06/01/2026: Everything was excellent. I tried the 4-course tasting menu with wine pairings, which was delicious. My partner ordered à la carte, raw venison and royal tongue. Everything was delicious, congratulations!

27/12/2025: Initially with the other owners - it was always excellent!!! But now - I will never return! It's become like a poor bar in a remote station... all that's left is a beautiful garden and an enchanting view of the lake!!! A menu that makes you have no idea what's written... in fact, they mix chicken with fish, fish with white chocolate, rice with licorice... and so on... All this... modern in their opinion!!! Tables without tablecloths... As soon as I tasted it - I immediately decided to give up... What an experience!!!! I will never return!!! I absolutely do not recommend it!!! They are not even worth one star!!

07/01/2026: We spent a relaxing weekend here. The hotel is well-maintained and truly charming, and you can feel the family run atmosphere. The rooms are very clean and pleasant. The highlight of the property (in my opinion) is the varied breakfast with excellent products, and the location with a breathtaking lake view! A romantic place to indulge in some pampering and some time for yourself.

03/01/2026: We booked a room with a lake view on Booking.com, and from the photos it looked like a very respectable room. We entered the "room," and what we saw was not what we booked and saw in the photos. There wasn't even room to walk, there was no bidet, and not even room to store our suitcases... We decided to go to reception to ask for clarification, explaining that if I book a certain type of room, I expect to get that. After complaining that the photos didn't match what we were given, the receptionist replied, "It's the same room, but the photos are taken from above." Honestly, I didn't think I was being taken for a ride. The receptionist managed to find a viable solution: a room with more living space and a bidet. Another negative note was the room's soundproofing, which wasn't there; we could hear every little thing. That same evening, we used the private spa service (a jacuzzi, sauna, and a small cabin called a relaxation area) for the modest sum of €70, which I found to be very expensive. As for the breakfast, it was good but nothing special, saved by the very courteous service staff and the very romantic lake view. After breakfast, we met Mirtilla, a very affectionate dachshund. We picked her up from the road after five minutes. She was about to be hit by a van. I brought her back to reception, asking if it was theirs, and when I explained what had happened, the receptionist replied, "She's been alive for four years and has never been hit." Not even a thank you or a gesture of kindness. We will definitely never return and will not recommend the accommodation. To do this job, just having a beautiful view isn't enough.

28/12/2025: Excellent local and regional dishes. Definitely worth repeating on your next stay in the Cavallina Valley.

11/12/2025: From the outside, you wouldn't know it, but once inside, a world of professionalism, passion, and flavors opens up. The dining room has a few well-kept tables. Cristian pampered us with an aperitif with amaro, so much so that I repeated it the next day for lunch. I'm not a big fan of lake fish, and I was pleasantly surprised by a truly interesting appetizer, from trout to carpione sturgeon, smoked pike, and char—all local products presented and prepared with passion. The cured meats are equally as good, from prosciutto to lonzino, and donkey salami with excellent melted tomino. And what can I say about the Fassona tartare... spectacular. First courses: risotto with perch and risotto with white asparagus, both very delicate. I'm not a fan of fried fish either, but the pan-fried golden perch was truly delicious. Homemade desserts, bread, and focaccia Everything was truly fantastic, complemented by a pleasant atmosphere, friendly and courteous service, and each dish was carefully explained and narrated, with details about the provenance of each ingredient. The outdoor terrace also has its place, offering a charming view. A real surprise, and the price was also very reasonable. I should point out that in the photos, the fish appetizer and risotto were shared, so the portions were small.

05/01/2026: It's a shame it closed, Riva di Solto loses one of the few restaurants in the area, a place where you could have a good time and eat just as well.

31/12/2025: We trusted the online photos (which showed seafood pasta and pizza), but the menu was completely different, and there was no pizza for lunch. Pros: Spectacular view, friendly staff, and convenient parking. Cons: Exorbitant prices (€18 for foiade in bianco all'olio due to an intolerance). The nettle gnocchi were decent, but the "reinterpretation" of tiramisu, while we appreciated the idea, was a shapeless mess with an undefined flavor. The temperature was cold. We pay for the location and the kindness of the waitress, but the quality and consistency with what was advertised leave much to be desired. I do not recommend it.
