19/05/2026: After 20 years, we returned to Borgio and discovered that the restaurant had moved, but the deliciousness of its dishes remained unchanged. Today, as then, we ate wonderfully ❤️

It's a shame you couldn't eat there. Six of us arrived on Saturday evening without a reservation. I politely asked if there were seats for six. A young, curly-haired waiter with blue eyes replied that it was impossible. So I politely asked if it was possible to order takeout. He replied, annoyed, "Well, I can't tell you how long, you have all those tables out front." I persisted (because I was happy to spend time in that beautiful place) and asked, "Can you give me a rough estimate?" He replied, "How can I tell you? It could be 20, 30 minutes, or an hour. What do I know about what people eat?" At which point he turned and left.
I'm Ligurian, but sometimes I'm ashamed of our hospitality.
A piece of advice... next time, instead of treating potential new customers this way, offer a wine list while you wait. That way you'll appear polite, and above all, you'll make money.
04/07/2026: After a good hike, we arrive, specifying that we didn't have a reservation, but with all due politeness, we ask if they have room or if we can wait for takeout pizzas.
The blue-eyed, curly-haired waiter, very rudely, blaring loudly so everyone can clearly hear him, treats us rudely, saying he can't tell us a time, asking if we can't see how many people there are, etc.
We once again politely ask for an approximate time, and he again rudely answers us when all we needed was "Guys, half an hour, I don't know, an hour. In the meantime, do you want to have a glass of wine?"
So, we absolutely don't recommend it, because the place may be wonderful, but if this is the welcome...

The view is magnificent and the food is excellent. The wines are tastefully selected. Thank you for the warm welcome.
03/07/2026: Good morning, family birthday lunch. This restaurant is located in the narrow streets of Verezzi. The friendly yet highly trained staff served us beautifully presented and high-quality dishes.
The wine list is good, obviously, with Ligurian selections and niche labels. The location is quaint and pleasant.
It's also easy to get to, with parking nearby. The bill was fair and well-proportioned.
My compliments to the young and very friendly owners.
My advice: make a reservation...

21/06/2026: A refined place, not just a simple pastry shop but a place where you can be pampered with sweets that tickle your fancy and refined coffees like the caffè al bacio I had. Even from the street it's not very obvious, but from the inside it's very well-kept.

Piatti di pesce molto buoni, servizio giovane, attento, molto gentile e disponibile.

The food was delicious and the seaside location is absolutely stunning. Special thanks to our waitress, who was incredibly friendly and smiley!
However, the service lacked flexibility. Not her, the manager, or the colleague... Well, three of us were stuck in the sun, and the waiter refused to move us to a nearby shaded table that had just cleared, claiming it was "booked." Two minutes later, only two people sat there. It would have been a simple swap to move our group of five to the shade and give the duo our old table, also on the part with a shadow.
**Advice to management:** Don't complicate simple solutions. A little flexibility goes a long way in customer satisfaction. We left on friendly terms, but the experience could have been much better.

25/10/2025: We bought 1 cannolo (good!), 1 single-serving cassatina, and 4 dry biscuits. We punched in the receipt: €16, and paid. After leaving the shop, I thought about it and it seemed a bit high, so I went back to ask. When I asked the individual prices, the owner commented, "I made a mistake, it was 3 + 5 + 3 for €11," and I honestly think she must have been confused. Then she added, "I made a mistake when weighing the dry biscuits." And I remember well that the biscuits hadn't been weighed at all initially. You decide.

08/09/2025: Genuine, family atmosphere, kind and empathetic staff—quite rare in Liguria—wide selection, good value, and dishes prepared with true love and in a sublime manner. The pesto is top-notch, and a Genoese person is telling you this! If you're passing through Borgio, it's a must-try without a shadow of a doubt. Tiziano from Genoa.
27/08/2025: Recommended by a local, my daughter and I stopped by today to pick up something to try. We bought several products (I would have bought them all 🤣), and they're all excellent. I've read some negative comments about the prices, which are displayed, so you know you won't spend a fortune, but the products, as far as I'm concerned, are delicious and worth the money.
