09/12/2025: I'll limit my review to the food and ambiance: the food was good, and the family atmosphere that reigns during lunch or dinner is lovely. I'd rather focus on the service, which I gave top marks to thanks to Ms. Pinuccia, who was truly the restaurant's best asset. Even though we arrived unexpectedly, they had a table of 25 people to serve, as well as other tables of couples and small families, she made the wait easy and short. We had told her that, unfortunately, we were there by chance and couldn't afford much time, and she managed to make us relax, making us feel like part of the family with her warmth and kindness. So the wait was less boring and even (thanks also to the kitchen) shorter than we expected. Praiseworthy, thank you, Pinuccia, we'll be back to visit you and enjoy other dishes at Genovese 2. Thanks also to the kitchen, truly kind and helpful.

26/11/2025: I've been here several times for a business lunch. Excellent home cooking, in my opinion. The set menu is €11, and the portions are more than adequate. I'd love to return to try the stone-ground pizza. The place isn't big, so it's best to reserve a table or arrive a little early for lunch. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Table service is very fast. A great place for a business lunch and more. After a while, I've returned. Today I had the stone-ground pizza. It's really good, definitely worth trying. Top service, as always.

14/12/2025: Great location with plenty of parking right in the courtyard. Unfortunately, the hall was far too loud. It was nearly impossible to talk to your neighbor, or you practically had to shout (it wasn't clear whether we were in a disco or a restaurant, just kidding). The food was okay, nothing special, but nothing bad either. However, there was a wait of over an hour between the appetizer and the first course (risotto). This was completely unacceptable. We wanted to eat around lunchtime, not in the middle of the afternoon...

06/12/2025: An "honest" place The dishes are well-prepared but nothing stands out. The service is courteous and helpful. The atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable, perhaps a little noisy and poorly soundproofed. Be careful when entering, because the one on Google Maps puts you in the middle of fields, and in the middle of the night with the fog, there's a high risk of getting stuck.

12/10/2025: A beautiful, historic venue, truly a gem. The young, very polite staff clearly work with passion and know they're offering a high-quality product that few can match. The scrocchia is incredibly delicious; I highly recommend sharing the whole peel, as it'll be a memorable meal. The red beer was perhaps even better than the pizza. The shift management was very well thought out; we ate at our leisure, even on Saturday night. In short, go there.
