26/05/2025: BAD MANNERS REIGN We stopped at the Da Giusy restaurant for a quick break after a walk with our 7-month-old dog (mixed breed). We sat down (obviously with the dog on a leash) and the waitress kindly approached us to ask what we wanted. Out of the blue, the owner of the place came out telling us that the dog had to be kept on a leash. At which point we pointed out that it already was and he was annoyed and told us that he didn't want wild dogs in his place (we were sitting outside and there was no sign indicating that dogs were not allowed). He told us to leave because he wouldn't serve us without letting us speak and with truly arrogant and rude ways. During all this, the dog was very calm and was looking for cuddles from the waitress. The waitress herself pointed out to him that he was exaggerating because the dog was in fact just a puppy and she felt like she was being scolded badly too. During all this we couldn't even open our mouths, we got up and left. Every restaurant has its own policy regarding dogs and (even though we don't agree) we respect it. What we can't accept, however, are the ways in which they approach customers, the lack of respect and rudeness. Maybe good manners and respect should be brushed up every now and then... or learned from scratch if you don't know them since you work with people!

15/04/2025: A very interesting place to relax with music and excellent views. There is a bar upstairs and a restaurant downstairs. Meals from the restaurant can also be ordered outside, but you have to go upstairs to get drinks in ski boots because the lady from the restaurant won't bring them :( - 1 star less for that! Large bombardini, good coffee, good lasagna (others rate it as excellent, but I've had better), nice views around and the location right next to a nice slope. It's a pity that you have to travel a long way from the pass. The toilet is downstairs next to the restaurant. Toilet clean.

23/03/2025: Refuge on the slopes in Temù on the roccolo Ventura slope from which the bar takes its name on two floors, upstairs there is a bar and an outdoor panoramic terrace and downstairs there is a self-service restaurant. There are lots of staff and they are all really very kind and helpful, so a strong point of the place is also the staff, there is the possibility of having a gluten-free menu for celiacs on request before ordering because it is done on purpose, the prices are quite average with the area and the portions are really very generous, so in any case there is a good quality/price ratio. We saw that they sell the beer dedicated to Passo Del Tonale, but we have not tried it yet (see photo).

05/04/2025: Very spacious quadruple room, with double bed and bunk beds, large bathroom and balcony overlooking the main road, spacious and plenty of space to store suitcases, not to be underestimated. Absolutely largest room found in the various hotels visited. Impeccable cleaning service. 10 and praise. Very comfortable beds Rich breakfast especially in the dessert section, excellent pancakes. Decent buffet dinner and served meals, perhaps little choice between first and second courses, ok for us adults but little variety for the children even if on request they prepared schnitzel and chips and omelettes, delicious. Excellent room service by Ferdinando, professional but very friendly. He carries out his work with passion and dedication. Professional owners, a bit cold, did not trust customers or give advice on what there was to do or see. However, the service was impeccable. The structure is a little dated, but the rooms are renovated and accurate. You can feel that the building has a history, the managers have been ski instructors for generations, photos of Alberto Tomba everywhere who stayed here when he trained on the Presena. The strong point is the proximity to everything, super central, pharmacy opposite and a stone's throw from the ski rental (they have an agreement with By Maestri rental) and direct access from the rental to the Valena slope, night skiing twice a week (an experience to be had!) The wellness center didn't impress us but there are many facilities in the surrounding area with the possibility of access for external guests.p

28/03/2025: Absolutamente increíble para pasar la noche aquí! Hermosas habitaciones, la mejor ubicación de spa - no puede superar sentarse en la bañera de hidromasaje al aire libre mirando hacia arriba a las hermosas montañas nevadas , sauna increíble y vistas a la piscina de chorro cubierta también ! Toques encantadores como fruta fresca, bocados de pastel y bebidas en la zona de spa. V fresco decoración alpina moderna. Cena gourmet de 4 platos incluida. Y la mejor ventaja es esquiar directamente por la puerta por la mañana antes del desayuno para ser el primero en pista virgen! Nos encantó, gracias!

03/05/2025: We went to their house last night for dinner. The staff is really kind. Friendly and attentive towards us and towards the children. We ate very well. Quality dishes at an excellent price. We absolutely recommend.

15/04/2025: Efficiently served drinks, food in the self-service section, so you decide what you want to eat. It's warm inside, the toilets are clean. Lots of tables outside with glass protection from the wind. Tables were cleaned efficiently.

18/04/2025: First time we buy pastries in this wonderful pastry shop in Ponte di Legno, on the recommendation of friends and we are really satisfied! 5 stars plus! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The quality of the pastries is excellent, a wide choice of both cream and dry pastries. It is also possible to have cakes made to order. The environment is very welcoming, clean and modern, with the possibility of consuming on site. Strong point: the staff is absolutely helpful, kind and makes you feel like a special customer as soon as you enter... so I absolutely recommend it!

14/04/2025: Beautiful location on the slopes in a depression under the cable car from Ponte di Legno and under the road. Better to visit it in full season (I was at the end of March and it was already in the meadows...). Food ok, not memorable.

03/05/2025: Il ristorante Cavallino è per noi un posto del cuore. Ci veniamo da quasi 30 anni e non ci stanchiamo mai ! I piatti sono eccellenti e ben presentati, il locale è confortevole, il servizio è cortese. Le due sorelle in sala garantiscono la gentilezza in sala e la terza sorella in cucina prepara le prelibatezze. Top l'antipasto cavallino ed il risotto silter e ortiche. Super Consigliato!
