29/01/2025: We stayed in this residence in June 2024, 2 grandparents and 5 year old grandson Clean facility, very friendly staff and owners, Child-friendly swimming pool and play area. beach about 200 meters away, shops and super stores about one km away, easily reachable by bicycle provided by the residence. inside if you want a good quality restaurant, about 200 meters away. On the beach there is a seafood restaurant, La Rocha de Mar, and a couple of pizzerias nearby. Excellent for a relaxing week

19/02/2025: We went to this establishment with great interest. We came in during the day and booked a table for the evening... As a result, when we arrived in the evening, it turned out to be a big surprise for the staff, for the same girl who accepted our reservation! For a long time they could not give a menu or take an order; the waiters had to be caught and dragged by the hand. I would like to note that the hall was not crowded and many tables had already finished dinner and were just sitting around talking. The first dish was only deep-fried rolls, 2 pieces on a plate were brought in 40 minutes!!! The next dish was mixed up and we waited another 15 minutes for 4 pieces of gyoza. These are just snacks. We never got to wait for the main dishes of noodles and rice! We were very hungry and pretty angry. The dishes were not tasty or beautifully presented. The service is terrible, the atmosphere is specific and not the freshest. There was great hope for the kitchen, but we don’t want to try again. I would like to note that we were not the only ones who left the restaurant angry and hungry at that moment.

05/01/2025: La pizzeria offre una buona pizza, con impasti gustosi e ingredienti freschi, ma purtroppo talvolta le pizze arrivano un po’ bruciate, cosa che rovina leggermente l’esperienza. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, ma l’aspetto trasandato potrebbe lasciare un’impressione poco curata. L’ambiente potrebbe beneficiare di un po’ di manutenzione: molti tavoli sono instabili o presentano scheggiature, e si nota qualche traccia di polvere qua e là. Se venissero curati meglio i dettagli, l’atmosfera sarebbe sicuramente più accogliente e invitante. Nonostante questi piccoli difetti, è un posto che merita una visita per la qualità della pizza. Consigliato, ma con qualche riserva.

18/02/2025: We had lunch here two consecutive days because "feeling at home" is priceless. Well cooked dishes and fresh fish. Courtesy and availability and the super kindness of Lana who remained in our hearts and in that of Oreo, our dog, who was spoiled and pampered like family. Thanks and... see you soon.

25/02/2025: We went to Cava Rustica because we received an invitation for dinner, and this place turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The pizza was excellent, featuring a crunchy crust and high-quality ingredients. Additionally, the staff was very attentive, and our food arrived quickly. While you shouldn't expect a fancy setting, the reasonable prices match the casual atmosphere. I would highly recommend it.

09/01/2025: 4 people on 12/31/24 appetizer shared by 2 without additional dish, a plate of ravioli, 3 turbot (minimal portions) a portion of lentils with a taste of cotechino offered by the house (served while we were consuming the second course) dessert (definitely panettone stale). Served with the funnel as if there was no tomorrow. Food quality good but €50 each seemed excessive to me, placemat and paper napkins. I will definitely not go back.

24/12/2024: Semplice, genuino e gustoso, questi sono gli aggettivi che mi sentirei di attribuire al pranzo di oggi. Nessun piatto elaborato, nulla di eccessivo, ma una ottima cucina del territorio, con accostamenti tradizionali, uso di materie prime fresche, ortaggi locali (troneggiano gli splendidi carciofi di Albenga). Abbiamo assaggiato il menù degustazione (tre antipasti, un primo, un secondo, un dolce). Ottimo il brandacujun, proprio come lo si fa a casa, molto buone le seppie grigliate su misticanza; sontuosi primi, con pasta fresca, gamberoni e carciofi (la porzione era veramente abbondante) e, infine, molto gustosa l’ombrina alla ligure, morbida e profumata. Cassata non eccezionale, pigato Calleri a mio avviso troppo caro ma, insomma, la prova ha dato ampia soddisfazione a tutti. Il locale, come ricordavo, sempre eccellente e curato. Il prezzo, tutto sommato, adeguato: menu’ di degustazione a 45 euro, più vino, coperto, acqua
