18/04/2026: We've been frequenting this place for a while and have always appreciated the quality of the food and drinks. Unfortunately, last night's experience left a bitter taste in our mouths due to the way a small incident was handled.
Due to the awning hitting a decorative lamp on the table (perhaps a little too bulky for the space), a drink spilled. Although the incident was clearly accidental and related to the arrangement of the furniture, we noticed a certain slowness and clumsiness in clearing the table, so much so that we had to ask to move ourselves.
What displeased us most, however, was the manager's tone. When it came time to return the drink to my friend, we were told that the owner was "doing us a favor" by not charging it, claiming it was our fault since there was no wind. We believe that, regardless of the dynamics, courtesy and attention to a loyal customer should come before controversy over a spilled glass.
A real shame, because the place is worth it, but the service and welcome have a lot of room for improvement in terms of kindness.

15/05/2026: I thought I'd seen the most disconcerting thing in the restaurant business.
But last night, at Trattoria Basilio in Vimercate (Piazza Castellana, 1), I witnessed and experienced one of the most horrendous dinners I've ever had.
Very poor food, a barely decent atmosphere, indecent wine, and temporary service, with the cook (I don't want to call him a chef) showing up in dirty clothes, creating a simple, rustic atmosphere, which in this case is indecent.
What surprised me most was how such an establishment is celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2026 and how it has received such positive comments from patrons.
A piece of sincere advice: people, stay away from this trattoria, which even charged me 30 euros yesterday.

28/04/2026: Cavour is a point of reference. The attention to customer service, the quality of the ingredients, from the coffee to the selection of gin and whiskey, and last but not least, the music selection, truly make the difference.
It's not just a matter of well-made cups, even if the coffee here is treated with the respect reserved for serious matters. It's the combination that works: carefully selected ingredients, a selection of gin and whiskey that doesn't seem to be there for show but to be truly experienced, with Robi's great knowledge, and a soundtrack that accompanies without being overwhelming. Another example of customer service is the "memory": what you like and how, from breakfast with Anna to aperitif with Roberto.
Bravo! Keep it up ✌️

20/04/2026: I was here for dinner with friends and I have to say the atmosphere is very welcoming and clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is very good.
We had a really good time and had a very enjoyable evening; we will definitely be back.
20/04/2026: Fantastic experience, extremely friendly staff, and top-notch quality. I've been several times, both for their fantastic pizza and the food. I've always eaten and drank excellently, as they have a very extensive and refined wine list. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and spend a pleasant evening with friends in a place that doesn't require too much financial commitment, as the prices are perfectly in line with the quality and sophistication of the dishes. You definitely won't be disappointed!

fresh salmon, and shrimp, and found it well-crafted and very enjoyable.
The balance of flavors is its strong point: the salmon adds tenderness, the shrimp
add character, and the overall result is
harmonious, without being heavy.
A carefully crafted seafood pizza, tasty and different from the usual, ideal for those looking for something more sophisticated than the classic options.
Aside from the pizza, the service and atmosphere were also excellent!

18/04/2026: Excellent pizza, as well as food. The management has regained its momentum, led by a very capable person. Excellent service, quality dishes. I have to amend a review from over a year ago (one evening when the service was really slow), because it's absolutely right to recognize those who put passion and know how to grow a place. One of my all-time favorite places. Great!

22/04/2026: Excellent pizza, crispy crust, light. We had dinner at the restaurant, which is more of a takeout than a pizzeria. The pizza chef is kind and helpful, a good guy. A little attention to detail would be appreciated, like with the bathroom.
