19/08/2025: Recently, four boys aged 11 to 14, all of them cousins, came over. Asking them how their evening went, they revealed some horrifying discoveries. The waiter REFUSED to serve three tempura instead of two, after one of the boys asked for another. But the most shocking thing was the payment, as the waiter decided to take advantage of the boys' youthful and sometimes ignorant attitude by refusing cash and refusing to split the bill between the four of them. Luckily, one of the boys had a card and managed to pay for everyone. If I had been there, I would have called the tax authorities, not just gotten up and left.

20/08/2025: As good as the food is, the staff is very rude. This is not a place to go with babies because they don't accept their language. They are shameful to say the least. Five minutes after we sat down at the outdoor table, we were asked to quiet our 11-month-old son because we were disturbing the other people at dinner. No one had complained; in fact, they were very happy to see little ones so happy. We were asked to teach good manners, but we think that's difficult to do with a baby of just a few months, as we all know. Absolutely avoid.

08/08/2025: Excellent food. It's a shame the portions were really small. We waited over 45 minutes. The setting is beautiful overlooking the Laigueglia sea. We weren't satisfied.

17/08/2025: Amarcord is a glimpse of Emilia in the beautiful village of Laigueglia. The quality of the products is excellent, and Beppe and Lety's friendliness and helpfulness always make you feel welcome. I recommend it as one of the best places to spend a couple of hours in good company, eat well, and enjoy life! Thank you guys for your dedication and kindness.

17/08/2025: You know the Emilia region that fills your heart and where you eat so much and so well? Well, you can forget about it here. I was truly disappointed by them; I'll start by saying that I've been to their restaurant several times and have always had a good experience, but now I found what I was served ridiculous. A mediocre piadina with little toppings, and you're done with it after just two bites. Dear Liguria, you're disappointing me once again, and it's no wonder people don't come to these places anymore.

16/08/2025: The food at this restaurant was excellent, but the service and strict time constraints unfortunately significantly spoiled the evening. We arrived promptly at 7:30 p.m., but were seated at a less than ideal table, even though two significantly better ones remained free the entire time. Our order was only taken after about 30 minutes of waiting (just after 8 p.m.) after we asked for it. Even after that, everything was delayed: The appetizer didn't arrive until around 8:20 p.m., and the main course at 8:50 p.m. We had barely finished enjoying the excellent meal (tuna, pasta with lobster) when we were asked for dessert at 9:10 p.m. – without a menu, only verbal options, and immediately rushed because our time was running out. When we pointed out that all the delays were due to the service, the waitress reacted defiantly and without apology, saying we were "the last to arrive and therefore the last to be served" – which was simply not true. Despite the excellent cuisine, the overall impression was disappointing, as the behavior of the staff overshadowed the evening.

13/08/2025: If perfection exists, you'll find it here at the fisherman's. The restaurant overlooks a beautiful little square, and from the tables you can see the sea and the pier. Excellent food. Amazing spaghetti with clams, divine Ligurian-style swordfish, and to finish, a stunning almond parfait. Perfect service, great attention to the customer and their needs. Very kind young people who always serve you with a smile. Truly well done.

28/06/2025: I took normal focaccia and with onions. You can't resist taking a piece of focaccia to eat it by the sea. I didn't like the excess oil that dripped and seemed to have been put on after cooking. I understand, however, that as a Genoese I am too critical

21/06/2025: My wife and I spent a couple of days in Laigueglia and you can't miss going to the Tuchetin focacceria. The first thing I notice is the smiling and professional staff, for me this is fundamental... once I got home in the evening I tasted the focaccias I bought... I was speechless! I'll start by saying that I bought various slices to taste different flavors and the one with Venere rice and the whole wheat one were my favorites. Soft, tasty and flavorful. Young team! Congratulations guys, I'll give you a good advertisement when I return to Canton Ticino (CH).
