17/01/2026: One evening, I had an aperitivo (a platter) and tried their wild boar tartare: everything was delicious!
Good wine and a very light and carefree atmosphere.
A huge thank you to Deborah and Joost: two wonderful people, incredibly helpful and very friendly!

13/01/2026: We have been coming to La Darsena for a long time now, everything is always top-notch, the welcome, the rooms, the restaurant, the waiters, the food, Thank you for the welcome you give us every time.
05/01/2026: What creeps to make my dessert look like male genitalia. I tried to upload a photo but it kept getting rejected.... probably because it was so vulgar. The dessert was taking a really long time and the waiter said it was being handmade. Such trashy behavior. Also, the bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on with a huge depression in the mattress.

We stopped in for a quick lunch as we were passing through, but they made us feel right at home!

Attentive and hospitable management, capable of making every customer feel at home.
The service, led with grace and lightness by Diletta, completes the experience with a rare touch: one that lingers in the memory even after many years and places have passed, making you want to return!

23/09/2025: A very cozy and pleasant café! The staff was very friendly, and the service was quick and courteous. The food was delicious, and the house wine was excellent. We were there with our dog and stroller—everything was possible without any problems. Overall, very tasty and reasonably priced.
11/09/2025: A truly unique restaurant that I wouldn't want to miss. Everything is excellent from start to finish. I love it. There's plenty of parking nearby. Unfortunately, the restaurant will be closing its doors for good at the end of September 2025.

24/01/2026: The hotel is very old. Need to some upgrades. For example, there is no ramp to bring your luggages to the counter.
Restaurants was nice.
01/11/2025: I stayed at this hotel from October 25th to 29th in a double room (801) with a Royer Voyage group. The room was very clean and well-equipped (safe, small refrigerator, toiletries). We had a small balcony overlooking the lake.
As for the food, there was a wide variety of choices, especially at the breakfast buffet. We ate very well. The waitstaff was truly excellent: efficient, kind, smiling, and attentive (special mention to Selvina for her kindness).
I recommend it and will return if the opportunity arises. Don't forget to try the Aperol Spritz at the bar.

18/10/2025: A definite highlight of our trip to Lake Como. The view is spectacular, even at night!
We're a younger American couple and we were treated very kindly by all the staff, so I was surprised to see other reviews stating differently. Marlene, our server, was especially charming and made the evening fun!
Our meal was delicious from the beginning with the olive tapenade and the goat cheese+veg app. If you go, absolutely get the tiramasu for dessert - the best I've ever had!
We hadn't planned to stop here, but walking in the area is difficult (get a taxi, it's worth it), and in the end I'm so glad we did!

15/11/2025: And this entire bakery gets it. They boast about using top-quality flours (which they charge like gold), but the final product is embarrassingly ordinary. Stay away from their pizzas and focaccias; they're terrifying and you'll digest them two days later.

09/10/2025: Be aware they take advantage of tourist here! Atmosphere is amazing, food was good, drink was fair, bill was ridiculously expensive but the real kicker was when time to go we asked them to get us a taxi and that’s when things got bad. Should be easy right, not with this place. A Maserati shows up not a taxi, thirty minutes late and they forced us to pay 160 Euros. A Uber was four minutes away and would have cost half that. We got hosed by a really fancy hotel concierge and his counterpart at the hostess stand!

11/05/2025: This was one of the few restaurants I went to where there was more than one thing on the menu I was tempted by and we ate there twice as we enjoyed it so much. The cannelloni with ricotta was very tasty. Like many restaurants in the area it is separated from the lake by the road but you still get the tranquil view. It was good value and very convenient for our hotel. Their cakes were also to be recommended.
06/05/2025: Claramente no les gustan los estadounidenses. Pedimos raviolis y nos sirvieron tortelinos congelados con salsa terrible. Dijeron que hubo un malentendido. Sin embargo, oímos a alguien pedir lo mismo y se les sirvió el mismo tortellini congelado. No recomiendo este restaurante en absoluto. .
