The menu focuses on Mantuan specialties and is excellent. The environment certainly needs to be reviewed as it is a very noisy room. Medium-high prices but the risottos are well made.

True and pure trattoria, you eat like God. Classic Mantuan cuisine... Risottos and.....not recommended for dieticians!!!

Siamo andati a pranzo di domenica, con un'aspettativa decisamente alta sui risotti. Ambiente alla mano, molto grande, per cui la sala dove eravamo seduti era un filino rumorosa, causa un paio di tavolate formato famiglia. Io ho preso una porzione di riso con la salamella, mentre mia moglie e e sua zia un tris di risotti (alle rane, con il pescegatto e con i saltarei), di secondo loro un fritto misto (con anguilla credo..) ed io uno stracotto di cinghiale con polenta. Chiusura con ananas, un sorbetto ed un dolce (chiamato indeciso e qualcosa...). Che dire, porzioni abbondantissime, sui risotti invece mi sono parsi non eccezionali, non tanto quanto per il gusto in sè, ma più che altro per la cottura, molti chicchi erano un po' indietro di cottura. Buono lo stracotto, anche se per mio gusto personale preferisco una polenta cremosa e non quella che ormai si vede sempre di più servita a "fette". Buono il caffè alla fiamma ed il vino della casa. Prezzi decisamente onesti.

Location molto spartana, molto famigliare, menù della tradizione mantovana, punto forte i risotti…discreti i tortelli di zucca… nel complesso esperienza positiva… complimenti a Raffaella per la sua simpatia e professionalità…
