21/02/2026: One star because less is not possible, rude staff and poor food, at 10.30 we asked for a bread basket and were told it was sold out.
17/02/2026: Good value for money, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious and well-presented dishes, and some of their own wines, "Il Calepino." We'll definitely be back.

28/02/2026: If you're in the area and don't come here, you're missing out on so much: delicious meat, excellent platters, and desserts, to boot.
The weird thing is, we stumbled upon it by chance, just walking around.
Come and try it for yourself, I really, really recommend it.

22/02/2026: Excellent restaurant with a meat menu. My partner has been coming here for a while and decided to bring us with our 3.5-year-old son, and there was a special menu for him with a choice of first and second courses. The restaurant is very beautiful and has a lake view. The meat is delicious and expertly cooked. The staff is helpful and friendly. I especially thank Mary for keeping my son entertained. We will definitely be back.

16/02/2026: Typical cuisine, with a modern and elegant twist, generous portions, from Montisola sardines with polenta, to risotto with quail, beef in oil, cod on squid ink puree.... desserts... a delicious and enjoyable dinner. Also interesting is the occasional menu change, which unfortunately few restaurants do. Beautiful entrance (restaurant hidden in a lovely courtyard). Simple, essential room, no frills, but very interesting cuisine.

A welcoming yet original atmosphere.
Excellent ingredients prepared with skill and respect, and great expertise, especially in the cooking.
Riccardo accompanies you from start to finish with passion and a desire to explain the dishes, without ever being intrusive.

08/03/2026: We went for a romantic dinner on Saturday evening. The atmosphere was elegant, the service professional and friendly, and there was no waiting time between courses. The dishes were exquisite and sophisticated, and you could see the chef's care and attention to detail in his creations. I loved the shrimp soup, truly amazing.
The prices, in my opinion, were fair for this lake-view location.
08/03/2026: I'm not going to judge the atmosphere; it's nothing special, with lots of tables packed together with a view of the lake, four perfectly normal boats, a bridge with the river across it (because it's a river, the lake view is something else), a busy street, but the cook, given the prices, still has a lot to learn.
A bad experience, I definitely won't be back again!!!

16/02/2026: A delightful discovery in the center of Sarnico. We stopped here the night before Valentine's Day—we'd called to ask if reservations were necessary, but they confirmed they weren't. Luckily, the place wasn't crowded that night, thanks to the weather.
The wine selection includes wines from all regions, where you can choose either a glass (from a selection of bottles) or a bottle to taste. We paired our red wine with a charcuterie and cheese platter—we couldn't resist asking for a second helping of the caramelized onion, it was out of this world!
Price depends heavily on the wine selection, of course, but with a good red and the accompanying platter, we spent about €45 for two.

05/10/2025: What a beautiful place! I’ve never seen such a charming flower shop before. There is a bistro in the same building. Lovely coffee, pastries and cakes, outstanding deco topped with smiley and friendly staff. We ended up going there few times a day. No doubt our favorite place for a coffee stop.
29/09/2025: A truly breathtaking venue: a renovated former train station, nestled between Lake Iseo and the Franciacorta vineyards. An elegant concept encompassing a flower boutique, a confectionery shop, a café-bar, and a bistro. The postcard-perfect atmosphere is perfect for an aperitif, brunch, or simply a relaxing break in a special place.
It's a bit pricey compared to a regular café, and the selection of snacks isn't extensive, but the ambiance, atmosphere, and service make for an absolutely delightful experience.

28/10/2025: Not the best experience. Though I have to admit that the food is incredibly tasty. Compliments to the shef. We have been here in August. It had to be a family dinner, a birthday party for our daughter who loves the Japanese cousin. But we have not enjoyed the evening because it took ages to wait for the first course and unbearably long even for the second. By the time you are finally served the very small portions you are starving. Not a fun. We did not bother with the desert. We took the daughter for the desert next day to an othe place.
