01/05/2025: At Samsara you can feel at ease right from the moment you enter. The managers welcomed us today, well after lunch time, with a smile and without batting an eyelid. And what a surprise to discover a family environment where the owners don't mind a good chat. And then the quality of the food is high. We took fassona trio and fassona tartare with caramelized onions. Very good meat. Next time we will definitely try other things. If you like beer (and theirs is very good) you are spoiled for choice here. As for wine and why not also for champagne. GOOD

26/04/2025: Nel cuore di Loano, in uno dei caruggi più vivaci del centro storico, si trova il “Samsara, risto-wine and beer” che si distingue non solo per l’offerta enogastronomica ma anche per l’atmosfera calorosa e familiare che lo rende unico. Il Samsara ti conquista fin dal primo momento perché ogni dettaglio è curato con amore e passione e perché vieni accolto come un amico di vecchia data. Il menù è semplice ma ogni piatto è fatto di ingredienti freschi e accostamenti che lo rendono particolare. Un esempio? La cheesecake di fassona piemontese: una delizia! La lista dei vini e delle birre è ricca e interessante: difficile non trovare qualcosa che soddisfi ogni palato! Che sia per consumare un pasto, un aperitivo o anche solo per un drink a fine giornata, i proprietari vi accoglieranno con un sorriso e sapranno consigliarvi con attenzione e senza invadenza, facendovi sentire clienti speciali. Al Samsara viene voglia di tornare e portare con sè amici e parenti perché tutto contribuisce all’esperienza e nulla è frutto del caso, neanche la playlist musicale!

06/07/2025: We had lunch with friends. The tagliolini neri with local cuttlefish were very good (they melted in your mouth) as well as the trofie with pesto. Normal prices. Recommended

06/07/2025: I had dinner at Bagatto last night, expectations were really high but during and after dinner great disappointment. I ordered: - melon and shrimp salad, unfortunately the shrimp were missing except for a few tiny pieces that did not justify the price; - tuna with caramelized onions and pistachios, the tuna was overcooked and the flavor of the onions (too many) dominated the dish. Bread and three pieces of focaccia were not fresh. I thought about giving up dessert. Too bad!

27/06/2025: Non è vacanza se non andiamo da Manin a mangiare le frittelle di baccalà, le acciughe frittelle, le trofie al pesto e qualche altro piattino di pesce.

07/06/2025: Ho letto le ultime 2 recensioni, e devo smentirle. Le materie prime sono ottime, i ragazzi gentilissimi ed il titolare molto ospitale. Prezzi nella media della Liguria e cucina come a casa! Penso che ritornerò sicuramente.

22/04/2025: Located in the alleys of Loano, it is a place that we appreciate both for a quick lunch and for an aperitif. The burgers are excellent, both in traditional and vegetarian versions. Accompanied by a good red beer on tap, you can relax and enjoy the sea air which is just a few dozen meters away. Nice and friendly owners. Good value for money.

29/06/2025: I visited the workshop recently and the experience was definitely disappointing. The place itself is not bad, but what ruins everything is the attitude of the staff: rude, brusque and unprofessional. • From the moment I ordered, the staff showed obvious annoyance to my questions, answering hastily and with an annoyed tone - just as reported by other customers . • This is not an isolated case: several people on online review platforms complain about the same unfriendly and unhelpful behavior, especially from those who take orders • Overall: unwelcoming service and, in my case, what should have been a pleasant moment turned into a feeling of annoyance. The advice is clear: if you are looking for courtesy and a minimum of sympathy, here you risk being very disappointed. A change in the relationship with customers is needed, because it is not enough to have a good pizza if you are then treated like a burden.

26/06/2025: Nice place!!! The decor immediately strikes you.... garage style...with motorcycles, cars and old and iconic objects. Specialty "pizza a la pala"...wide choice...and I must say that the 2 choices we made were really excellent. Fast service...and average prices. We will definitely be back. 👍

31/05/2025: Brunch Mi spiace dover constatare la mancata cortesia e attenzione al cliente dovuta sicuramente al fatto che siamo dei numeri senza volti che vanno e vengono....mi spiego meglio.....io sono di Milano e avrei voluto pranzare domenica in questo ristorante......ho chiamato lunedì x prenotare e mi è stato detto che era tutto pieno e di riprovare giovedì.....quindi ieri ho provato più volte a contattare il ristorante ma senza nessuna risposta quindi ovviamente ho provato 3 o 4 volte ... Nel pomeriggio vengo richiamata da un numero di cellulare a me sconosciuto.....ho chiesto di presentarsi ed era questo ristorante.......con modi arroganti e fuori luogo vengo accusata di aver infastidito con le mie chiamate e mi chiede in maniera molto scortese che cosa volessi.....io ovviamente ho risposto niente e ho chiuso la comunicazione. La mancata cortesia e attenzione al cliente nn alimenta la professionalità anzi....io sarò un cliente mancato e nn consiglierò questo locale...la buona cucina da sola nn regge

A restaurant where you can breathe the love for the profession, the attention to detail and that perfect mix of familiarity and professionalism that makes you feel immediately in the right place. The fish? Very fresh. The service? Always with a smile, even in front of annoying customers like me, who always ask for something more (and who are promptly satisfied!). The dish of the heart? A tagliolini with truffles with a crudité of scampi to marvel — yes, with the “g”, because here even the words become better. Really good. A place to return to. 14/06/2025: I highly recommend Gein in the historic center of Loano! Intimate and excellent quality! Marinated and seared salmon to die for, divine raw fish. The wine list offers a wide choice but Lollo always suggests the best to accompany the dishes.

04/05/2025: One of the best fish taverns in Loano, certainly a few steps from the sea, although the external terrace is not directly facing it. For those arriving by car, I recommend parking before the railway level crossing. The seafood salad with artichoke julienne and the potted cod with vegetables are excellent. The manager and chef, who abandoned his profession to realize his dream, knows his stuff. Simple environment, not always cared for: an extra eye would enhance the same dishes better.
