I've been here a couple of times for breakfast... The first time I had a long ginseng, a double-filled pistachio croissant, and a pistachio cake. The pistachio croissant is a bit unusual, if you will, given that the filling is jam. I'd never tried it before, but it tasted decent. The pistachio cake was dry, though. I thought it had a filling, but I was wrong. The flavor wasn't bad; you could taste the pistachios in the dough, but it didn't convince me. All I know is that we sat down, and after at least 15/20 minutes of sitting and waiting with the table still waiting to be cleared, a girl saw my annoyed face and immediately called her colleague over. The place was full, or almost, but I counted only eight waiters. It's unthinkable to wait that long for a bar that seats about 50 people. Unfortunately, they don't even let you go to the counter and go straight to your table because they have to come to you... So, service fails. The second day I come, and I get a pancakes with maple syrup, strawberries and bananas, and it was very good, and an orange juice, and this was also good... unlike the day before, there were not many people so I didn't wait much, but already knowing what to have, as soon as I sat down I immediately called the waitress so the service was better, but you shouldn't hope not to find anyone to get there faster because with all that staff the wait that day was unacceptable

I'm belatedly posting a review of the place I visited last Easter. I'll start by saying I was already familiar with the place, as I'm obligated to have breakfast there when I'm in Alassio. Compared to last time, I was surprised by the change in management. The main thing is that the quality of the food hasn't changed at all. The new managers also seemed very friendly and quick with their work. I also found a very friendly gentleman at the cash register (only because he was a few years older than the rest of the staff, "mature" enough). So, I'll reiterate: having breakfast at Latteria is always a safe bet.

Clean, welcoming, professional, and friendly staff. Wide selection. Excellent location for a super breakfast. Recommended.

Excellent for breakfast with a wide selection of croissants that they can also fill. Prices are above average in my opinion; two cappuccinos and a croissant cost €7.

A great place for an afternoon snack, but also for other occasions. They offer top-quality ingredients, with interesting and affordable options! Definitely worth a try if you're in Borgio!
