20/05/2025: We were a group of nine people, consisting of two families, and were lucky enough to even get a table – without a prior reservation, it would have been impossible. We were seated in the "winter garden," and it quickly became clear that we weren't part of the usual clientele. The parking lot was rapidly filling up with luxury cars, and the restaurant teemed with well-heeled customers. The service was generally attentive, but unfortunately, despite communicating in Italian, there were some obvious misunderstandings. This started with the aperitif: We were refused a Campari soda because it wasn't on the menu. All the ingredients were available – it would have been easy to fulfill our request. The biggest discrepancies, however, occurred with the food: The adults had ordered appetizers, while the children were supposed to receive their main courses at the same time to avoid waiting. Instead, all the main courses arrived together, and the appetizers arrived shortly after. When we asked, we received only the brief explanation: "The pizzaiolo is faster than the kitchen." Such miscoordination simply cannot happen, regardless of who sets the pace in the kitchen! The pizza itself was a bit bland in taste, but the food was otherwise fine, and the portion sizes were appropriate for the kids. By the time we were finished, we clearly felt that our time was up. It seemed as if our satisfaction was secondary to the desire to generate the next sale.

24/05/2025: Small place and therefore not very crowded. Few tables and quite far from each other, which avoids having to hear the chatter of other guests. Very kind service and rather simple dishes, but very tasty. I would go back without a doubt.

19/05/2025: A small but fine restaurant. The dishes on offer not only sound good, they also taste excellent. The service was very attentive, and the ambiance was just what you'd expect from a good Italian restaurant. We'd be happy to return.

12/05/2025: What can I say at the Vecchia Griglia you can breathe an air of passion, union and happiness for your profession, you enter and you immediately notice that there is fantastic grill, meat masterfully cooked with beech wood and Tuscan wood, my partner and I opted for a Vaca Veja which was infinitely sweet, attentive, fast and friendly service, a positive note also for Simone known as "Simonello" for his colleagues, a very nice person who recommended an enveloping Primitivo di Manduria and with notes of white pepper, perfect pairing with meat! Congratulations guys we will be back soon

05/05/2025: The venue offers a splendid view of the lake and a nice area for outdoor dining. The food is quite good, with fish dishes as specialities. We ordered the guitar with lobster and it was fantastic, the desserts are also a must try (especially the tiramisu). But, the best part of the experience was the service; all the waiters and staff were fast, friendly and provided excellent customer service.

20/05/2025: Di passaggio da un viaggio ci siamo fermati a mangiare una pizza e, pur essendo domenica e non avendo prenotato, non ci sono stati problemi. Pizza molto buona e ben condita. La cameriera molto gentile e professionale attenta alle esigenze di tutti i clienti Prezzi buoni per essere a Sirmione. Consigliatissimo

11/05/2025: Since we discovered it, La Rucola has quickly risen to the top of the list of our favorite restaurants/trattorias. Genuine and traditional dishes, welcoming atmosphere, you feel like you're at your mother's or grandmother's house (the kind who know how to cook). Special honorable mention for the homemade watermelon jam, to be enjoyed with ricotta or squacquerone. 😍 But it's really worth trying the whole menu at least once.

23/05/2025: Warm and welcoming environment, enchanting landscape and excellent cuisine with very interesting gluten-free proposals. The jewel in the crown: Bronte green pistachio ice cream.

20/05/2025: Really good pizzas with a special kind of dough. Light, thick, and crispy. Great and tasty variations. Beautiful view of Lake Garda. We'd gladly go back.
