Immersed in the scents of the Mantua countryside, just down from the banks of the Oglio River, this restaurant welcomes guests into a rustic and romantic atmosphere, where time seems to slow down amidst wrought iron, exposed stone, and retro-style tablecloths. The cuisine offers traditional local dishes, carefully prepared using genuine ingredients, evoking familiar and comforting flavors without truly surprising. It's a shame that the enchantment is lost in the wait: the slow and inattentive service tests even the most patient souls. A delightful place for the eyes, but less so for the hungry.

A special place that I've recommended to several friends without hesitation. I recommend the trio of frogs, catfish, and sardines, as well as the cooked shoulder. The atmosphere is old-fashioned, in a good way.

Everything was excellent, all kinds of ravioli and super catfish, I took a double portion for dinner at home, next time I come with Pes gat, frogs then I'll see if I can get up from the table 😊
