22/05/2025: **5/5 stars – Simply wonderful!** The **Speckstube** in Limone is an absolute must! We loved the **Speckplatte**, the **Gnocchi with spinach**, and the **Bruschetta** – the tomatoes were sweet and fresh. A glass of **Limoncello** and **Grappa**… simply perfect! The atmosphere is cozy, the food is outstanding, and the service is top-notch. **Anytime again – definitely a visit if you're in Limone!** 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

21/05/2025: Went here for our last night and had a brilliant time. The food was perfect. 👌 We had ravioli and lake sardine pizza with tiramasu for dessert. Friendly service and a cosy atmosphere. A hidden gem 👍 grazie

08/05/2025: We had a wonderful evening at Osteria da Livio. For starters, we had carpaccio. The portion was very large and perfect for sharing. For main course, we had spaghetti carbonara. It was super delicious and creamy. We also had spare ribs with fries. The portion was generous, and the meat fell off the bone. For dessert, we had tiramisu. Highly recommended! We also got a shot of schnapps on the house with the bill.

09/05/2025: Delicious pizza with a lake view – a real insider tip! We were completely impressed by the Pizzeria Tovo in Limone! The pizzas were not only extremely tasty, but also really big - everyone gets their money's worth. Crispy base, fresh ingredients and perfectly baked - that's exactly how a pizza should taste! The atmosphere was particularly nice: cozy, relaxed and with a wonderful view of Lake Garda. A place to enjoy and linger. The friendly staff made the visit even more pleasant - attentive, warm and always with a smile. If you're in Limone and want really good pizza with a view, you should definitely stop by here!

10/05/2025: Stylish ambience and very good and attentive service. The restaurant may be a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it. The "vino bianco della casa" was very good.

25/04/2025: Very characteristic place, outside the usual tourist menus. Very refined dishes with fresh, quality products, prepared and assembled with particularity but without distorting the raw material too much. The owners are very kind and friendly with friendly service. Good value for money. I recommend this place.

05/06/2025: I walked with a guide on the percorso natura, from Limone up the footpath beside the tumbling St Giovanni stream, passing the waterfall to this little bar/restaurant (with accommodation). There are good views of the lake and Malcesine from the restaurant terrace. Then we walked along to the olive mill, and back down to Limone passing the pretty little church at chiesa di San Pietro. That's worth a look. A really enjoyable path, our small group took 4 hours at a gentle or moderate pace to complete the circuit (including a drinks stop here for around 25 minutes or so). The section back down on the tarmac road is easier than the ascent, but isn't as nice as the path through the forest. Some sections are quite steep, good footwear is needed. You can access La Milanesa by car too.

15/04/2025: We have been coming here regularly for more than 12 years and spend our summer holidays in one of the apartments. This beautiful place, up in the mountain, as the last house, has a long history and is already run by the second or third generation. It is a lovingly run family business, the apartments are simple but very clean and have beautiful balconies from which you have a great view over the lake. In addition to a pool, the garden also includes several sunbathing areas, free parking spaces are available and a small bar with selected, delicious dishes and various drinks leaves nothing to be desired. The price-performance ratio is really exceptionally good. The service is top and the family that runs it is incredibly nice and runs the house with a lot of passion. We will continue to vacation here regularly. A wonderful place to slow down.

27/04/2025: Posto assolutamente delizioso, con vista veramente meravigliosa. Per quanto riguarda la cena (nel nostro caso) molto buona la carne ed è l'unica cosa che posso dire con precisione in quanto non viene fornito un menù e di fatto fino al momento del conto non si sa quanto si spenda. Dallo scontrino non si evince in quanto non viene identificato. Si deduce: Calice di vino rosso (senza sapere):10€; Due strisce di polenta:8€; Piatto di carne per due:25€; Piatto "antipasto": 4€; Bottiglia d'acqua da 75cl; 3€; Patatine fritte:8€; Coperto:4€. Tot. Per due adulti (una bambina di 5 anni) 92€. Lo trovo un pò too much, posto che si spenda alla cieca.

20/05/2025: We had the absolute pleasure of staying five days here. Our suite was just lovely / understated elegance and charm and very spacious. Perfect location. Staff could not have been more accommodating - thank you to Sarah, Serafina (who we had the pleasure of seeing each day at breakfast / our table was always ready for us), Francesco and many others (sorry didn’t get everyone’s name). The house keeping staff were outstanding. We loved this place and would highly recommend it. If we visited Limone again (and hope we do) we would only stay at this property. Very special and memorable stay for sure.

02/06/2025: posizione molto bella, fronte lago,molto affollato ,personale poco pratico, molto confuso, inesperto, bibite rovesciate dai vassoi. il cibo e’ stato ottimo, un po’ cari i prezzi a mio avviso, ma giustamente siamo a inizio stagione e ci sta..crostini molto buoni,pizza ben condita e saporita, pappardelle fresche ai funghi porcini buonissime. migliorare il servizio non sarebbe male… ah salvate i sorbetti che continuavano a cadere ai camerieri dai vassoi…😅
