30/03/2025: We came for lunch, perfect staff and service, the owner welcomed us immediately with open arms, we ordered sciatt and pizzoccheri both super tasty especially regarding the cheeses. Great choice of wines, I recommend for all skiers who pass through Santa Caterina

25/02/2025: Siamo tornati a distanza di qualche anno nell'albergo di cui il bar è una appendice separata. Anche in questa occasione abbiamo potuto assaporare le loro pietanze. Uno strudel ineguagliabile, anche in confronto con quelli provati in Alto Adige. Lo consigliamo vivamente.

04/05/2025: We spent one night in this wonderful farmhouse (unfortunately only one!). As soon as you enter you really have the sensation of entering a home, savoring that warmth that style and furnishings, rightly combined, can give you. The owners welcomed us and pampered us with their traditional and genuine cuisine, with abundant dishes, both for dinner and breakfast, and always with a smile on their faces.

04/09/2024: The Alpe hut is a small jewel located along the road to the Gavia pass. Located at 2239m above sea level, it is a small mountain hut where you can find simple and genuine cuisine. The environment is warm, very welcoming and the owners extremely kind. You will find excellent cheeses they produce as well as other products (especially jams). A stop is highly recommended even just for a delicious tart snack.

01/09/2024: ...fourth time in the summer...once on a MTB/E once on foot from Sunny Valley, once on foot and once on a motorbike...a certainty for a sublime and particular lunch stop...reservation required for me I recommend 👍🏻😉🍻

06/04/2025: The legendary Gianni's pizza is highly recommended! Crispy and tasty! Mandatory stop when you want to enjoy an excellent pizza! I recommend the one with Zola and apples!

14/05/2025: A wonderful place to stay. Our motorcycle break turned into an overnight stay; we were able to get a room spontaneously. Super friendly, and the food is all there is. Simple, but great! The morning atmosphere by the lake is fantastic.

20/04/2025: It wouldn't be bad but it has two very negative aspects: 1 the door to the men's bathroom has been without a lock for months despite it being pointed out to the manager 2 smells of fried food for 2 days after having lunch internally

08/05/2025: We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Pedranzini during the British Alpine Ski Nationals this year. The staff are all extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely exceptional! I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed ourselves.

21/04/2025: Even though we arrived very late for lunch, we were welcomed and served very well and we enjoyed it so much that we also returned for dinner, despite being able to choose from many fine restaurants nearby. Very welcoming environment for families with children and staff very helpful with various requests. Compliments to the chef, especially for the fillet, prepared to perfection (which is not easy or obvious). Highly recommended

09/04/2025: I'm not a regular at reviews, but this time it's really worth writing a negative one. It is the second time I go to this pizzeria in Santa Caterina Valfurva. The first time it would have deserved a negative review, but, as I said, I usually avoid it. Let me start by saying that the pizza is good and the place is quite nice and welcoming. Having said that, I'll tell you about my first experience. When I went the first time, they made me sit near the swing door, as I was alone and it was a small table attached to the wooden pear of the door. So far, so good. The problem arose when, every two or three minutes, someone entered, exited or went to smoke a cigarette. Now, imagine a dinner with a door that slams violently because it lacks a slowdown spring: the bench you are sitting on shakes, the table shakes, the plate shakes. Imagine how you can dine in peace. In the end, having arrived at the cash register, I point out the problem to the innkeeper, who, already a little annoyed, replies that "that's how it is", justifying in my opinion the unjustifiable. Yet, simply installing a slowdown spring would solve the problem. Today I decide to return to this place to eat pizza again. I wait for the innkeeper, who suggests that I sit in the same place. I reply with these exact words: “No, I'm not going there.” His angry response was: “If you ask me in a polite manner, I'll make you sit somewhere else.” It makes me wonder: what would I have said that was rude? Also because I didn't even have time to explain why I didn't want to sit there. With that, I kicked up and left. The world is full of pizzerias, and I certainly won't choose this one again. P.s. "In response to the innkeeper, I invite you to judge your own work first rather than that of others, even without having the necessary elements, and to be more cordial with your guests, because, as can be seen from other negative reviews, no one criticizes the cuisine, but the welcome. Think about it."
