12/06/2026: I followed an online review and although in my opinion it is good, I don't think it is the best in Loano, but some people prefer the focaccia greasy, some saltier, some bland, some crunchy and well cooked. When the best focaccia is found by getting up early in the morning and taking a tour of the bakeries, never trust what people say, because it's a matter of personal taste, and in any case, this one isn't bad.

09/04/2026: god polco good food but 3 hours to get 2 awful dishes while the other tables were getting their food it took them more than 1 hour to bring us the first courses and then they ended up saying that the kitchen was closing

12/02/2026: Renovated decor, walls painted by a very young artist, with charming Chinese characters. The menu has been expanded and significantly improved, with more carefully prepared dishes; both in quantity and quality.

27/12/2025: I was served by her, the lady with glasses and black hair, and I have to say: excellent server. Her smile is like the smell of warm bread in the morning, simple but capable of making your day better. Genuine kindness that makes you want to return.

12/08/2025: It's undoubtedly the best focaccia in Loano and beyond! Quality and courtesy seem to have found the perfect combination in a small, characteristic Ligurian alley. This is the oldest and most historic bakery. I highly recommend it!

08/05/2026: We can't rate the food because we only had coffee, but it was excellent. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming; you can tell it's been meticulously maintained and every detail has been carefully considered. Natalia was incredibly kind and made us feel welcome. She's an art expert and also knows how to help you discover and appreciate the beauty of Loano. It's truly a lovely place to take a regenerating break! Well done!

22/02/2026: We stopped at this roastery for a coffee. We tried the "Peru" blend, which was exceptional, and listening to the owner tell us about the history, provenance, and differences between the various blends was a huge plus! How wonderful it is to still find people who love their work. Congratulations and highly recommended!

19/04/2026: In Loano, I visited all the bakeries for nine days, and in my personal opinion, La Forneria is by far the best in Loano. The staff are smiling, fast, and attentive. The products are incredibly fresh and truly excellent in every way. Affordable prices for a wide selection of pastries, from savory to sweet. The atmosphere is clean, with well-maintained and organized display cases that convey a wonderful sense of care and affection for the products and their presentation. An excellent baker, one I haven't met before... but just look and enjoy what he produces with his hands, worthy of Saint Honoré of Amiens. It's impossible to find even the slightest criticism. S&P International Top Rating AAA

04/05/2026: We chose to book a table at this restaurant on Saturday evening to try the pizza, but once we were shown to our table, we were told it wasn't possible to order pizza. We ordered a couple of dishes, some of which were expensive, but they didn't give us the pleasure of eating something we couldn't replicate better at home. The restaurant is very nice, but that's not enough. Perhaps they should give the customer a chance to tell us before they sit them down that pizza service wasn't available.

27/11/2025: Today for the first time we had lunch with spaghetti allo scoglio and lasagna, everything was excellent, the friendliness was excellent.

24/09/2025: We ordered a paella for two to take away (€13 each), and I highly recommend it! It was hearty, rich, and flavorful, and the food was top-notch. We'll be back for the fritto misto, which is also delicious. Affordable prices, excellent service, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

19/04/2026: The atmosphere is impeccably maintained: the outdoor tables are set around olive tree vases! The menu pays attention to local traditions; I really enjoyed it, both for its variety and for its thoughtfulness and flavor. The prices are a bit higher, but they're still fair. Very friendly staff. Beautiful!

20/12/2025: There were four of us, two of whom were underage. One of our friends had asked for an alcoholic cocktail and was rightly told it wasn't possible. I joked that we could pretend I was drinking it, but we were told again that wasn't possible, so we agreed. At that point, we ordered three non-alcoholic drinks and one alcoholic drink for our adult friend. The waitress took the order and left. After about a minute, a woman with curly hair came over and very rudely told us, "Since you're not ordering anything, go away." We were speechless: we had already ordered, we were humiliatingly kicked out of the place, and don't even try to say we were rude because I would never dare speak badly to the staff face-to-face because I do this job myself.
