07/07/2025: Apart from the fact that I don't find any type of comment from the owners correct before I've even written a word, but given only the ratings, I now confirm them all even if they were provisional.
Then I add that thank goodness they were saved with the mixed fried food, because with the spaghetti with clams, ok, good, but nothing special; the starter with polenta and cod was good, but cold. Furthermore, a table with other unknown people separated by a plexiglass divider is not permitted.
Ok, maybe I exaggerated a little, but that's the average with those who give 5 stars regardless.
07/07/2025: Paolo and his staff were exceptional, very warm and attentive. This is the third time we have been their guests in the last year. The courses on the tasting menu are many and refined. We asked for an encore of many proposals and were always satisfied. It's difficult to still have free space in your stomach for the last two very generous courses (mixed fry and grill), luckily you can take away what you can't finish :) See you next time!

19/07/2025: Excellent dinner, top-quality raw fish, delicious appetizers, shrimp with peaches were top notch! The desserts were also delicious. Sabina was an exceptional hostess, and the quality/price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended.

13/07/2025: Abbiamo ordinato una costata e per 2 volte l’hanno portata che puzzava e sapeva di marcio. Immangiabile. Però abbiamo compreso che col caldo fosse una cosa che poteva succedere, ci hanno anche spiegato di aver avuto un problema col sottovuoto e non abbiamo proferito lamentela al riguardo. Dopo averglielo fatto notare GENTILMENTE, la cameriera gentilissima ha continuato a scusarsi, mentre la proprietaria terrificante è venuta dicendoci che la prima ha avuto un problema ma la seconda era perfetta, estremamente maleducata, per poi continuare ad indicarci e guardarci male da dietro al bancone.
I primi davvero buoni, ma per la presenza della proprietaria non ne vale la pena.
Signora, se non sa comunicare col pubblico dovrebbe trovare un lavoro che non preveda il doverci interagire. Grazie
22/06/2025: Mrs. Marisa and Sofia excellent hosts.. inimitable fried dumplings.. divine dinner with ravioli al monteveronese and asparagus, sublime panzanella and desserts.. what can I say... whoever tastes it comes back... and we will come back... because Osteria al Cantone is a name and a guarantee❤️❤️

28/06/2025: Yesterday, we had a very disappointing experience at your restaurant. Firstly, no one came to offer us a drink when we arrived. Then, my main course was served before the starter. When we asked about this, a man who appeared to be one of the owners responded rudely,shouting at other staff, claiming he didn’t understand us (even though we were speaking Italian), and mocking us by laughing and making fun of us. During our meal, he continued to walk by our table, staring and laughing in an arrogant and unprofessional manner. This behavior was unacceptable and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Thank you for ruining our son’s birthday.

15/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo posto per una cena di com'pleanno. Ci siamo ritornati perchè in altre occasioni ci siamo trovati bene. Il posto all'esterno è carino. Il servizio con poca cortesia e con lunghissimi tempi di attesa, Dobbiamo aspettare per avere i menu che vengano raccolti da altri tavoli (evidentemente ne hanno pochi). Uno solo di noi ordina il primo e gli altri gli antipasti e ci viene detto che il primo non può essere servito assieme agli antipasti. Dopo oltre un'ora di attesa viene sevito il risotto con le rane appena discreto ma con porzione munuscola. Le rane fritte servite come secondo sapevano solo di impanatura ed erano fritte male. Discreti i dolci. Per giustificare i lunghi tempi di attesa ci comunicano che sono scarsi di personale (come se questo fosse un problema del cliente). Alla fine le cameriere passavano (questa volta velocemente) per farci capire di andarcene. Per quanto servito ed il modo in cui viene fatto, il prezzo è troppo alto. Dopo questa esperienza penso che non torneremo più.
16/03/2025: Classica trattoria trovata di passaggio dove fare un buon pranzo in famiglia. L'atmosfera ci è piaciuta tanto. Abbiamo assaporato la buona cucina mantovana. Risotto alle rane (spolpate) molto delicato. Strepitosi e ben conditi i tortelli alla zucca con sugo di salamella.
Il tutto ad un prezzo davvero ragionevole.

23/02/2025: Reginella è un posto in cui si torna sempre volentieri: piatti di cucina locale molto curati e realizzati “come a casa”, porzioni abbondanti (che di questi tempi iniziano a essere una rarità) e ambiente accogliente. Apprezziamo anche la cortesia del servizio e il buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.
Super consigliato!

03/06/2025: Sono stato con la mia famiglia in questo piccolo albergo il weekend scorso.
Proprietaria gentile e disponibile, stanza pulita e dotata di quanto è necessario (asciugamani, phon, frigorifero).
Colazione varia e solo dolce.
Prezzo super economico.
Consiglio per chi è in zona e non ha grosse pretese.
