06/02/2025: What can I say, I give 5 stars because I can't give more... We spent 4 nights sleeping and eating at the farmhouse (two fathers with two 7 year old girls), everything was magnificently perfect, Massimo was super kind and did everything to satisfy our requests due to some problems with a little girl's food.
We will be back.
01/02/2025: We had previously had the pleasure of trying the cuisine of Aunt Edda's house, staying in the camper stop area in June. We also wanted to try an overnight stay in the beautiful and picturesque hut and what can we say?...for three days we were pampered by the owners both in terms of attention to the preparations in the kitchen (we asked that the dishes be gluten-free and without contamination - due to a celiac person) than for the attention to detail in general.
In my opinion the experience in the cabin couldn't have been better than this, the kids had a lot of fun. Thank you! We will definitely be back

04/09/2024: Nothing to say, after 2 hours of walking we didn't need anything better than a refuge like this, Carlo and Dina, the two owners are super welcoming, he in the kitchen and she manages the customers, super nice and they also offered us a delicious sweet , we tried the whole menu and I recommend their famous polenta gnocchi with mushrooms and the bresaola, the best I've ever eaten.
If you are hungry you absolutely must stop by and have some lunch.
I was with my family and 4 of us ate at the right price considering the place and the portions. (even the delicious coffee, with moka, is not a given) WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Agriturismo Malga Valle dell'Alpe

04/09/2024: The Alpe hut is a small jewel located along the road to the Gavia pass. Located at 2239m above sea level, it is a small mountain hut where you can find simple and genuine cuisine. The environment is warm, very welcoming and the owners extremely kind. You will find excellent cheeses they produce as well as other products (especially jams). A stop is highly recommended even just for a delicious tart snack.
01/09/2024: ...fourth time in the summer...once on a MTB/E once on foot from Sunny Valley, once on foot and once on a motorbike...a certainty for a sublime and particular lunch stop...reservation required for me I recommend 👍🏻😉🍻

12/11/2024: During my short stay in Valfurva, I ate the Pizzoccheri that I liked most at Rifugio Berni. The lady who served us was also very kind.
28/10/2024: Perhaps the most rustic of the local refuges but certainly the one that impressed me the most. First of all, you can't help but praise their fantastic pizzoccheri, which in my opinion are the best in the area, and then the spontaneous and calm courtesy of the staff who pamper you and make you feel immediately at ease. A simple traditional cuisine, with sincere flavors and a good quality/price ratio.

I have decided to return for a week in August 2024
Excellent cleanliness, good food and good quality wines, well-kept room
What is noticeable and not pleasant is the difference with which they treat old customers and new customers
The waitress who laughed with some customers and joked with others was very cold
When paying, Customers must all receive the same treatment
The shower heads in the bathroom definitely need to be changed as they are painful
It's not possible to take a cold shower almost every evening and be told "it's because you all take it at the same time": I hope it doesn't happen in the middle of winter with temperatures below zero
Garage too small for requests: you go out with the car and in the evening you no longer find space
Externally the hotel needs a good sprucing up

16/08/2024: After a lunch with food most likely reheated because the dishes arrived in 4 minutes and having spent 200 euros plus another 30 for the wooden table football table, which, placed outside, obviously worn by the elements and 10 years old (according to the Son) was an obviously rotten piece of wood broke, we also had to leave 50 euros for the damage caused (which was more than correct if it had been intentional), the service was paid, the table football was worn out, no regulations are posted that in the event of damage, even involuntary ones, that we have to pay for, we should have done like the average Italian, pretend nothing had happened and leave the broken things there instead, honesty cost us another 50 euros, congratulations on the service and the treatment! We will certainly not return again and we will certainly not advertise well

22/01/2025: Only tried the bar and restaurant in the center of Santa Caterina (if a micro town can have a centre), honorable mention because they also allow you to dine at 8pm (the restaurant next door closes the kitchen at 7pm). Maybe we were the only Italians among many Germans, high prices (€7 a side of chips) but by choosing the right things from the menu you can eat well without spending a lot.
We still spent half...
17/01/2025: excellent cleanliness, excellent location. We were there for a skiing week but will also return for summer holidays. Perfect for families
