27/07/2025: Sorriso Restaurant isn't just a restaurant, but a culinary journey that leaves a lasting impression. Although the portions aren't particularly generous, I was thrilled with every single dish, an experience I highly recommend to anyone looking for something more than just a meal. The staff is distinguished by their kindness and impeccable table service. Even our dog was welcome. I'll gladly return!

19/07/2025: The food is pretty good, but unfortunately, they've been very disorganized when it comes to preparing orders for years... they don't take phone orders, so you have to go there and order and wait for them to prepare. The last few times, we've been told a 40-50 minute wait has increased to over an hour! For three slices of pizza, that seems absurd to me. Plus, with kids at home and a strict timetable, we can't afford to eat at 9 pm. It's a shame they've never bothered to fix this; obviously, we won't be returning.

12/07/2025: We often return to La Ruota di Selvino, we are really fond of this place. For us it is a point of reference: the (thick) pizza, from my humble point of view, is the best in the entire province of Bergamo. Even if the road to go up to Selvino is not exactly among our favorites, when you arrive and sit down to eat a pizza like this, it is truly a great satisfaction. I absolutely recommend the large slice: the pizza is stuffed to the max but remains very light. A delight. And it's not just the pizza! The restaurant is also very worth it: truly amazing appetizers and first courses, also cared for in the plating. You can see that there is passion in the kitchen.

26/07/2025: Nice place, and the food is quite good. Personally, I found the venison bites, which are prepared like braised beef, too "alcoholic" and inedible for me. I had them replaced with veal. The rest was good. The children's playroom with the ball pit is very convenient. There was no set menu, only à la carte options.

10/08/2025: A refuge at the summit of Mount Purito, overlooking the town of Selvino. The panoramic view from the outdoor terrace is beautiful. It's also great for a refreshing aperitif after the climb (about a 20-minute walk on a paved road with some challenging slopes). The refuge can also be reached by chairlift.

27/07/2025: Easily accessible on foot via a paved path starting from Via Fiume Serio, where you can leave your car. The hike takes about 15-20 minutes. It's quite uphill but manageable with small children, strollers, and people unfamiliar with the mountains. Near the refuge, there's a very nice adventure park and a mini farm with chickens, donkeys, rabbits, and geese. The refuge is spacious with indoor and outdoor tables. The terrace offers a great view! I personally ate the platter with a beer and a bottle of water. The price was affordable and the quality was excellent (€17). The refuge can also be reached by chairlift (€4 one-way). The trail to the summit of Monte Purito starts from the refuge. The staff are welcoming and helpful. They're always smiling, as always in mountain locations. The service is quick. It's very crowded on weekends. If you'd like to have lunch, it's advisable to book in advance.

28/07/2025: The choice of the second course menu is small, there is no pizza for lunch, only in the evening. Attitude towards foreigners Ukrainians (for some reason the staff is sure that they cannot be tourists!) ignore!

14/07/2025: A lovely restaurant in the center of Selvino. Quality food at reasonable prices for the location. Vegetarian options are available. There's a fixed-price menu that includes casoncelli alla bergamasca, polenta, and venison bites. The service is professional and discreet, always a guarantee of the quality of the dishes served.
