30/08/2024: Let me start by saying that I have been frequenting this restaurant occasionally for more than five years, and I have always had a very good time, to the point of leaving a 5-star review in the past, soft and spicy pitas, meat cooked perfectly with gyros, last dinner February 2024. August 2024 : wrong evening? Change of management? What happened to the REAL Ghyreria Filoxenia? Very small pita, very strange brown dough, biscuity, very hard, not spiced and therefore tasteless, impossible to imagine it being used for a takeaway pita, soggy meat, more like boiled meat than gyros, just two half forkfuls and it was finished, baby salad, two half slices of tomato, with tzatziki sauce that tasted neither of garlic nor cucumber, bronze-colored fried potatoes. This is not for a €5 "walk-through" pita, but for a €14 dish if I remember correctly. I'll try again in some time, but for now... better a ham sandwich...

10/07/2024: SUPERLATIVE KEBAB. Incredible. Unexpected. Out of the ordinary experience. You come in and say "come on, let's have the usual kebab" and with the usual attitude of someone who doesn't expect anything you order it. Meanwhile, a homely air welcomes you "hello handsome, hello dear" with smiles that not even my mother ever showed me when I returned from Vietnam. Then, as you look out of the corner of your eye beyond the pizza toppings you see the touch of class: bread made by them with the pizza dough, as big as two of Gianni Morandi's hands. And there begins the second part of the show: fill this sandwich with a kilo and a half of kebab with all the toppings you like, then, pass it in the oven (strictly the pizza oven, no microwave) to mix the flavors and off you go, after payment the dish is served. After a "hello dear, hello beautiful, hello cool" I left enthusiastic and ready to do the tasting test. As large as it was, the kebab was devoured in a few seconds, in a whirlwind of sensations that words cannot describe. Thanks guys from mister pizza for this kebab that I will never forget. P.S. all this happened at 2pm on a Monday. No drugs or alcohol were used while testing this wonderful product of theirs.
