06/03/2026: A trattoria with a business lunch. Having enjoyed it previously, we decided to return. Unfortunately, this time it went very badly... the dishes were plentiful, but the quality was truly poor. The matriciana was a very acidic sauce with guanciale (or pancetta?) that tasted like it had been boiled; you could only taste sour and salty. The pecorino cheese may have been forgotten... very fatty, low-quality meat. The service was questionable; the staff was friendly, but it almost seemed (or almost not) like they were rushing to clear our plates. Honestly, I'd prefer smaller portions, even paying a little more if necessary, but eating decent food since we're in Italy. I hope it was just a bad day or a temporary situation, since a few months ago the situation was very different. Response to the owner: I'd be curious to know what the falsehoods are. Please respond in detail. There were four of us, and we all had the exact same impression. I thought about giving you another chance, but I'm sorry for the arrogance with which you responded, but you don't deserve it. You should do some soul-searching and reread my reviews, as there are several worthy establishments I've given excellent ratings to.

17/01/2026: Today, January 17th, is the third time we have had lunch in this restaurant... for me it is my Lady, it is a truly spectacular place and cuisine!

20/07/2025: I stopped in for a quick lunch. The place is convenient and you can grab a quick bite, and they have a daily menu. They're very friendly and kind. The food is simple and good. I recommend it.

22/10/2025: Located in the historic center of Atripalda, this place is really cute, like walking into an American pub. The carbonara sandwich is really excellent. To park, follow the signs and go up the hill to the parking lot, which doesn't require a parking spot.

09/12/2025: I'll limit my review to the food and ambiance: the food was good, and the family atmosphere that reigns during lunch or dinner is lovely. I'd rather focus on the service, which I gave top marks to thanks to Ms. Pinuccia, who was truly the restaurant's best asset. Even though we arrived unexpectedly, they had a table of 25 people to serve, as well as other tables of couples and small families, she made the wait easy and short. We had told her that, unfortunately, we were there by chance and couldn't afford much time, and she managed to make us relax, making us feel like part of the family with her warmth and kindness. So the wait was less boring and even (thanks also to the kitchen) shorter than we expected. Praiseworthy, thank you, Pinuccia, we'll be back to visit you and enjoy other dishes at Genovese 2. Thanks also to the kitchen, truly kind and helpful.

04/02/2026: I went with a group of my friends to eat a pizza, for God's sake the food was good but the pizza chefs were not so good, starting from the fact that they made the wrong pizza for me, they even had the nerve to look at us badly all evening and despite everything when it came to paying they started arguing among themselves, for the service compliments to the waiters and the lady a little less for the husband, I think I understood very arrogant

08/01/2026: The pizza isn't bad, the ingredients are good, but you can't see the menu. So many pizzas are practically the same. Some are unrealistic, like the ones with boiled vegetables... odd prices. It's better to order pizzas and add toppings later for some variations. The placemat and basket with cutlery and bread inside are invisible. A cute, vintage place, but it could use a bit of a dusting.

10/12/2025: Good first courses and friendly and helpful staff, prices are a bit high compared to other places... the only downside is that the place is too small and cramped.

29/11/2025: If they learned to manage reservations well, it would also be a good place to feed themselves but the inability to manage reservations remains a strong con.

28/02/2026: We called to make a reservation for seven people at the pizzeria upstairs. They told us they don't take reservations. We asked if it would be risky to come for 8:15/8:00 PM and they said we'd have to wait a maximum of five minutes, reassuring us that since they opened the pizzeria, no one has ever been left stranded. Result: they left seven people stranded, three of them children, due to their lack of honesty. We've been customers at this restaurant for years, both for Easter and for our daughter's confirmation. Disappointment aside, I recommend starting to consider reservations because this isn't the 18th century.
