Albergo Ristorante Pizzeria da Arrigo In Idro

Lunch during a motorcycle ride. It wasn't very crowded that day, so the wait was practically zero. Pappardelle with venison ragù for the first course, followed by venison chops with baked potatoes and Storo polenta for the second. Everything was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. Two pappardelle and a second course, two medium and two small beers, and a coffee, for around €80. Arrigo was particularly chatty. Lunch was provided by my friend Marzio, and it was great.

A restaurant and pizzeria with convenient parking, right across the street. The set lunch menu offers excellent variety; we come often. Recommended, and you can also stroll along the lake.

A vegetarian friend and I stopped for lunch during our trip to Lake Idro. The place is spacious and charming, well-maintained, and the service is efficient and attentive. The dishes were all very good, from the bruschetta as an appetizer to the two first courses we had with bagoss (a must in those areas), and even the desserts, all homemade. We also chose this restaurant because of the variety of first courses available for vegetarians, including salads and pizzas. The prices aren't low, but they're not too high either (the desserts seemed a little more expensive than others, but given the quality, I'd say it's justified!). If you're passing by Lake Idro, I recommend stopping by. I'll be back next time I have the chance!
