08/06/2025: Such a lovely hotel!! We saw turkey and deer on the patio deck! Its right outside of the Yosemite south entrance so its a perfect place to stop on your way in or your way out of Yosemite. Close enough to town, restaurants, and Bass Lake is a short drive away! Roasted smores on the fire. Made some great memories!

08/06/2025: A Hidden Gem Near Yosemite! I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Sierra Sky Ranch. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The hotel is impeccably maintained—despite being an older property, I didn’t see a single spot of dirt anywhere. They really take pride in keeping it spotless and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic, and little touches like the cucumber water and iced tea always available in the lobby made us feel so cared for. The amenities were perfect and contributed to a truly relaxing stay. The staff is where this hotel really shines. Everyone went above and beyond, and I heard the same from my friends and family who stayed with me. Special shoutout to Marlo, who was the highlight of our visit. She checked in on us regularly and made sure our entire group felt at home—her kindness and attention to detail really made the experience unforgettable. We also hosted a wedding rehearsal here, and it was amazing. The setting was beautiful, and the staff made everything so easy and stress-free. I absolutely recommend this location for events—it’s the perfect mix of charm, comfort, and professionalism. We also loved the picturesque setting—seeing wild turkeys and deer around the property every day was such a treat. Honestly, the hotel was so enjoyable that it almost made the trip up towards Yosemite feel unnecessary! If you’re looking for a charming, well-kept, and genuinely welcoming place to stay near Yosemite, Sierra Sky Ranch is a must. A true hidden gem—I’d recommend it in a heartbeat! We will definitely be staying here again!

21/04/2025: We came to eat in this restaurant as a family (with our children, almost 4 and 7 years old). We were very well received and we loved the dishes served (troffie, ravioli, artichokes, mussels, stuffed vegetable starters, tiramisu, strawberries and delicious lemon cream). A real delight! We recommend this restaurant 1000%!!!!

17/06/2025: Bellissima scoperta. Piatti cucinati e presentati con maestria, ingredienti di qualità massima, abbinamenti molto azzeccati che replicherò sicuramente (la carbonara di seppie una bontà). Il tutto condito con una lista dei vini molto buona, con il personale gentilissimo e attento alle esigenze del cliente e da un prezzo in linea con la qualità dei piatti assaggiati. Consigliatissimo

29/05/2025: Despite our delay, we were welcomed with great kindness and availability. The table with a sea view was simply breathtaking, a real pleasure for the eyes. The food was excellent, taken care of in every detail and really tasty. A special thanks to the owners, exquisite and passionate people, who make the experience even more enjoyable. 14/06/2025: Very nice place in the historic center. The food is really good, they use seasonal products (the menu changes depending on the availability of raw materials). The lady who served us was very nice, professional and welcoming (like all the staff). A pleasant discovery on the first evening, they were confirmed the second time we had dinner. Trofie al pesto were the best we ate in Pietra Ligure. Recommended!

26/05/2025: Servizio sorridente e gentile ma estremamente lento: 2 ore e mezza per due piatti più dolce. Troppe a nostro avviso. Locale curato nei minimi dettagli e molto piacevole. Spazio tra i tavoli, bagno pulitissimo. I piatti un flop, si salvano solo gli entrèe di benvenuto ed il dolce. Rovinare un ottimo pesto, abbinandolo al limone ed al peperoncino, è un crimine!! A volte è sufficiente utilizzare materia prima di qualità e piatti semplici. Conto eccessivo.
