20/09/2025: A charming residence! The residence isn't huge, but it's very well-maintained, clean, and quiet. We stayed in a split-level studio apartment, with the bedroom on the mezzanine floor. I was worried the ceilings might be low, but instead, the entire apartment is airy and well-furnished. Our bedroom window overlooked the pool, but we also had a view of the sea. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. They even included a beach umbrella in the price. Pool umbrellas and loungers are always included. The restaurant is also excellent, offering pizza, Ligurian specialties (the fried anchovies are excellent), and even Thai cuisine. Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility and relaxation.

16/10/2025: A refined and very intimate atmosphere, with soft lighting and warm tones. The interior dining room is not at all chaotic, and you can enjoy dinner without having to shout to hear the people at your table (something that's not a given these days). There's also a terrace outside with tables for al fresco dining (inside, I think, is nicer). The staff is very courteous and helpful, and service is very quick. The menu is very limited, with limited choices, but it certainly meets everyone's needs. Drinks and platters are also available. I personally decided to try two seafood dishes: FIRST COURSE - SEAFOOD GREEN GNOCCHI Fresh pasta gnocchi with chard and potatoes, scallops, and swordfish Very good and balanced, you can taste the excellent ingredients behind it; I recommend this dish because it's not heavy and remains very delicate. SECOND COURSE - Fried Calamari The fried calamari here is also very light, not heavy, and the portion is just right for two people sharing or for those who decide to order just the second course. PIZZA - Buffalo Mozzarella The pizza is delicious. I tried a slice of buffalo mozzarella and was really pleased. The dough is light and fluffy, and the tomato sauce is one of the best I've ever had. Perhaps my only flaw was that I expected a little more mozzarella (a bit too little for my taste). DESSERTS - I didn't find anything exceptional about the desserts; the tiramisu was good, but the selection was a bit limited here too. As for the bill, I have to say I was satisfied; we spent €30 each, including a €2 cover charge and a bottle of still water, which we shared. I highly recommend it to everyone; I'll definitely be back.

10/05/2026: We went to this restaurant a year ago, drawn in by the decor and wanting to try a cuisine a little different from the local fare. And I have to admit, it was a disappointment overall, with only the wine saving the meal. And ours was rather salty in the end. A shame.

07/09/2025: A great find in Albenga. We ate Thai food, and the flavors reminded me of my trip to Kosamui. We'll definitely be back. The outdoor area is well-maintained, and the staff is very friendly.

02/06/2026: We discovered this place by chance while wandering the alleys and stopped in for dinner. The menu features Sardinian-Ligurian dishes and a super-convenient 2-course menu for €20. We tried several seafood first and second courses, each one better than the last! A special mention goes to the gnocchi with ragù and calamari, which were truly flavorful. Very friendly and fast service, generous portions, and complimentary liqueur. Definitely worth returning!

03/05/2026: My daughter is a picky eater so while travelling in Italy we order plain pasta for her (usually paying around 6euro). This time she did not want to eat at all so I decided to try. The pasta was covered with multiple dark spots. The waiter was unable to say what it was, the cook did not say anything (offered to cook something else, but we declined). We left with a hungry child, to realise later we were charged 10euro (!) for a plate of plain pasta that nobody dared to eat. Giving two stars only because other dishes were decent.

08/08/2026: Stumbled upon it by chance, a simple place that left us speechless with the service... performed at the table by a robot. 🫣. Friendly staff, quick service and good food. Nothing to say.

19/07/2026: Recently discovered. I love having breakfast there with a friend, but they often leave us waiting to order even though we order the same things every morning 😊 The croissant with lactic acid bacteria is delicious.

18/07/2026: Terrible service, a 30-minute wait, and when we asked at the counter if we could at least get croissants for the children, the answer was no. Other people seated after us, who had ordered at the counter, had their food. Don't worry, if you get up and leave, they won't even bother apologizing. The only good thing was the food.

16/07/2026: Tasty pizza, nice terrace, slightly overheated staff, and good price. Next door is a nice ice cream shop. Highly recommended after dinner.

26/07/2026: Due to a highway closure, I stumbled upon this place by pure chance. A wonderful surprise: local ingredients, interesting pairings, and friendly service...a quick lunch, but one to remember! It's just a few minutes from the Albenga exit, so even if you're just passing through, it's an option worth considering.

13/06/2026: By pure chance, we dined at Conterosso in Albenga. We appreciated the unique setting, the professionalism of the staff, and the excellent quality of the cuisine. It's definitely a corner of Liguria worth considering! If you're ever in Albenga, make sure to stop by; if you're planning on missing out, make an excuse to do so. You won't regret it!
