they bring you small plates with tastings and you find yourself with a table full of dishes, I haven't shared it much because at this point I'm going to eat Sushi in a Japanese restaurant where there is also the same quality and I spend less, to conclude my wife had the octopus on a bed of burrata, the fish always good but the burrata made the dish nauseating or at least that's my opinion, in fact it wasn't appreciated, I'm not talking about the desserts because it's not my habit to consume them in restaurants. It is certainly not a restaurant for my budget to go to regularly but if I return I will have other courses, however I recommend it for a romantic evening and a special occasion.

All dishes seasoned the same way.... same flavor that I couldn't even define. Present yourself badly, very badly indeed. The service also leaves something to be desired........

06/04/2024: The Barley House is the place with the widest choice of beer in Gallarate, both on tap and in bottles. There is also a decent choice of natural wines and ciders. Varied food menu, with different vegetarian/vegan and non-vegetarian choices. The staff is always friendly and willing to give you beer/food recommendations. Well done! Place of the heart 🫶🏻

03/03/2024: As always entranced by the Chef's Mediterranean cuisine. His octopus today was exceptional and the final spectacle of tasting the desserts amidst the scents of Sorrento lemons was exciting. His new creation among the desserts is surprising: pistachio mousse with cinnamon biscuit crumbs. Highly recommended for enthusiasts and business or leisure travelers at the crossroads between Milan, Malpensa and Switzerland.

Modern, attentive, elegant table presentation apart from the placemat. Well-spaced tables. Perfect staff and service. Romantic outdoor setting. Welcoming rooms that tell of the past and a relaxing present.

Invece di scegliere una pizza da dividere con qualcuno per assaggiarne 2, valutare se prendere un'altra pizza perché si ha ancora "un posticino" oppure non volere una pizza intera perché si ha poca fame...vai di pizzotta! Impasto leggero, saporito, digeribilissimo, ambiente informale, possibilità di personalizzare gli ingredienti e personale gentile e simpatico! Promosso a pieni voti!

01/04/2024: Excellent experience to try the typical flavors of Argentine cuisine in terms of meat. First choice meat in various cuts, excellently cooked and properly presented. Recommended among the appetizers are the Argentine salami and the meat tartare and sashimi dish. There are some excellent children's menus. Cleanliness, a warm and welcoming environment, a nice bathroom and kind and knowledgeable staff. Prices slightly high compared to the portions but justified by the quality. Definitely worth trying if you want to eat excellent meat in Saronno.
