Be sure to reserve, otherwise you won't get a table.
Quaint old and one of the best restaurants on Lake Idro.
Great outdoor area under the wisteria.
Excellent meat quality. The 1kg steak was to die for. The veal cheeks melted in your mouth. The lamb was on point! The salads and desserts were also really delicious.
The staff was very friendly and attentive.
The prices were quite reasonable.

01/05/2025: The place is not visible from the street but is precisely the most "intimate" place even if it is known, crowded and booking is mandatory, especially on public holidays.
The fried perch is excellent, the frying is not heavy and tasty, the portions are good, the price is affordable.
Friendly, attentive and fast service.
15/04/2025: Everything OK. Very quick in service. If I can make a note, I must refer to the rather limited quantity of cold cuts. For the rest it is always pleasant to enjoy an excellent dish of fried perch 👍👍👍

30/09/2024: Restaurant chosen at random on Google to escape the summer heat in the lower area of Lake Garda.
What a place. Simple but great food, friendly but respectful service. But most of all, a wonderful garden on the lake, where you can experience a peace that is difficult to even imagine.

Das Essen war einfach hervorragend: frisch, authentisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders die Pasta und das Brasato haben uns begeistert. Auch der Wein, den uns der freundliche Service empfohlen hat, passte perfekt zum Essen.
Die Atmosphäre war entspannt und herzlich, man spürt sofort, dass hier Gastfreundschaft großgeschrieben wird. Wir haben jeden Moment genossen und freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!
24/04/2025: This was incredible. The waiter was very friendly, he was also one of the cooks (there were 2 cooks so that's kinda impressive). The view was also very nice. The food was also great I ate the fresh grilled trout, it was really good. The reason I'm giving service 3 stars, because they made us pay 1.5€ for the plates and bread while we didn't get any bread.
Edit: I think I should tell that the 1.5€ was per plate.

04/05/2025: We were passing through. It doesn't look too impressive from the outside, but the food is great. We ate grilled squid, seafood gnocchi and lamb. Everything is fresh, simple and very tasty. We recommend.

17/05/2025: We didn't like the service at the winery/warehouse! Since we didn't have a reservation, we arrived and were not welcomed at all. The staff were completely unfriendly. They barely looked at us!
23/03/2025: We went to dinner a la carte with my partner. Joana's attention was spectacular! Very attentive and willing to please the diner throughout the entire dinner. The food was delicious. It is expensive, but highly recommended. Without a doubt we will return!!

30/05/2025: Perfect and iconic for decades. A meeting place for motorcyclists during the season, with excellent food, perfect coffee, affordable prices, and seating by the lake, it's also suitable for anyone without a motorbike.

This evening I had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria Bella Vista, and I can say without hesitation that it was an exceptional experience. Pizza? Simply the best there is.
The dough is light, fragrant, cooked to perfection. Every bite is an explosion of flavour, thanks to fresh, quality ingredients, carefully chosen and combined with skill. The menu offers a wide variety of pizzas, from the most classic ones to the most creative proposals, all prepared with a passion that can be felt at the first taste.
The staff is kind, welcoming and always smiling, creating a warm and familiar atmosphere. The restaurant is designed with attention to detail, with a view that honors the name of the pizzeria and helps to make dinner even more pleasant.
I recommend Pizzeria Bella Vista to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic pizza, made with love and tradition. I will definitely return, because places like this deserve to be experienced more than once.

11/04/2025: My wife and I found this place almost by chance during a trip to Lake Idro. Both the welcome and the food were a pleasant surprise. Excellent appetizer: platter of cured meats, including local ones, which was appreciated and enjoyed. Polenta with Storo flour with gorgonzola (a combination chosen by my wife, but bagoss, a local cheese, had been recommended to us as cheese) and a plate of penne all'arrabbiata which took me back to when I was a university student in Rome. Excellent value for money. Well, what can I say, we will definitely return and not only for the beauty of the lake and its surroundings, but also to enjoy the food in this place again.

06/10/2024: Cena veloce con due pizze e due birre. Locale che fa anche da bar, bello pieno di gente festosa, confusionario ma che in un certo senso fa atmosfera.
Pizze sottili e buone, costo più che ragionevole, signora che ci ha servito gentilissima, servizio veloce.
