10/12/2024: It has been on the Michelin guide for many years, but I don't really understand why. We chose two dishes from the special truffle menu. The waitress asked us with a warning look if we wanted truffles on tartare and fillet and we said yes. Despite this I saw very little truffle, the tartare was good but dry, the fillet was not bad but not very tender and we drank low quality bubbles. The bill was very expensive as warned. Finally, be careful when crossing the road to access the restaurant. It is on a dangerous curve because the road is used by cross-border workers.
03/12/2024: Servizio 10, Prezzo 9 , Menu 10 Atmosfera 10 . Bellissimo posto, menù vario, ottimamente congegnato con queste rivisitazioni delicate e discrete di piatti tipici della zona. Pamela la titolare con i suoi bravissimi collaboratori ti coccolano facendoti sentire a casa. Si vede che c'è tanta passione e dove c' è la passione, c'è la qualità. E qui ci siamo alla grande.

13/10/2024: I live in Switzerland and every time my parents visit me we come here to have lunch because the food is delicious and the prices are fair.
05/10/2024: A crotto that I always gladly return to, the welcome and kindness is a winning card!!! Very good food, fish is their specialty. The meat is good and the pizzas are very good. Our mascots are always welcome!!! Their digestive offered with almonds is very welcome!!!

27/01/2025: I returned after years, he is still the owner, I ate very well.
For the service I gave one star less because we waited a long time between the starter and the main course... Then everything was perfect.
16/01/2025: A little hidden restaurant but worth visiting. Very varied menu with numerous specialities. Excellent standard of food.
A little difficult to find parking every now and then but a secondary problem.

27/10/2024: Located on a nice side street. with a wonderful lake view - from the terrace. The terrace is protected from the weather, so it is also open in October. The restaurant is simple but good. It offers a really good 2-course lunch with water and café for €13. The owner is grumpy, but usually stands at the stove, which is a good thing. He can cook. The pizza is also delicious. The service is provided with commitment by very friendly employees with a migration background. Tables and rooms and of course the terrace are clean. Maybe the boss only looks at me grumpily because I judge him ungraciously when he sits down at the next table with his cigarette. I've been going to lunch for years because it's good and filling.
You have to look for parking spaces along the street. A little difficult in high season but possible. What's great about the location is that the museum "Museo della Barca Lariana" is right next to it. Stunning!! Completely inconspicuous from the outside, one surprise after another inside. Even the only Porsche boat engine can be seen (1964?). The Spinacker restaurant and the museum are closed in the winter months even though they have nothing to do with each other.

04/08/2024: Twee nachten, lunch en avondeten het was allemaal top. Vriendelijk mensen en een leuke ligging. Heerlijke bedjes aan het meer en voortreffelijke zwemmen.
14/07/2024: Tutto perfetto: location, accoglienza, servizio, pulizia, qualità. Il risotto mantecato con pesce persico inimitabile , i dolci sopraffini. Tornati dopo qualche anno, non delude mai

23/09/2024: Wir wurden sehr aufmerksam und freundlich bedient. Gutes Essen bei sehr akzeptablen Preisen. Bei Tag eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf den See.
10/09/2024: Il locale, semplice, si trova accanto al santuario della Madonna della Caravina e dalla sua terrazza, dove trovano posto una decina di tavoli (è consigliabile prenotare), si gode di una vista sul lago di Lugano che a definire eccezionale è sin riduttivo.
Come se non bastasse, l'accoglienza è calorosa (anche se noi eravamo lì per la prima volta a differenze di altri commensali) e il cibo ottimamente cucinato. I piatti si possono ordinare alla carta o scegliere dalle proposte del giorno (un primo e un secondo ad euro 25). Noi abbiamo optato per il menù del giorno a cui abbiamo aggiunto un ottimo dessert.

11/08/2024: Bardzo czyste pokoje w pełni wyposażone i urocza właścicielka. Pyszne jedzenie i cudowne widoki. Polecam wszystkim. Napewno jeszcze tutaj wrócę. Zakochałem się w tym miejscu.
22/07/2024: Io e una mia amica ci siano recate questa mattina al caffè del Viaggiatore per la colazione. Ci siamo sedute al primo tavolo libero al sole. La persona presente al bar ci ha invitato in malo modo a spostarci, perché quel tavolo era riservato "ai suoi ospiti" (come se noi fossimo ospiti di serie b). Le abbiamo gentilmente fatto presente che non sapevamo fosse riservato, vista la totale mancanza di indicazioni e con maleducazione e aria di sufficienza ci ha risposto che era ovvio. Ha preso l'ordinazione in modo brusco e sbrigativo, informandoci che erano rimaste solo due tipi di brioche (alle 845). Quando ci ha servito, sempre in malo modo, la mia amica stava per spostare un giornale dal nostro tavolo per fare spazio alla colazione e lei le ha urlato di non appoggiare il giornale per terra, cosa che la mia amica non aveva alcuna intenzione di fare. Spiace per questa maleducazione e mancanza di gentilezza, perché San Mamete è un gioiello e la colazione in questo bar
discreta.

13/07/2024: Sono tornato dopo diversi anni in questo ristorante e devo dire che la qualità del cibo è sempre ottima. Vino rosé non freddo unica pecca. Per il resto location da brividi, un panorama stupendo. Personale molto attento e cordiale.
